Nice patio seating area of 5-6 tables you want outside but be careful the sun is beaming out there. Inside 5-four person tables, 2-two person tables, a cozy couch for drinking your preferred beverage, and a coffee bar seating. The service was great. As a black coffee drinker the guy allowed me to taste the Cafe de Olla to make sure it wasn't too sweet for me. It was perfect and piping hot. The cinnamon, star of anise, and sugar have a nice balanced flavor. The chilaquiles con bistek y salsa verde was DELICIOUS!! The salsa had the perfect amount of heat and flavor. The egg cooked over medium was fresh and a perfect match for my breakfast. I believe my toast was sour dough bread perfectly toasted. It's very seldom that I come across a perfect meal that doesn't over or under do something. So to create a beautiful breakfast that packed nothing highlighted my day. I was pretty underwhelmed, unfortunately. Nothing I had was bad - I've just bad better and heartier crepes elsewhere. I ordered the choriqueso (savory) and s'mores (sweet) crepes. The choriqueso didn't have a ton of substance to it - the delicious crepe batter overpowered the chorizo and cheese (not a bad thing per se, but the ingredients were lost). The s'mores crepe was much better, but didn't taste any uniquely different from any other s'mores crepe, making it not that memorable. I did appreciate that the service was friendly and prompt, especially for being slammed during a weekend brunch. read more

Love the place the ambiance. It is a very busy place. The food is good. However we ask for a water and they only give one when we are two. So my husband just said that fine. I'll drink water at home. Service is not bad but they don't give the food together. I had to wait for my husband's food to come so we can eat together but the time his food comes my food is already cold. So I sure they still need to practice good service and giving a better service and learn how restaurants industry works when it comes to customer service. read more

This place had been on my list of places to try and stopped by on an early Sunday afternoon. It was packed. All of the indoor and outdoor tables were taken, so didn't stay and try any food. Came here for some coffee. It's a small place, so come early or you might not find seating. Also, if you're waiting, find a place by the wall or you're constantly moving out of the way. I had a coconut frappe. There's one size (i think its basically a medium). The staff is friendly. We came later so we waited a good bit for our drinks. Giving this place a 2-star because the food is actually good and I want to be fair in this review, but the service is so repeatedly poor I would almost give a 1-star. Today was our worst experience. I'm 8mo pregnant, with a toddler, waited in line for a while to order. The place is full with limited seating but fortunately two tables opened up while we waited so there was a place to sit, but when I got up to the register the woman behind me in line yelled over me to the cashier and asked in Spanish if she could have one of the tables. Cashier said yes. Then while I'm ordering another couple comes in and just takes the only other open table (did not wait in line, did not ask). The cashier sighs and tells me "sorry, no tables now, you can eat outside or take your food to go". I then stood against the wall very pregnant and very uncomfortable for 30 minutes while I waited in my food. I got to watch the same two women who cut and took my table sitting get served their food 10+ minutes before I received my to-go bag (despite ordering after me - remember they were after me in line). I should also mention that at checkout , the cashier immediately cleared the screen as I was reaching my finger to the touchpad to select how I'd like my receipt (print/text/etc.) I said "wait, but I need a receipt" and she looked at her screen, sighed, and said "um, it's ok, just go". Overall bad experience and unfortunately it's on par with most of our grievances visiting this place. read more

This was a perfect place for my family to eat a sunday breakfast. My wife and kids love crepes, and I rarely pass up Chilaquiles. Everything was tasty. It is a small place, and luckily, they had outdoor seating that we took advantage of on a beautiful day. They serve Julius Mienle coffee, which is another plus for me. The Mexican coffee has a light sweetness to it. No need to add cream or sugar, as it isn't bitter like regular coffee. Had the spinach and mushrooms crepe. Very filling inside and came with a side of Chipotle sauce that was delicious, note the sauce has a kick to it for those that don't handle well with spice. The Sweet strawberry crepe had lots of strawberry. The inside seemed to have a strawberry compote. So you're sure to have a strawberry for every bite. It was nice to know they bring out the order to you and cleanup the table after you leave. There are also seating outside to enjoy the summer weather. read more

Small but mighty delicious brunch place. There's only about 6 tables for 2-4 people inside, but the food and drinks are amazing! There's only about 4 workers between the cooks and baristas, so the wait for food takes a little bit, BUT it's beyond worth it. We tried the Nutella crepe and cappuccino. Both were delicious and I would definitely go back to try a savory crepe! First time coming here. It's an order at the counter restaurant, but a server brings your food to the table. It's a small unassuming place with maybe 10 tables, varying in size from two to four seats. They also have a few outdoor tables. The place was doing a pretty good business when we arrived, so there was a line to place an order. A table opened up while in line, so one of us took a seat to hold the table. We were there for breakfast. It's a little pricey for the type of restaurant it is. For two of us our bill came to about $45. The food, when it finally came, was decent portion sizes, well prepared and delicious. One complaint, if I have to make one, is something that drives me crazy. They brought out my wife's plate first, and she was half finished before they finally brought mine out. They need to better learn cooking times of each meal on an order to better understand which to start cooking first, so they finish about the same time. Other than that, my only other suggestion is turn up the AC. It was warm in there. They had a fan blowing, but that's never a good idea, blowing dust around when you're serving food. Found this surprise of a gem doing the usual browse for brunch while staying at a hotel nearby. A great place to visit on a cold winter day, warm atmosphere, hot coffee and great food. The gentleman at the front was so courteous, communicative and accommodating. I think with a rush the limited seating inside may fill up quickly but there is a couch for a couple to sit and wait or a bar seat as well. Steak Chilaquiles Rojos (Red) had a good spice from chipotle peppers, the egg, sour cream and aged cotija on top really set the balance. Steak was thin, not overly grisly 8/10 overall. I think I'll try the verdes (green) version with chicken next time. Cafe de La Olla (Mexican style coffee) was the best I've had in a while. Didn't even need to ask for milk as it's served black, not overly sweet and nicely balanced spiced flavor. read more

What a lovely place! The staff was super friendly. While we waited for our order I chatted with one of the staff and he was extremely nice and welcoming. I love the cute neon sign as well as the rest of the decor and they have a TV that shows photos of their food which is a nice and helpful touch. The coffee I ordered was delicious and my friends enjoyed it as well. We also ordered a few different crepes and they were all really delicious. My personal favorite was the sweet house crepe. It had a ton of fruit in it and I was told that all of it is freshly cut in the store. They also make their fruit preserves in house. I definitely recommend! Their ham and cheese crepe was yummy and it comes with a spicy jam on the side that compliments it well. read more
