They are obnoxious and rude. Starting from owners and workers. Bought and italian parmigianao cheese a couple weeks ago and didn't use it until today. I spoke to one of the owners and explained myself and he said it's not his problem and we do not want you to come here and hanged up the phone to me. What a Customer service the owners has imagine there workers. I went there three times to buy my italian sub and wanted to pick my own lunch meat and told the Hispanic worker to cut it in half. Guess what he didn't do it and laughed at me. I gave them another chance with my cheese and now that's it. This was he cherry on top. Hopefully this deli goes out of business soon. What a joke! Just an FYI cheese lasted s couple months. You guys sold customer bad food. I should call the help department so the could investigate the food there. Guess I think I am

All of this time I have been passing Frankie's Deli woefully ignorant of the wonder this spot holds. Stopped by at 11:45am on a weekday and if the full parking lot wasn't the first indication that this place is something special the long line clearly full of regulars sealed the deal. Don't let that line deter you if you happen to run into it though. The staff are on top of everything so it moves really fast. That provided me with just enough time to peruse the menu before making the decision to keep it simple. I ordered an Italian sub with everything on it. I did make the mistake of not noting that peppers are not included in the everything but the sandwich was still one of the better Italian subs I've had in recent memory. There is a lot of seating both inside and outside and even though the place was bustling I noted more than a few empty spots I could have taken to enjoy my sandwich right there if I had had the time. Staff were very friendly and as I mentioned before total pros at keeping things humming along. I can't wait for my next visit to Frankie's Deli.

Excellent mid size servings. Pretty fast service. Beware of the Karen at register she is trouble rude, pushy overall leaves a bad taste otherwise we would be here everyday on girls lunch break.

I've been coming here since their prior location and the food is still quality. It's definitely worth a visit and is even a great place to stop for lunch. Ordered the meatball sub with hot giardiniera and it was fantastic.

Great little spot for a vegan sandwich or a vegan veggie sandwich…read more However they are way too expensive for a bread and lettuce and tomato sandwich!!! At first, I was disappointed they didn't have Chicago Italian beef. So I asked what they would recommend, and the very polite lady behind the counter said, "You should try my meatball sub." I laughed and told her, "I don't know... my late grandma (100% Italian) made the best meatballs ever, but alright, let's do it." Then she asked, "Do you want peppers?" and of course my reply was, "Heck yeah!" She chuckled. When the sub came out, I have to say, it was huge. I sat down, took one quick smell and a bite... BOOM. I was instantly transported back to my grandma's kitchen, eating Saturday pasta and meatballs. I highly recommend checking this little gem out. The service, the atmosphere, and especially the food were all amazing. I definitely was not disappointed. P.S. Don't skip the desserts -- once again, absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for the memories and the great experience!

This Homemade Food place is so secret, you will never find it. You have to know it's there. Hidden…read moreaway in the basement of a Citibank building (you have to take the elevator down) on the outskirts of Oak Brook Mall. Uniquely, my meals from West Oak Deli have always had a good homemade taste to them. Not tidy or processed like you often find in restaurants, but really tasting like it came out of someone's kitchen, with all the joys as well as inconsistencies that can produce. Now, I know there are many current fans who will come gunning for me for letting Yelpers in on their little secret, but I'm kind of a squealer and a tattle anyway. Only open from 7:00am to 2:30pm, the hours are pretty limited. But I've found it's a good place to go for lunch pickup. PICKUP! because there are literally less than a handful of tables in there. It can get kind of crowded around lunch, with people standing around waiting for their orders, so go early or later. Or be prepared to make friendly conversation with your fellow patrons. THE FOOD!: This place is homemade sandwich-based, most for $5 or less. Deli, wraps, panini, subs and salads. With breakfasts for $3 or less. And they give you a lot of food. Lots. But the thing to pay attention to is their daily specials. I've had a veggie lasagna in white sauce, that was so large it covered me for three meals. I've had paninis and wraps that were easily twice the size of other sandwich places. The thing to watch out for when transporting your meal is "steam". They give the food to you fresh and hot, but the wrappings they use for sandwiches, tend to hold the heat and steam on your paninis and wraps, so they can get a bit soggy. Ask them to wrap yours more loosely or you can crack a vent open for steam yourself. Should they switch to wrapping sandwiches in a less heat retaining waxed paper (ie. Potbelly's). Sure that would help. Still a huge, delicious homemade sandwich for $5 is worth a bit of compromise.

I used to eat here quite a bit when my office was located in the building. The food was sometimes…read moregood, sometimes mediocre...but definitely overpriced. When the current owner took over prices skyrocketed. In my opinion you can get a better quality lunch at Panera for the same price (easily over $10 if you're not careful). It was a convenience during bad weather but not worth going if you don't work in the building. Mimi made the place pretty good, mostly with her fun presence and attitude. I'm not sure if she's still there. My main reason for reducing my original review is the annoyance of them not removing me from their mailing list. This morning I made my fifth request to do so. They simply won't and evidently don't care. So I decided to place this comment here so that current and potential future customers are in the know. Do yourself a favor; go to the Shake Shack next door instead...
