The chicken was crispy and flavorful, the japchae was delicious, the fried rice was perfectly seasoned, and the rose tteokbokki had a rich, creamy sauce. We also really enjoyed the assorted pancakes. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. When we got home, I thought the assorted pancake was missing from our order because I had mistaken the container for one of the chicken boxes. I called the restaurant, and without hesitation they apologized and offered to personally deliver the pancake to my house. Before they arrived, I realized it had actually been in the bag the whole time. The owner was incredibly kind and still brought the pancake over anyway. It's rare to find that level of care and kindness these days. The food was amazing, and the customer service was even better. We'll definitely be coming back and ordering again. Highly recommend!

They are a small restaurant and they do take some time to prep to-go orders. I suggest ordering at least 30-45 min in advance of you picking up to give them enough time. The chicken wings are sweet/salty, the batter is a bit too thick and causes the pieces to stick to your teeth, not the biggest fan of those but if you stick with the top dishes, you'll be good.

I grew up in Asia and used to eat really spicy food but this is on another level! That being said, I am totally satisfied with the experience. Finishing the whole wing in one go is not possible so I plan to consume it slowly day by day mixing with other food. Their Sando meal with fries is my day to day favorite. I normally order the medium(very spicy) level, it's in my comfort zone. But if you just like a hint of spicy, just order mild or mild+(spicy) level should be good. I always do food delivery and their packaging is always very eco-friendly and nice. This location is a food truck so not many comments on the ambience.

A graffiti covered food truck and covered tables and benches with mood lights around the perimeter. Lots of effort was put toward the environment but it still isn't what Oakland location is. Shared parking lot with liquor store can be convenient -- maybe people deep in car culture would especially like this - you can eat with your car within view. Fries were abundant - probably too many. Burger was large enough I didnt need them at all. I think for me that is the whole problem with this place - its all too much. Its like why I don't like Black Bear diner. Too much food - and too heavy. This is very tender chicken but at the same time heavy enough you couldn't eat something like this every day. Small cute street cat came around for some leftovers. He lives along the wall of neighboring building in the bushes. Added a little more personality.

We had the purple-colored Ube Pancakes and the Khao Hom Waffle, which contained strips of fresh coconut meat, and both beautifully-plated dishes were topped with berries and syrup. I was an even bigger fan of the Thai side of the menu, starting with the Papaya Salad, a refreshing, crunchy mixture of shredded papaya, green beans, tomatoes, and crushed peanut in a spicy, sweet, acidic dressing made of fish sauce and lime. For our mains, the Northern Thai Khao Soi was a noodle soup made of egg noodles and chicken breast strips in a rich coconut curry, topped with crispy egg noodles, pickled cabbage, and fried shallots. From the Chef's Special menu, the Tom Yum Crab Omelet was a mound of jasmine rice enveloped with an egg omelet, topped with chunks of crab, mushrooms, and a creamy tom yum sauce; and my favorite dish was the Roti Gai Tod, a hearty combination of breaded chicken thigh, roti (a flaky flatbread), cucumber salad, jasmine rice, and a mild but flavorful yellow curry sauce on the side. Overall, everything we tried here was delicious, and the service was super quick and friendly too! It's hard to go wrong with anything on the extensive menu--what a great hidden gem of a restaurant in downtown Hayward!

Tom Yum Crab Omelette- the best one to get since it has creamy tom yum sauce, a soft omelette, drizzled with a slice of lime, and crab meat with a few mushroom slices on top of fluffy rice. Khao Hom Waffle- coconut pandan waffle with fruits and syrup on the side. I wish they replaced the syrup with coconut milk syrup for better flavor and used no coconut shreds as a topping. Ube Pancake (side order)- one thick ube pancake that turned out dry when eaten with syrup. Never order anything that is not Thai on the menu. They should add Thai Tea pancakes to their menu with housemade Thai Tea syrup to make it more fusion. Pad Kee Mao w/ Chicken- I regret ordering this because the string beans were half raw, the tofu was dry, and the dish was a bit spicy. I should've ordered Pad Thai or Ka-Pow Short Rib Benedict instead. Thai Tea- strong and sweet, not too watery. It was less crowded when we arrived at 10 am on the weekend. The waitresses were fast and efficient, and the restaurant was nice and spacious.

We were seated fairly quickly by our hostess. We glanced at our menu and found three dishes that we had to try! The following dishes were: - Kow soi duck - Ka-pow sirloin basil fried rice - Pad C U with chicken Our dishes took a more time to to prep but was well worth it! All the dishes we ordered didn't disappoint at all! Everything was a hit for us. I would have to say my favorite dish was the kow soi duck! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back to try other menu items.

However, they had seats available at the bar. Being a party of 2, we took it. The menu has some interesting and not so common Thai offerings in addition to the usual papaya salad, pad thai, curries and stir fries. We ordered the Lord of the sea - a mixed seafood stir fry served with a side of rice and a BBQ pork and pork belly dish which includes rice. The Lord of the sea was our favorite with the spice level (hot) that absolutely fulfilled my spicy food craving! The pork dish was good too, and suitable for someone who may not want a high spice dish. They were slammed with a steady stream of to go orders and dine-in patrons, and our food took 30+ minutes to arrive. The staff was apologetic, and I could see that they were just super busy. One bite of my food and I knew why this place was so popular and I will look forward to returning to try their other dishes (maybe on a weeknight to avoid the crowds)!

The batter and crunch from the fish and shrimp was delicious. I didn't finish my grist and had them the next day and just as good. Brussels sprouts could have been chopped in 1/4 to get more sauce on them or cooked a little more tender. The Jambalaya was seasoned perfectly for me. The beignets were very dense and not light on the inside, maybe skip those next time. The brown sugar lemonade was on point!! Would recommend for a brunch date on a the weekends. The staff were helpful and responsive. Food came out quickly and the music set the ambiance
