This is my second visit and the Manager Emily her customer service is bare minimum. I usually go to the bar and she is usually there and her ambiance is very dreadful. My second visit and she passed my plate like it was 5 for 5 no warmth or acts of service. She just passed my plate like $14 Empanadas is inexpensive. The food was cold but Paul his presence was warm and helpful and simple things like asking me if I want more water and just simply checking in. This is a new place in downtown Hayward. I greatly enjoyed the rib eye steak tacos. We only ordered appetizers and a couple of drinks. The drinks were delicious. The service and quality of food is there. We plan on coming back to tackle another portion of the menu. The food and drinks are fairly pricey, but the quality makes it worth the value. read more

Interesting night tonight. Rounded to 3 for Ambiance. We arrived for a 6PM Resie. Seated good. Put in a quick appetizer order while we looked at drinks. Immediately we got what ended up being the Ribs when we ordered the Pork Belly! But we were having a good night and it was yum, so no big deal. We ordered drinks, a mezcal flight and food. Fun time, but weirdly when we got our food - no service. Our waiter (who seemed to be a manager as he was running around all night) didn't seem to pass us off to anyone and nobody checked on us at all. Food arrived. Food ate. Drinks got empty. Nothing. We flagged down someone for our next drinks who seemed a little annoyed with us asking. Got them, but our finished plates weren't taken. It was about 7:15 when we had to ask someone for a Dessert menu, but the same waiter never came back. We sat there waiting for at least an ask for drinks or more food until about 7:40 - but by then decided to call it. We flagged another person down for the check, he took our sitting plates, and we paid. The food was delicious - great flavor all around. However, the service seemed like they wanted us to leave. We were ready for a fun night of drinks and good plates, but ended up surprised with little to no service after ordering an entree. Not sure if we will visit again after spending over $200. read more

I had the pleasure to celebrate our 15th anniversary here on Saturday night and was not disappointed. The host greeted us as soon as we walked in and had a great attitude which is a big plus! We waited for a couple minutes and got to enjoy the Christmas set up through out the restaurant. Our server greeted us quickly and stayed consistent throughout our entire dinner. Also, the bone marrow is a must have!! One of the best I've had in a while.I had the salmon and my husband the spare rib,both very delicious. The place isn't too big and there was a large party nearby so it was a bit noisy but still didn't take away from the experience. We will definitely be returning to try other menu items . We made a reservation for Mother's Day brunch, and had to pay $20 per person to reserve, not a problem. We arrived on time for our reservation but felt rushed because they said we would only have an hour, and was not told about the $45 minimum per person with a couple of choices and only two desserts to choose from, in which would not be an issue but when I reserved, email told me we had a dinner and brunch menu to choose from and did not say what the cost would be plus they added 20% gratuity to our bill for 3 people. The food was ok, the portions were not worth $45.00 so to say I will not go back to this establishment. read more

Pleasantly surprised! Hope this establishment has some longevity in Downtown Hayward! We had the rib eye, short ribs, salmon, and risotto, and all were delicious.
