Ate there last night. Good is always good and employees are nice. Only is their water. I ordered a glass of water with a lemon slice. The water tasted like iron Creek water. I got a bottled water after that. Employee said the filter was changes the day before but they need to have an up to date filtration system. read more

Went with some friends and had a quiet couples night for our first time here at CDN, it lived up to the hype. I ordered the Chicken Brunello and the sauce was amazing. Everyone at the table loved their meals. One of the appetizers we ordered had Yucca and sausage with veggies and was extremely crispy and tasty. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is due to the following (also no manicotti!). I tried my friends mozzarella stick and while I was impressed that it was homemade the cheese could have been melted more (it was a solid soft block). This was our first time ordering from CDN and it won't be our last. Our order was a To Go order and it was ready when I walked in the door. We ordered a large NY style pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni on the entire pie and added bacon to one half of it. They ended up putting extra on all of it and pepperoni on one half and bacon on the other half; but that was probably my bad for not explaining exactly what I wanted. We also ordered a cheese calzone with extra ricotta and ham as well as an Italian salad with balsamic vinaigrette. The pizza was very good so I'm looking forward to trying their white pizza next time. The salad was good as well but it was missing something - tomatoes or onions or something. It would have been really good had I been able to combine their antipasto with the Italian salad. However, the mozzarella cheese they put on the salad was delicious. I would ask for extra next if we get the salad again. Unfortunately, we didn't touch the calzone since we filled up on pizza and salad but if it's like the pizza and salad I have high hopes for it. This place is fantastic. The calamari is one of the best in the area, very light on the breading, and the marinara doesn't taste like it's from a jar. The pizza was delicious with very generous portions. The staff was very friendly and professional. We just found our new spot. read more

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the area and maybe even anywhere. They have true authentic, Italian food. They provide fantastic, friendly customer service with affordable, extremely delicious food. I have had their amazing pasta three different times (Salsicce Alla Napoletana twice & Spaghetti Carbonara) as well as their large 18" pizzas at least 4 different times and they never disappoint. My husband loved his cheesesteak and fries - both were incredibly fresh and not super greasy. I had sweet potato fries and gnocchi. First time visit under the new management. Food was bland, not down home Italian as I had hoped. The server was attentive, friendly and checked on us regularly without being annoying. Upon placing the check on the table, she asked us how everything was and noticed we did not eat the food and had asked for a box. She asked us what was wrong with the meal, we explained we were hoping for more flavor and although the food is not bad, it is okay. She immediately told the owner, who promptly came to the table and introduced himself - Bruno asked what he could make for us to replace what we had ordered. Offered dessert, could not have been nicer and truly concerned that we were not happy with our meal. Maybe the next time, we will try the pizza . . . Has been almost six months since my last visit here. The new owners tried to maintain the original "Squisito's" authentic Italian flavors. Changes were expected when ordering at the counter was replaced with wait-staff taking orders. Also expected was a bit hike in the prices. I was disappointed this go around when our carryout orders were much smaller in size, accompanied with only one slice of bread, and low taste quality. Waited forever for my food, needed a drink refill after 30 min. After 2 hours still no refill. Told the waitress when I ordered I wanted to place an order to go. WAITED-WAITED-WAITED. Finally my son went to get her. Then I ordered and WAITED-WAITED-WAITED. There 2 hours with no drink refill and waitress never returning to the table for anything!! Today my husband went to Casa Della Nonna for the first time, after a friend recommended this location to us. I am a Jersey girl, and LOVE pizza. Well, anyone from Jersey will agree with me when I say there is nothing, NOTHING like pizza from Jersey. I've been in Maryland for 20 years and have yet to find anything that comes close to Jersey-style pizza. Until now!! The pizza that my hubby brought home today was AMAZING! I suggest the chicken brunello and cream of crab if youre not sure what to try!Everything there is authentic home made italian food and theyve added a slight brazilian twist to the menu so your options just go on and on! Great date night spot! Very clean, quiet and family friendly. This place has become a new favorite of ours! My boyfriend and I came here for the second time Monday night after work for a nice quiet dinner and the food was superb! Our waitress was very nice and attentive the whole night. She refilled our drinks several times, was very polite with seating us right away, and the food came out fast and fresh! I recommend the bruschetta appetizer and the baked ziti. The pizza here is great -- we've enjoyed it several times after 'discovering' this place a few months back. Yesterday was the first time we dined in and tried the pasta, which measured up to the pizza -- It was terrific. We enjoyed the Mosticcioli al Arrabbiata (a little spicier than expected, but very good) with add-on meatballs (super good) and the special Fettuccini Mediterraneno (lovely pasta, great sauce, plenty of seafood -- shrimp, scallops and crabmeat). Portions were large for the price. Service was casual but very friendly and attentive. The only problem with Casa Della Nonna is location -- not out of the way, but somewhat tucked away, in an odd and quiet little strip mall. Best pizza ever, owners are great. I'm from Brazil, São Paulo and my entire family live in a Italian neighborhood, and there you can find the best pizza in the world. But after 10 years living in the US I finally found a same quality pizza, I highly recommend, all dishes are big and delicious, my wife had the nhoque with withe sauce and blue cheese and it was amazing. My friend ordered barbecue wings but the wings which looked like they had been re-fried came out with a side of barbecue sauce. Thought the sauce would be on the wings, sent those back. I'm bewildered by that one low review. I almost wonder if they got it confused with another place? We've been coming to Casa Della Nonna ever since it changed hands from Squisitos. We love it. My husband usually gets the chicken pasta dishes or spaghetti and meatballs, and I get the seafood della nonna. Everything is fresh, scrumptious, and you can tell the sauces are homemade. When I get a salad, I always ask for the house dressing- it's a nice balsamic vinaigrette. My sister and her family came in from Pittsburgh a few weeks back, and we took them there. She was really impressed with how good the food was for how cheap the price is. I never have to wait long for food. Staff is friendly. And I've enjoyed their daily pasta specials too- YUM! read more

We got carry out here recently. My husband picked up so I can't say anything about service, but the food was ok. My husband ordered chicken parm and his chicken was burnt all around the edges. I got the chicken Marsala and it was ok, not the best and a little bland but ok. The garlic bread felt a little stale. My son got the ravioli and that was great. My husband said the restaurant was nice and pretty busy, he got the sense that the food might have been a little better had we dined in. Came here awhile ago to eat. The food quality did not match the price and the service is horrible. We ordered a three topping large pizza and it came out before our drinks did. And when we did get our drinks, it was water instead of what we asked for. We got the check and were being charged for what we asked for, and never received. Got it straightened out at the register and also presented a check-in offer off of Yelp that they didn't honor. I would say this place has nothing going for it, unless you live nearby. I'm not a fan of Italian food but I was craving lasagna so stopped by and ordered lasagna. I've heard about this place before and since it's so close to where I live, I decided to try their homemade lasagna. I also ordered a couple other items to try out. I'm not easily impressed by any foods that are made with tomato sauce but their lasagna was good! Good amount of cheese melted over lasagna and plenty of meat sauce. Portion was a little small for the price but it tasted good so no complaints here. I would def come back and try different pastas they have. Staff were nice and friendly.
