Visiting my husband's mom out in Patterson today and she wanted Italian for dinner. I didn't think there were Italian restaurants in Patterson besides Pizza places so I search Google Maps and lo and behold we found Casa di Salvatore! Sunday late evening, the restaurant just had their dinner rush and we practically had the place to ourselves! The restaurant was set up simplistically but very nice decor and nice ambiance with lighting, candelabras on some tables, an organ with a tv screen showing photos of Greece! I'm totally impressed with the dinnerware, China! The server was absolutely wonderful and the food was amazing!!! The Alfredo sauce on the fettuccine could have been just a little thicker/creamier, the lasagna was to die for! I felt like I was back in Italy again. They have gelato for dessert but they also had tiramisu on the menu! Would definitely go back again. Compliments to the chef and staff!! I should have gotten the server's name but he was terrific!! Picked up 4 build your own pasta plates for my family and was very disappointed. The shrimp on 2 of the plates were so overcooked, they were shriveled up. The sauce on all 4 dishes was so thin it would just run off the pasta, it was almost as it if were watered down, not to mention, the pasta was also overcooked. I was excited about the bread that comes with the dishes, but that too was bland even though they look well seasoned. I had high hopes especially with how everything was priced but unfortunately we were all dissatisfied. I hope something can be learned from this, I truly would love for an amazing Italian food restaurant to thrive in Patterson. read more

Ordered via DoorDash so I unfortunately cannot comment on the ambiance. I ordered the Make Your Own pasta, choosing a fettuccine noodle base, Alfredo sauce and added shrimp for an additional $6. The pasta was cooked well, the sauce was decent though somewhat thin, and the shrimp held a LOT of flavor (absolutely my favorite part but bear in mind only 5 come with the order). While there wasn't any major issue with the flavor, I do think it's unfortunate they charge Bay Area pricing but don't give you Bay Area portions. Being honest, the portion IS ideal for a single serving though so I'm sure to some it may be worth it but for me personally I'm always on the lookout for a good deal when it comes to food. I also ordered the calamari appetizer and this was a disappointment all around. There was way too much breading on every piece of calamari, and it was overall such a small portion I feel ripped off. Add to that they put the minuscule amount of calamari on a bed of FRENCH FRIES which were not mentioned at all in the listing, it felt like I got charged for a good appetizer and was given cheap ingredients to fill me instead. I included a photo of what was listed for the calamari and a photo of what I received. You can clearly see they are nothing alike and in fact I received more fries than calamari. Would absolutely never order this again. Overall I give a 3 because of a portion size issue I have with the pasta and an overall issue with the cheap ingredients used for the calamari. I probably wouldn't order here again, at least not via DoorDash (especially because they are not on dashpass so I ended up paying over $50 for the TWO items I got from here). I would possibly consider eating in person only because I would absolutely send food back if they tried serving me this quality of calamari again. read more

Food is very good and plentiful. The Lobster Ravioli are wonderful. Our waitress did a great job and was very attentive.

Finally a legit Italian place in town. Nancy and her boys are always going there extra mile. Go to so far is a cutlet with either fettuccini or bolognese can't go wrong ! read more

I ordered the Alfredo and my noodles were overcooked. My fiancé ordered meat sauce and added shrimps. His noodles were cooked perfectly! Not sure why there was a discrepancy there. Since we went on a Sunday we got to choose a free soup or salad. Overall, I would go again but maybe try a different noodle and sauce combo. I really wanted to like this restaurant. Walked in and the decor was rather sparse, that's ok if the food is good. Descent menu ordered the Lobster raviolis wife ordered the Chicken parm. We did a Calamari appetizer. The appetizer was bland and the Calamari was like rubber. The raviolis didn't have any trace of Lobster just cheese. The meat sauce was ok hamburger no sausage the chicken parm was very large the spaghetti was just there and the Chicken was bland. The staff tried real hard I just left with a feeling of it was just eeh. I may try again someday but it's not my go too. Came to this restaurant for the first time yesterday and sitting down there was a good vibe and ambience for Patterson. I went with my family to order the mozzarella wedges, sausage as appetizers with a basket of bread that were DELICIOUS . For Entrées we ordered the lasagna, chicken Alfredo with shrimp, chicken Parm, beefsteak with vodka sauce. As we were waiting we noticed something crawling on the wall behind our table and seen it was an insect. Upon observation we realized it was a (Blattella germanica). My father was uncomfortable and did not eat his plate after all . I grabbed it with a napkin and showed our host wich was totally polite and respectful about the situation and apologized a million times, Also trying to make sure we were comfortable he proceeded to ask if we wanted to move to another table, I believe in second chances. I feel like this restaurant has lots of potential if that situation did not happen. The food was amazing the only draw back we had food wise that the beefsteak was a bit over cooked and chewy.Also I felt we should been compensated for something after the incident. As a business owner you should know the right thing to do in this situation. I paid full price for everything with no compensation for anything, not even an apology from MANAGER or OWNER only the AMAZING WAITER WE HAD. read more

We went early so there was no crowd. Service was great. My husband had the cream of asparagus soup and I had fettuccine à la vodka with chicken cutlets. We also asked for bread. It was all very delicious and the menu is simple. I don't really have any complaints of the food and service. The reason I don't give 5 stars is that the food and place is just simple.
