I live nearby and have seen this place before so we decided to stop by and we do not regret it! We have the brigaderio cake, the Brazilian carrot cake, brigaderio bites, and we tried a few others. We aren't Brazilian but the staff was super friendly and answered all of our questions and tried their best to understand even if their English wasn't good. This place blows the Pompano Brazilian bakeries out of the water. Casa Do Pão is perfect, offering salads, sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, cakes, pastries, breads and much more. The coxinha, empanadas, pão de queijo, empadão de frango, pudim de leite - so delish! Everything can be eaten in or to-go. They have refrigerators with take and bake meals, perfect for dropping by after work. All the menus are in English, so you don't feel alienated if you don't speak Portuguese. The cakes look phenomenal, decorated meticulously with fruit, chocolate, dulce de leche, etc. They also carry a few Brazilian products, (particularly easter eggs because it's that time of year). Overall this is a great hit! I will definitely be frequenting here, although its a bit far from me, it's totally worth the drive. read more

My dad has been raving about this place for the past few months. He's a big foodie and loves trying new foods from different cultures. This place was definitely different from what I was expecting, but it was definitely a good different! Majority of the people (both employees and customers) spoke only Portuguese and English was hardly spoken. However, that didnt stop us from jumping in line, looking like fools, and ordering the first thing we saw. We went with the Sandwiches for lunch, I had the #12 and I think pops had the #2(?)- either way, we were both content with the quality and the price (cheap)! A friend of mine has been telling me about this place for sometime now. I maintained skepticism because he usually has lousy taste when it comes to restaurants or any eatery for that matter. As I entered this establishment I found the employees to be very polite and willing to assist me. The cakes were not that great but the pastries and hot items were very affordable and super delicious . When I say fresh.....I mean fresh ! Just such a great find for anyone who is looking for a great , different and appeasing then please try this place . First, I had no idea there was a Brazilian community in the Boca Raton area. Then I saw all the businesses and this place, and I figured out why. I came here after work on a Friday around 5:40 and it was still pretty busy. Keep in mind this is in a strip mall and parking spaces can be a little difficult to find. Once you enter, there's baked goods conveniently prepackaged and frozen meals in a cooler. How it works is that you line up at the left hand side and receive a numbered placard, then work your way down to the cashier area. The menu above the counters only listed the sandwiches and smoothies, I was a little disappointed there weren't any names or prices listed for the pastries etc in the display counters, but the staff was more than helpful to explain what each item was. I had a giant croquette with ground beef and I believe potato? I also had what was like a pan de bono and a bread with grated coconut and filled with Bavarian Creme. All 3 came to be under $5. In the future I'll try their other pastries and maybe a sandwich or salad. read more

This small Brazilian bakery is definitely a place you want to try at least once. This place has authentic Brazilian goodies. Back in the day, this place was amazing! Everything was always so fresh. The breads, the desserts, the pastries..everything. You could order any random pastry or cake, etc. and it would taste so yummy. I'm from Brazil so I know good Brazilian food when I have it. This place just doesn't do it for me anymore. They are going down the drain unfortunately. When you walk in there is a line by the cashier which you can usually see when there's people in line but if not you just walk up to the cashier and usually they'll take your order. Now, after ordering it's very hard to get the attention of staff to ask for condiments, plastic ware and whatnot. It gets really messy when it's busy and it can be very frustrating. The food, especially the coxinhas are not what they used to be. They used to be fresh, delicious chicken coxinhas and now they are usually cold on the inside, the chicken tastes off like old, and it's not fresh. So I gave up coming here for coxinhas and other pastries. I started coming just for the acai bowl but whenever I come I feel like they rush making the bowl. They either but too much sweet sauce or just make it plain messy. It's not what it used to be and I always have to return the acai bowl and ask them to make another with less sweet sauce or with more sweet sauce whatever the case is. Now I go to aerojuice for my acai bowls and they are amazing! Same ingredients, clean, and delicious! Three stars because if my good friend wanted to come here I'd probably come and order a little snack because it's not that bad but I won't ever choose to go here or go out of my way for this place. read more

I was really disappointed. The food is A-ok. Service is friendly but their system of ordering is a little confusing and disorganized, the place is tiny and feels cramped, almost claustrophobic. What really surprised me was how dirty the floors were and the entire place really didn't feel clean to me. Also, WTF is wrong with some customers?? They don't clean after themselves by returning their empty baskets and making room for other customers to sit, are IN YOUR FACE and seemed very rude to the employees. Kinda ghetto! Love this bakery! I always get the Green Suco Verde juice and the Chicken Salad. The price is amazing. Since this restaurant is so close to my home, I come here on a weekly basis. Casa do Pao is one of the best bakeries in South Florida. And if it weren't for the managers awful treatment of her employees in front of the customers it would be a five star review. Seeing the manager treat the employees this awfully in front of the customers, I can only imagine what she would say or do in the back where the customers can't see. I hate supporting a business that has such poor values of the people who are keeping the business running. This store would not operate without them and they are always so nice when I come in that it makes me sad to see them treated this way. I noticed there were no name tags so I had to ask an employee for the managers name, and her name is Marcia. I felt secondhand embarrassment for the employees present during her tantrum and according to one of the employees that I asked about her this happens all the time. It's interesting that this business "so close to god" could treat other humans so badly. read more

Assisting my friend who is a resident celebrating her significant others birthday, I stumbled upon this amazing Brazilian bakery. Oh what a joy. Such a pleasant surprise. The staff had outstanding service to accomodate our last minute rush for a nirthday cake. Not only did they provide a description of each freshly made cake with enthusiaum, the mouth watering decelant aromas engulfed the room. The evening wouldn't have been a success without this addition. All of his guest praised how great the cake was and wanted to know where this hidden gem is located. While visiting I had the chocolate passionfuit moose cup which if it was any indication of what the cake was going to taste like. I knew we were in for a treat.
