It's not extremely pricey, but it feels Odd to me to pay an extra .20 cents for a normal plastic cup, .+75 centra for non whole milk, or .75 cents my sandwich to be made as marketed. Again not a huge deal because it's each less than a dollar but just seems extreme.

The interior is reminiscent of cafes we visited in Italy: clean lines, good lighting, elegant tile and wood accents. It's a stylish place, with comfortable seating indoors and around both sides of the exterior. Service was very friendly and responsive. I did try to order a country biscuit (since there was one displayed in the pastry case), but was told they did t make them. The barista told our counter worker that there were some in the fridge/freezer but that didn't find one for us - disappointing, but I didn't really need it anyway, and did just plan on getting a coffee, but still... You can tell a lot about the quality of a coffee shop from a basic drink of either hot or iced coffee. The iced did not disappoint! It's robust without a hint of over-roasting; strong but not bitter. The large is a generous size, and the cup was coffee with a bit of cream (and not the reverse as happens in a few places). So, no star deducted for my missing biscuit. I'm looking to coming back to try that biscuit AND a breakfast sandwich - they looked amazing when I saw them being served up at the counter!

Each time i have been impressed by whomever helps me. This most recent experience was with Lizzy and Kelly and they were so amazing! I couldn't have had a better experience. You can tell they both really care about customer interactions, creating quality beverages and making each visit special for customers. What a great coffee shop! Horrible customer service…read more My wife and I ordered Avocado toasts (which were fine), which was listed on the menu above the counter as $6.99, but we were charged $7.99. When I asked about why we were charged more, I was simply told by the person at the counter that that was the price listed on the tablet they were using and that the menu above the counter must be out of date. I'm much less concerned about the overcharge $2 ($1 per order) than the attitude toward the customer evidenced by the person at the counter and, especially, the management, who should keep the menu above the counter up-to-date and instruct the staff to honor posted prices. I don't expect anyone to don sack-cloth and ashes over the overcharge, but someething like, "Oh, I'm sorry. We need to change the menu. I'll refund you two dollars" would have been nice. Posting a price and then charging a higher one, in addition to probably being a violation of deceptive trade practice law, is dishonest.

There's only about six tables but we like sitting outside because it's like six picnic tables out there and lots of seeds even though it's on the main street it's really not that bad. It's right across from a bus stop with the buses pull in turn around and go back out. It is kind of a busy street. We know that today but it doesn't seem overly busy. Just make sure you cross in the crosswalk type of thing. It's right up the street from assisted living and from the ocean you can grab sandwiches and stuff and eat there down the street and sit on little benches on the water and have your lunch and see the boats and stuff floating out in the harbor it's really very nice quiet beautiful location.

However, the fruity pebbles on top were a little stale. My husband had the passionfruit cupcake and he enjoyed it. Cakelicious also sells hot food. Though we didn't try it this time, it did look good and I would want to try it next time. There are a few tables inside and we were the only ones at the store.
