Horrible customer service. My wife and I ordered Avocado toasts (which were fine), which was listed on the menu above the counter as $6.99, but we were charged $7.99. When I asked about why we were charged more, I was simply told by the person at the counter that that was the price listed on the tablet they were using and that the menu above the counter must be out of date. I'm much less concerned about the overcharge $2 ($1 per order) than the attitude toward the customer evidenced by the person at the counter and, especially, the management, who should keep the menu above the counter up-to-date and instruct the staff to honor posted prices. I don't expect anyone to don sack-cloth and ashes over the overcharge, but someething like, "Oh, I'm sorry. We need to change the menu. I'll refund you two dollars" would have been nice. Posting a price and then charging a higher one, in addition to probably being a violation of deceptive trade practice law, is dishonest. read more

This is a new favorite coffee place out-of-the-way here in Warwick, Rhode Island. We discovered it through a yelp event for sandwich's. We now try to come back as often as you can when we are in town today we had time after my hubby's doctors appointment so we stopped in and grabbed coffee and a sandwich. they're tuna fish is fantastic. The service is spot on people are greeted when they in the door. They explain what they have. So we never really have to question what it is. They also tell you what specials they have going on today whether it be coffee or a sandwiches, etc. It's small inside. There's only about six tables but we like sitting outside because it's like six picnic tables out there and lots of seeds even though it's on the main street it's really not that bad. It's right across from a bus stop with the buses pull in turn around and go back out. It is kind of a busy street. We know that today but it doesn't seem overly busy. Just make sure you cross in the crosswalk type of thing. It's right up the street from assisted living and from the ocean you can grab sandwiches and stuff and eat there down the street and sit on little benches on the water and have your lunch and see the boats and stuff floating out in the harbor it's really very nice quiet beautiful location. read more

I always look forward to the beverages from the Presto Strange O Coffee Truck, whether they are at a daytime event or nighttime event. Yay to caffeine all day! I love that they offer dairy and non dairy options. For non-dairy, I often see almond, oat and soy. Their whipped cream is dairy so make sure to ask for none if you are non-dairy. My favorite beverages are the Lucky Charm Latte, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte and Vanilla Taro Latte. The Lucky Charm hasn't been as popular so it's off the special boards right now. It was my summer go-to at the flea. Something about marshmallows made it addicting, I swear. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a cinnamon bun latte with added cereal in the base and on top. I wouldn't say it taste exactly like the milk from the bowl but it's pretty close. The Vanilla Taro Latte is exactly as it sounds. Their taro is perfectly sweetened and very enjoyable! Due to COVID, they currently only sell one size: large. I normally get the small but I don't mind the large. I always gulp it down in less than 10 minutes haha. I haven't tried their other drinks or snacks yet. I heard the lemonades are great! read more

My first experience was at a food truck event and they had LAVENDER LEMONADE! Besides that being awesome - the staff were totally chill and you can tell really enjoy what they do and who they serve which I think makes their products stand out! Then WAIT!!! They opened a local shop and ever since they have, I actually prefer their shop than the local chain because they are consistent, creative with their menu, super friendly - but not the fake friendly, actually sincere and genuine with every contact they make. I recently tried their Lavender Tea- OMG! Highly recommend their dirty chai and their Vietnamese coffee and it is delicious and never "burnt" like I've had with some local chains. Had an cookie ice cream sandwich from here tonight at the Food Truck Friday Festival at Roger Williams. I'm not sure where the ice cream and / or cookie was from, but it was so good. The vanilla ice cream was so creamy and the perfect amount. The cookies were M&M chocolate chip and the perfect consistency and thickness to hold the ice cream. I don't drink coffee, but even their non-coffee options sounded delicious. Will definitely give one a try in the future. read more

Where to begin.... I am fortunate enough to have this AMAZING coffee truck outside of my workplace once a week, and boy did I wish it was more! The owners Jay & Jess are two of the most inviting people you will ever meet, which definitely helps to keep you coming back. Bought an ice coffee and a egg/cheese croissant sandwich and was a bit disappointed. The ice coffee was good, but the croissant was bread-like and not flaky, and the egg was one of those sad generic yellow patties. I was hoping for a fresh fried egg, boo hoo. Friendly, good looking menu. Ordered both the lemonade and a lavender lemonade.. I tasted no difference between to 2.. So either they messed up and gave 2 regular or, the lavender had no flavor. The other let down was that it definitely did not taste like fresh squeezed. To their defense I guess it did only say " lemonade" on the menu.. But you would think, for 3$ it wouldn't just be from a mix. read more

Presto Strange O is a coffee truck with decent coffee and friendly services. I've tried their iced and hot coffee so far and although it wasn't the best coffee I've had, it wasn't bad in a pinch. The girl who has worked the truck both times I've gone was very nice and friendly. I tried the "nitro" iced coffee which was very interesting. I thought the hot coffee was a little overpriced but it was worth it at the time when I needed a pick-me-up. I would definintely get coffee here in the future and maybe I'll try a dirty chai next time I see the truck around. I'd like to see how their chai tastes. read more
