Salsa was good, better than Arturos, El Charro Norte, or El Paraiso. So was the food. Great service! I don't remember our server's name. I wish! She was so friendly and totally makes you feel at home and comfortable. She was actually genuinely funny too. It was taco Tuesday. My son and I ordered tacos and my husband ordered a Carne Asada burrito. Their carne asada is very good and flavorful! We enjoyed our tacos too. Came to Casa Grande with 4 family members, we all ordered different combo plates. I ordered a #1-cheese enchilada with onion and extra enchilada sauce, and a taco. When the food came out, the waitress gave my plate to someone else who had special ordered an item which took a little longer to prepare. That plate was given to me. The person who got my plate was almost done with it when I got her plate. The waitress, wanting to make it right offered to discount my plate or make me another, so I ordered a cheese enchilada with onion and extra enchilada sauce. By then everyone at my table was ready to go so I took my enchilada in a to go container. It had no onion or extra enchilada sauce, by the way. Not a great dining experience at Casa Grande, the couple of bites I did manage to get were disappointedly bland. No point in going back! read more

Had the best taco salad ever!!!! We had not been to CG in a long time and I was craving a taco salad. Most Mexican restaurants in Prescott have not met the expectation with this salad. Went last night and had a wonderful meal. It is off the main road and there were around 20 people at 7:00 pm on a Thursday. I had the chicken and steak fajitas. They were fantastic. Friend had chicken enchiladas which he said were great. The service was friendly and the brought us multiple bowls of chips. Would have liked the beans to have cheese on them. It was dark so I can't speak to the exterior, but the inside was a little old but clean. Great find. Must go. read more

They were able to seat 10 of us at 10 in the morning for breakfast without a problem. The service was prompt and the waitress took our order almost immediately upon being seated. I will say the food took a minute to come out, but that's likely due to our party size. The salsa was good, as was the rice and beans. The Chile Verde had huge chunks of pork and was very flavorful! We loved this place. But this time we had the worse service. Waitress with green hair smh. I ordered my side of fries with mustard. After my fries arrived she informed me they didn't have mustard. I asked her to take it back. She said she couldn't. We asked for the manager who came by and took the fries and took it off the receipt. Then our waitress never came to check on us again. I had to go to the counter three times. I ordered a side of beans to go hoping I can eat a little before leaving. I watched the waitress carry my to-go beans to three different tables avoiding our table. When we finally went up to pay she handed me my beans. She then started to apologize for the bad service and we confronted her about her behavior. She got angry and said out loud "WELL AT LEAST YOU GOT YOUR REFUND!" We have a regular group the has been going to this place consistently on Tuesdays for years. We normally have anywhere from 4 to 12 people. Last night 3 of the 7 people coming asked to be seated. They were then told there was a new rule and they could not be seated until everyone was there. So, they waited while looking at a empty tables. Finally a person says to go ahead and sit down but, one of the party asked about the new rule? With that the person then told them no... you can't sit there. With that, we were kind of shocked by the poor treatment. We decided to take our business to a place that appreciates it. This restaurant apparently places little value on the loyalty of their customers. We will go elsewhere from this point forward. We all give our usual waitress Stephanie 5 stars, but the rest of the place, not so much. read more

I had been here probably 4 or 5 times in the past year & really liked it. That is until this last time about 2 weeks ago. We sat in the booth to the left of the entrance to the restrooms with my wife sitting with her back to the wall. As we were eating she felt something on her arm & swiftly hit it. It was a cockroach. It fell to the floor & I stepped on it immediately. I then went to the register & reported what happened & showed them it's dead body still under the table.
