Its a good location. Bathroom was clean and customer service was great! Food was alright... Could be better.

Tonight was very disappointing. The menus smelled like had been washed with a dirty cloth. Food was mediocre. The staff was different. Had I went to restroom prior to eating. I would not have eaten there. The ladies restroom toilet was running over. In floor. Husband stated that men's restroom had dried stool on toilets. The service was terrible. We waited about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We had to keep asking for more chips and salsa and the food was very very hot so we know the microwave works but the tortilla shell was very soggy. However, the queso was good. I been going here since it first opened several years ago. My family and I have made friends with the waitstaff who are very friendly. Lately there has been some turnover as to the waitstaff though. Only a few of the waiters that I like are still there. Some of the newer ones don't speak very good English. The food is pretty average, but I like the atmosphere and service here than any other Mexican restaurant in the area. read more

Love this place! I moved here from TX and was really nervous about what to expect in the form of Mexican food here, and I was pleasantly surprised! They have a large, extensive menu, and good prices. Especially at lunch! Where else can you get a taco salad on Mondays for $3.50???? And it actually tastes GREAT! A few of my fav dishes here...... Chicken and chorizo fajitas (not listed on the menu but they will make them) Chili Rellenos Chili Poblano Tamales and, drumroll please...... CHURROS!!! They are delicious, and they add whipped cream and a cherry! YUM! I can only think of one downfall - if there is a large group in the bar area, and you are not drinking - your service will suck. Looking forward to a mexican dinner and it was right next to our hotel. We were seated quickly, chips and salsa came right away. However, our waiter was the reason for 2 stars. We waited 15 minutes or so for him to take our order. Then after waiting another 40 minutes and still not receiving our food we were moving on. We had asked him three times about the delay in our food and he said it was coming. We watched others that were seated after us getting their food, but not us. The final time we asked about the delay in our food, he just said oh well. That was the final straw for us. Other reviews were good so we tried it, not again. read more

I've been going to this restaurant at this site for years.. we celebrate birthdays there, lunches and dinner. I have dropped a lot of cash there and I can't complain about the food or the service. However today we ate lunch there on the patio and the big cool fountain they use to have running was off my son kept running over to it telling me we needed to come see the bird in the fountain. Finally after we finished we walked over and found one dead bird floating in a sea of absolute filth and another who was injured hanging on the sides. We tried our best to get the live one out but couldn't so we informed the staff. They went outside with a few napkins to try to rescue an injured bird? I'm sure as soon as we left they just left that bird out there to die. The fountain was disgusting and probably full of malaria or some other exotic disease... and it disgusted me that we were eating right next to it and didn't know. read more

Casa Grande is la mierda!...in a good way. Nothing fancy, just your typical Americanized Mexican food joint but it's a great deal, open late, and they have giant, I'm talking GIANT margaritas, for like 10 bux! I think they have Margarita Wednesdays where they're only a few bucks each but I always manage to miss out. I've been here a few times but my best and extremely memorable visit was when a friend and I went there for an impromptu celebration of her birthday after a good workout at the gym. Def the best way to rehydrate is with margaritas the size of your head...literally. The food was cheesy and well-priced. The helpings are hefty enough to allow for leftovers. The best part was that for her bday she got a free shot of tequila, was donned with a huge sombrero, serenaded in Spanish as they drummed on her head, and finally received a spoonful of whipped cream in her face. Can you say awesome?! I couldn't stop laughing! Plus the fresh guac is to die for. I will def be going back and bringing others to spread the Mexican joy. read more

Best Mexican food in all of Salisbury. From the filling and delicious chips-n-salsa that they always start you off with, to the various enchiladas, fajitas, tacos, nachos, etc.....it's all very tasty. A particular favorite of mine is their chicken soup. It is out of this world. I hold back a star because lately their prices have gone up a touch and the quantity of food has gone down a little, at least as far as what I noticed the last time I was there and had the soup. I've only tried 2 things here. The carne asada tacos were pretty good. Can't remember the name of the other dish I had but it was shrimp, squash, zucchini, white queso, onions, & cilantro and it was so freakin good I wish I knew what it was called. This is my FAVORITE restaurant. The food is great, service is fantastic, and it's very affordable. As soon as you are seated, which does not take long, they bring you chips & salsa so you can snack, relax and not be hungry while waiting for your entree'. The entire staff if very friendly and make you feel like you are most important. My favorite entree' is the Quesadilla Texana and appetizer is Seafood dip. The employees of Casa Grande are nice. The food is good. The atmosphere needs improvement. While the patio roof was upgraded, there is plenty of room for management to allow musicians to come in (who want to get their music heard for free) to entertain dining guests, outdoors. Lighting outdoors can also be upgraded simply by adding colorful strands of christmas lights that rope around the enclosed area to give more atmosphere. The fountain should be upgraded to add colorful lighting. The music indoors is often too low for diners to hear it and enjoy it. There is a bar, but no particular bartender which means, customers have to wait longer to be served. "Management" doesn't seem too interested in bringing in entertainment even though there is a hotel next door and people from out of state often look for the closest place to eat and have mixed drinks. Casa Grande could stay open later hours on friday and saturday night for customers whom are looking for a warm and inviting place to "hang out" with their friends. Casa Grande has warm , friendly employees...but the feeling of atmostphere just isn't there. "Management" doesn't seem to care about making any adjustments or upgrades in the atmostphere department . Casa Grande could become more popular with out of state customers as well as the locals if upgrades and changes in attitude were made about how management viewed their customers. Casa Grande has a bar....so why not use that to their advantage ? Also the televisions stay on channels that don't often relate to many of the customers coming into Casa Grande. Each channel on the televisions should be on different channels to offer customers something different. They brought in new televisions...but don't use them to their advantage. Put a channel on "MTV".......a music channel. Put another one on a football channel and then another one on news "HLN" or CNN. There is a wide variety of customers walking into Casa Grande....but few whom return as repeat customers because management doesn't seem to either care or is interested in making some changes. If the management is tired of what it is they are doing... then they should elect someone else to be in their stead while they spend more time away from Casa Grande and the owner should pay more attention to the needs/desires of the customers. On Friday and saturday nights, people need a place to hang out later at night. They like to drink when they hang out. Staying open longer hours would allow Casa Grande to earn more revenue. If management doesn't want to stay longer hours... then they should elect someone else whom is responsible to stay those later hours and that would resolve that problem. Regarding atmosphere...louder music, entertainment , and a nicer look/feel would be an improvement and would probably increase revenue as well. read more

Absolutely the best Mexican food around. Prices are extremely reasonable. Their salsa and chips are to die for. Often I get an order of the salsa to take home for us to enjoy.In 2009 my husband and I traveled to San Antonio and went to a long standing Mexican family owned restaurant in the Mercado. I had been there many times before while on business trips and I wanted my husband to experience their wonderful food. He was ecstatic about the wonderful choice I had made for him. While walking back to the Riverwalk he said that the Casa Grande restaurant in Salisbury emulated this particular restaurant to a T. It's also nice that when we go there the staff recognizes us and my family whenever we visit. You won't go away hungry!! read more
