Disappointed today. Normally we come on Sunday evening and we order a house margarita. The special is $1.99 for a house margarita on Sunday. Tonight our bill charged us $6 per margarita. We asked the server about the charges pointing out the special to which he responded that would be for a small. We did not order a different size but only ordered a hose margarita. Seems dishonest to bring something other than the special on a day when house margaritas are $1.99. I don't like feeling cheated nor feeling like a switch was made and because of that we won't be back. We love the food and the service (other than dishonesty) and what was normally our every Sunday place will no longer be that. read more

So so so good!! My absolute favorite part of this place is the service - they are top notch and incredibly sweet. The food is amazing and the portion sizes make it a great value. My go to is the tacos lunch special with chicken and corn tortillas (best $7 meal ever). The patio is awesome for a nice day too. read more

Went for Taco Tuesday. Had the Shedded beef tacos and they were wonderful. Our waiter was very nice and kept our glasses full. Worth visiting.. will definitely return to try other dishes. read more

Fast, attentive service...fast turn around in the kitchen--food arrived fast...very nice, fresh atmosphere and clean setting...unfortunately the food was a bit on the cool side...and the plate was soupy...both the burrito and tamale were packed with delicious shredded chicken...beans were flavorless but the rice was wonderful and spiced perfectly, next time I'll ask for no beans but double the rice... welcoming chips and salsa were great... would have given 4-stars if not for soupy plate, and cool food.. read more

1st time in.....man everything was great! My wife is very finicky about her salsa. We asked for the mild...wonderful flavor! I had the shrimp quesadillas and the wife had the special, two burritos and sides for $7.99. The place was sparkling new and the staff was all decked out in new uniforms. I finally gave Casa Mexico a try today. I ordered their all cheese enchiladas platter. Service was quick and friendly. I enjoyed the margarita. I didn't appreciate the cheese in the enchiladas not being completely melted. Rancho Grande takes the win. I will try the chorizo next time. read more

Service and food was okay. I ordered a frozen margarita and received a bad tasting, water downed drink. It had no sweetness to it and tasted like grated lemon rine. They said it was because I ordered a frozen one and blending the ice waters it down. I then got one that was not frozen (or what they call frozen) it still had a bad taste, just not watered down. read more

Saw the signs for a New Mexican place in Blue Springs and had to try it. Terribly bland food. We had a combo appetizer, chili rellano, and chimichanga. The breading on the chili wasn't even cooked. All the food had very little flavor, including the salsa and the sauce in the enchiladas. The steak in my chimichanga was tough and tasted like it'd been sitting for quite a while. Quesadilla might have been cooked in the microwave. There certainly weren't any marks on it from a stove or grill. The tortilla was soggy. Don't waste your money. read more

This was our first visit. It won't be our last....but we had some issues. I am a Californian and I love good Mexican food and good service . We ordered Modelos. A young server brought us chips and salsa. So far so good. I ask for HOT salsa. Muy caliente. He said ok. It never came. I ask our server twice and finally it came. We ordered the $5.99 queso. I told the server to bring the queso but hold up on dinner as we wanted to relax. Within minutes he brought the queso....AND our dinners. I told him we ask him to hold dinner after we ate the chips/salsa/queso. He just set our plates down and left. The queso was horrible. Watery and tasteless. Since it was the delux queso, we assumed it would have something but watery cheese in it. Don't waste your $6. Dinner was delicious. I had a carnitas burritos. Very tasty. My husband had a combo...tamale, enchilada.....he said it was a 6-7 if he was rating it. My burrito was a 9. The queso a 0. Even tho the servers almost run from spot to spot.....I was very disappointed I had to wait 15 minutes before I got to eat my chips/salsa. We want to support this restaurant - and to bring our family there - but the charming servers have to listen to their patrons. It was a disappointing even to say the least. This place was not good. We came to this place on a Thursday with a party of 8 people. First off, we were all out of drinks quickly and didn't receive a refill for quite a while. We had to hunt someone down and ask another waiter for a refill. We had two meals come out way before everyone else's. Then when everyone else's meal came out, those two people were finished. They forgot to put my order in completely and gave another member of our party the wrong meal. When I finally got my steak tacos, the steak was so hard I couldn't put a fork through it. The only reason I gave it two stars is because all the other members of my party said their food was good. I would not suggest it. Side note, we only got 1 refill the whole time we were there. This is a great place! Anything with the carnitas is my favorite, but I've never had anything here that I didn't like. Make sure to try the nachos, too. The margaritas were very mild, weak and watered, and the food was bland, nothing special, and the chicken in the fajita burrito was over cooked. Overall after our first visit here, it wasn't horrible, but it's not enough to get a second visit. The service was excellent though! read more
