I called Casa Moreno apartments to schedule a tour and ask about availability. Majilin, the on site manager, was very attentive, professional, and friendly from the start. Even though there was no availability, Majilin was kind enough to offer me a tour of the site grounds. On the outside, the apartments look very well maintained and the residents seemed very friendly. It was very reassuring to see that there are several working security cameras around the building to keep the residents safe. It was very quiet and peaceful during my visit. Was by mere chance that I was able to get a spot here at Casa Moreno. I had been looking for months but anyways they have pretty straightforward policies. Common sense rules, covered and uncovered parking, laundry on site, gated, pool, they have it all except a fitness center (gyms are all local). Jessica R. is the manager I interacted with the entire process and she is nothing short of excellent. She had the patience to explain everything and answer all of my questions. She even gave me a move in gift. They allow pets as long as they are under 20 pounds and the best part is that the complex is usually calm and quiet. I have not sensed any bad vibes from any of the tenants, and Jessica is usually on top of all departments if tenants have concerns regarding repairs, etc. The apartments are well kept, I have yet to see an area flooded with trash or graffiti like I have seen at other places. You can tell when people make an effort to make a place stand out and it's well appreciated. Overall, I'm glad I ended up here. I like peace and quiet after a long days work, and I get that here. People respect other people's privacy, big one for me. So yes, the apartments as well as the awesome manager, are well worth the 5 stars. read more

Casa Moreno is a recommendable apartment complex. I moved in in April 2015 and my experience has been pretty pleasant for the most part. The Manager, Jessica, is on top of her game. She is very attentive and makes sure things get done around the facilities. If you have a complaint or concern she addresses it as soon as possible. If you call the office and do not leave a voice message she will still call you back due to caller ID. All the neighbors mind their own business, but be aware of a creepy older man on the first floor of Building B. Other than him, everyone is ok I guess. The kids aren't much of a nuisance but they do get their fill of playing outdoors during the summer time and if that is a problem for you, then you have been warned. I like that the laundry facilities are open 24/7 and that parking is no issue within the property. There is plenty of parking available for tenants, but it is up to you to determine if you are willing to pay the fee for extra parking. If you select street parking, then yes, there is an issue, but that is up to you. I also enjoy that these are pet friendly apartments. The cons: because these are pet friendly apartments there are some tenants who do not pick up after their pets and are not on watch when they let them out for a while, so on occasion you may find a little surprise as you walk through the property. There is also a stray cat problem and sometimes they too leave a little surprise here and there, even worst is that on occasion they leave it on your doormat. I really wish the maintenance guy was more attentive when this occurs. It is not the responsibility of the tenant, in my opinion, to clean up a mess left by a stray cat! These apartments are aged but they are in the best shape they can be...maintenance was also a little sloppy in installing linoleum floor in my unit's bathroom and the toilet is a little loose.... I do not know if there are any units with a roach problem, but my unit has been roach free and it does help that we keep the place tidy. read more

We lived there for 3 years, the place is great and well kept but if you live downstairs you can hear every little noise from upstairs, especially if there are kids. Jessica is friendly, efficient BUT COLD. It"s all business. We had to move out because they kept increasing the rent every 6 months, we left the place impeccable yet they took $400.00 out of our $600.00 deposit to paint the whole place!!! read more

I moved in here a year ago and I will be now moving out let me start off by saying this place is one of the best apartments I have ever stay at if I wasn't moving in to a house I would stay here because it's always quiet, no one messes with you. Currently living here the place is very clean and well kept neighbors are friendly and helpful. But this place is not rent controlled every year it goes up in price and its $100 difference I started living here in 2014 paying $1100 for a one bedroom, then in 2015 it went up to $1245 because they painted the outside now 2016 I pay $1300 still a one bedroom. And to make matters worse parking is a nightmare when you sign the contract you are assigned a parking space but neighbors will not respect that and they will park in your spot or behind you making it impossible to leave at times. The worse part is that the manager doesn't tow the cars so you are left excepting the fact that you're screwed. Definitely moving out as soon as we find a new place. So if your looking for a place to stay for a yr or two this is a good place but not for a long term. read more

The Manager Jessica is very friendly all the time , when I moved in she showed me everything works and make a note of things that needed attention. The work was done right away . I moved into Casa Moreno Apartments in August of 2015 and I am very happy to say I have absolutely LOVED my time as a tenant here. The apartment complex manager, Jessica, has always been so professional, accommodating, and one of the best apartment managers I have ever rented from. This apartment complex is always clean, well maintained, super nice units, and Jessica is always available for any issue a renter may face. My Husband and I have been living at Casa Moreno for a year and two months now. I love how quite it is and everything is walking distance. You need a gallon of milk the market is less than a block away. Right from the start Jessica the building manager has been absolutely wonderful. Warm welcoming feeling right when you walk in to her office. She answered all my questions before even really having ask. It's as if she knew what our concerns were. The staff are always friendly with a smile and hello. Like everything there are a few bad things. Parking is a hassle if you have more than one car to get an extra parkinh spot it's $40 a month for it. At first was $25 but went up. I did not want pay it at first but my husband said we needed due there being really no parking in the afternoon at front of our building and having our son walk fare to car in the morning when it's raining it would be best to keep the extra parking spot abd pay. An other thing I don't like is how our fellow neighbors with pets fail to clean up after their furry pets. We live on the second floor and never fails when I company come over there is always fesse and the walk way up stairs as we go to my apartment. And right at the to of the stairway there is yellow urine stans. I know the walk ways are cleaned once a week but the other days I have to careful non of walk in them so I get it into our home. I understand pets sometimes can't make all the way down to go but if you see you pet can't get a bag and pick it up. The pee okay get a cup with water and pour it on it so it runs down. I love pets but we don't have one for that reason we live on the second floor and don't want to cleaning after a pet that does their business in the walk way. We live in building B and there are always pets loss to wounder every where which is nice for the pets but not for the ones with a fear of dogs. There cats all the time on the lower level which keeps rodantes away but their business does not smell great first thing in the morning as you walk to your car. But as I said nothing is 100% perfect I say it's 95% perfect. I enjoy living here and I am very grateful to Jessica and her staff for all they do to make feel like home as soon as you walk through tge door to meet them. read more

Here in Casa Moreno the tenants are very friendly and helpful. They have a selection of 1BR or 2BR and even some with a patio so you can have your furry friend run around! The apartment comes with an air conditioner, stove and oven ready for use! The only utilities you need to take care of is gas and light and whatever extras you might want like Internet or tv! Miguel, our maintenance person is an extremely friendly person and is ALWAYS happy to help with any problems you may encounter. Jessica our property manager is also a friendly person who will also help you with ANY questions or concerns you may have. She was there for every step of the way to insure us that we would get an apartment. Most of all of the tenants here don't really see her as a property manager but as a friend who will help you with whatever problem you may encounter here in Casa Moreno. read more

moved in here from Columbus, Ohio couple of months back...very nice place with 2 swimming pools. 1) Spacious place with lots of kitchen cabinets. 2) Staffs (Jessica Rodriguez - Resident Manager & Miguel Sanchez -Maintenance Technician) are friendly and very professional. 3) Prompt response to even smaller maintenance problems. 4) Although neighborhood is not that bad at all, the apartment is very secured with gated entry for 24/7. 5) And last but not the least, rent is pretty much competitive considering the area; 1125 per month for 1 bedroom hall kitchen with a spacious closet room. read more

Roach infestation apts high rates $1,445.00 for a one bedroom, ridiculous!! Manager never disclosed roach issue. I did speak to Manager Rodriguez today. She is professional and polite like other's have described and thus far I don't have any other complaints besides the roach issue, But she offered me some options which are what I believe futile methods to eliminate the problem completely ; for example foggers and treatment by the Orkin man but it's not a permanent solution if anything it'll just create these bugs to become resistant to these chemicals. She kept saying, " if you don't let us know than how can we remedy the problem?" I did let her know about a couple days after I moved in she sent out decons, but in my perspective I believe she was intentionally less then honest by not disclosing that the building do have a history of roaches and if tenting is completely out of the question because it's a costly measure than the roach problem will never end, period!!! It is what it is Casa Moreno is roach infested. I wish someone would have revealed this to me prior to moving here, now I'm stuck! I know my legal rights but it's just having to endure all of it again the nightmarish experience that is moving! But if my asthma can't take it than I'll have to do what I have to do!! I'll try her methods I'm nothing if not reasonable. read more

It is a very clean and beautiful place to live. I have been living here for a few months now and I feel very safe here. People even leave their doors open during the day sometimes. It is a gated apartment complex. A button is needed to enter and leave the apartments. Pets are welcome as long as they are under 20lbs. The manager, Jessica, is an extremely nice person and she is always smiling and willing to answer any question. The staff here is extremely nice and if there is a problem they will try to fix it as soon as possible which usually means the same day within the hour. The only problem I have with this place is that there are two beautiful pools in the center of the buildings but they are only open to the tenants a few times a year. I see the pool everyday from my apartment and it is big and deep on one end. When I moved in during the summer it was disappointing that we saw that the pool is nicely advertised in certain websites but there is no mention that it is only available for a few holidays through the year and when it is open it is only open for a few days. The manager did let us know about this when we decided to move in but it just went over my head because I couldn't believe it. This is my only problem. Other than that, everything else is great. read more
