I hate to write a bad review but I want to save another bride from experiencing what I had to deal with. I have held off on this review for a while but now that I see I missed all my sunset beach wedding pictures and I can never get those moments back, it's time for a review for this place. I had an appointment with them on my wedding day at 4:30pm, they told me they like to go to the place I was staying at and do my hair and make up. They said no one really goes to their salon. They told me it only takes them 1 hour to do my hair and make up because two professional make up artists work on me at the same time, one does hair and one does make up. My ceremony was at 7pm but I had my sunset photos set for 6pm. AFTER THEM NOT SHOWING UP FOR 15 min, I called... I was getting very nervous and anxious... someone answered and said they are on their way and will get to me in 5 min. Another 10 min went by and no one showed up... I was in a panic mode... called again... she said she is just getting to my street and she was very nasty and rude.... 40 min went by total.... With the help of my bridesmaids and my sister in law we did a quick hair and makeup ( of course different than what I wanted) ...... I was already so mad and stressed out..... They literally ruined my wedding day....I missed all my sunset photos..... They suck at this place.... I have all my reservation information with them and all the confirmation emails......... They are unreliable. read more

I had two young ladies from Casa salon that I had not met before come to my hotel room to do my hair and make-up before my wedding. Julia did my hair and I can't remember the name of the lovely lady who did my make-up (Olga?). Anyway I was a bit nervous as I wanted a natural look and the girls put me at ease and I showed them a few pictures of what I liked. They were absolutely SUPERB from start to finish. They were very professional and fast and quiet too so that I could gather my thoughts before my ceremony. Julia dealt with my unruly hair and produced a beautiful wavy half updo that looked fantastic in the photos. She took the fresh flowers I had and added them and also some little sparkle clips I had brought. I could not have had a nicer hair style. Olga was great with make-up and kept showing me to check I liked it. It was a lovely natural look. I can't recommend these girls highly enough. They recently did all the makeup for my wedding (me, my 3 bridesmaids, and my mom and mother-in-law). From the first time I contacted them all the way through the day of the wedding, it was a total pleasure to work together. At the consultation, they were so sweet and patient, and tried out several looks until I was happy. Through all the planning, they were warm and responsive, and flexible when I had some changes in what my bridal party wanted. For the wedding itself, not only did they do an incredible job on everyone's makeup, and contributed here fun, funny, and calming presence to the getting-ready experience. They are a total professional and very talented, while also down to earth and chill. My makeup was awesome - and basically lasted all night (with a few powder touchups) - and I felt beautiful! The most exciting thing was having false lashes applied - I was worried that they would look too over-the-top, but They used a technique that made them look natural and amazing! read more

As someone who doesn't often haunt the local salons, I wasn't sure how to go about finding the right hair and makeup help for my wedding. I waited a bit too long to look into my options. Online, there weren't many vendors with more than 1 or 2 reviews. Casa Salon had TONS, and I lucked out that she was available. My hair and makeup looked great. On the day of the wedding, my mom suggested a couple of changes from the hairstyle that we created in the trial-run. Elena picked up on what my mom wanted, took the change in a stride, and easily created exactly what we were looking for. Everyone loved her work. In terms of pricing, she was pretty comparable to others that I explored, and she came to our hotel, rather than the wedding party needing to travel to her. Based on my wedding experience with her, I now go to Elena for my regular coloring. I definitely lucked out! read more

I can happily say I found my beauty at Casa Salon with the wonderful help, guidance, and expertise of them a few weeks ago. I'm not the type of bride-to-be who really enjoys trying on gowns, and I had hardly any ideas in mind upon entering the salon. They however, were extremely helpful right from the beginning. They seemed to know what I was looking for before I did! They listenend to me, had great suggestions, and appeared to really understand my style and what I was going for. They made my experience at Casa Salon fantastic. I felt no need to look any further, as I was drawn to the first make up I tried on (one that they picked out). I'm still so happy with my make up selection, and with the fact that I went to Casa Salon first. I just felt the need to say 'thank you' again for making my experience so enjoyable, and so positive. I was hesitant to try eyelash extensions for the first time but I have to say I was sooooo happy that I did. The customer service I received at Casa Salon from the moment I made my appointment to the moment I walked out was fantastic. They made me feel very comfortable and they were extremely professional. The eyelashes are individual lashes that are applied one by one and last for several weeks. This was something I had been dying to do since I have extremely sparse lashes. What a difference! It's like I'm wearing mascara from the moment I wake up. I have had them for two weeks already and they still look amazing. While I was waiting I was watching a bridal party get their hair and makeup done and they were all stunning. They have some extremely talented stylists and makeup artists. I hired Casa Salon to do hair and makeup for myself and 3 bridesmaids for my wedding. Elena and her assistant were great and very professional. Everyone looked beautiful and our makeup looked great in pictures. She was able to meet all my requests including getting ready very early in the morning and what types of makeup I wanted to use. Additionally, we all got ready in her salon instead of onsite, because her salon was close to my wedding venue. Her salon was a lovely place to get ready. It's very cute, there was good music playing, and there was plenty of room and a private bathroom. Her salon is located on historic Duval Street and the restaurant next door had a great cafe which was a big plus getting ready early in the morning. I would definitely work with her for other events and recommend her to other brides. read more

Elena was absolutely amazing for my wedding! I booked her after seeing all of her GREAT reviews and they definitely held true. I had two trials with her at her cute Salonon Duval she was able to create exactly what I was envisioning as far as makeup and hair. She is also so nice and great to talk to. The makeup that she uses does not feel cakey or too heavy. On the wedding day, she and her assistant were able to arrive earlier than I was expecting (which was great!). She was so patient with my bridal party as they all decided to do some last-minute changes (some added in makeup application and everyone decided to do false eyelashes) and worked everyone in. My makeup and hair for the wedding day was just perfect! I will highly recommend her to any bride I run across!! read more

The staff was so amazing. My entire wedding make up was done here they assured me that they would make my wedding day no problem. I went in and started over. They went above and beyond for me and made me feel like a princess found The most amazing make up transferred all my money to it have me a great deal on hair piece to go with didnt rush me didnt make me feel like anything but amazing. I would go there again and again they emailed me back each time I had concerns they accommodates me they have been so awesome. I'd send everyone there who is is in need of marriage or any general make up, it goes away in the store with their consultants. Casa Salon is going to be highly recommended by me. read more

I was so happy for the wonderful, knowledgeable service I received while at Casa Salon. I had been to several bridal salons and with no success. My family was really starting to think I would never be able to choose a beauty, because I didn't know what I wanted, the fact is, I knew exactly what I wanted, the bridal makeup just weren't listening to me! who asked what Style I was looking for and what price point I was looking in. They were very patient and respectful of the price point I was interested in. In the end, I tried on. Finally, a stylist who listened! Look who's indecisive now, same bride, much better salon. Perfect Hair & Makeup, it was amazing. I started out only looking for someone to do my hair and makeup, and hair for my bridesmaids. Then it turned into my 3 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, and me all getting hair and makeup done. They did such an amazing job on everyone, and everyone loved how they looked. They are very reasonably priced when you look at other vendors too. They will come to you at no extra charge, so you don't have to worry about getting everyone to the salon. Casa Salon my stylist for 3 years and I love them! Not only is they skilled in the art of haircutting (which is the service I get). They have become a part of my grooming life. I am only sad when life takes me away on work trips that I sometimes have to find substitutes for them when needed. I have particularly thick, straight, heavy Asian hair. Because it's straight and heavy, the thickness is deceiving. They always provides me with the cut I want, thins out my hair so that it grows out beautifully and their just knows exactly how to cut, where to cut and make it look good. Plus they gives an excellent haircut and head massage too! I highly recommend them. read more

I am so glad that Casa Salon was recommended to me. I had a beach wedding in Key West, there was no time for a trial( as I was traveling from Chicago). Elena responded to my emails promptly, scheduled my appointment easily and did my hair and makeup herself( it is nice to get the boss). I was frazzled, but upon entering the salon , a calm washed over me. I was I a good hands and the studio is such a cozy and inviting space. Elena truly transformed me into a glamorous bride. Casa Salon is one of a kind. They are amazingly skilled and diligent staff truly makes the experience worthwhile. I am no hair expert but I was trying out a different style. My stylist not only guided me through the process of expressing what I wanted, but also gave great recommendations. They were attentive and asked for my opinion many times during the process to assure I was happy. I left with a new style that fit me perfectly on my wedding day and looked better than what I had originally wanted. After setting up a trial with Elena, I knew she was exactly who I wanted to put my trust in for my look on my big day! They were amazing! They are super personable and friendly! They offer me a beverage right away every time I go in, the room is so relaxing, and the service from them is outstanding! I have been getting my hair done and I have been blonde then chocolate brown, back to blonde, to black, platinum and now a softer blonde! I have had long hair and now a pixie cut and every time I ask for something new they delivers! They have so much depth and talent and create personalized color and cuts for whatever you want and need! Going to the salon is supposed to be a luxury and Casa Salon keeps it that way!!!! read more

I absolutely love this place! I have a *very* thick head of hair, and I've always asked places to thin it out and style it for me. I've always had OK hair cuts all my life. My first time here, they spent an hour just thinning out my hair, before spending lots of time and attention cutting it with all sorts of tools into one of the cutest hair cuts I've had. I was amazed and happy to have finally found a great place that can handle my head of hair. Perfect hair and make-up they did a phenomenal job on my bridal make-up,we all had the airbrush done and the false eyelash that stayed on for days.my make-up looked great, photo turned out beautiful and lasted all night.My daughter and best friend stood for me,they looked of course fabulous.These ladies worked quick and well together on one person at a time ,they knew exactly what we wanted in hairstyles and make-up,without even a trial run .I would recommend them.
