Took a ride to Fairplay from Florissant to get a bite to eat. This place was amazing. Food was fantastic and the service was fast and waiter was attentive Asked for a recommendation between two dishes. Went with the carnitas burrito and was not disappointed. The pork was tender and tasty. Husband had the carne asada tacos and they were flavorful as well. Salsas were so good we could have made a meal of the chips and salsa but glad we didn't because the entree was so awesome We will definitely will be making the drive back for truly great Mexican food. Usually drive into Woodland Park but this is worth the few extra miles. Our go to for Mexican food from now on. read more

Went tonight, our first Mexican food in colorado and it was so bad we couldn't even eat it. Salt, pepper, garlic and paprika is how you season fajitas... also quesadillas should not have cheddar cheese .. white cheese, always. Even the salsa was bad and the chips had a burnt taste. Almost 100 bucks for 4 people for a meal we ate maybe 10% of... so many good reviews of this place must be from people who've never eaten south texas mexican food. read more

Needed to take a break driving from Glenwood Springs to Colorado Springs and since we could park at the Visitor Center (van plus 16ft trailer) we stopped. Very cool spot. Has indoor and outdoor seating! Large menu of all the staples. Good inexpensive margaritas! We both ate great for $35 with one margarita only. Service was friendly and professional. Happy customers. I'm here on a gorgeous Wednesday afternoon, sitting in the spacious covered outdoor patio area with my loyal fur friend. The gold margarita is very nice and we also enjoyed a burrito with shredded beef. This is one Mexican restaurant where the chips are salsa are still brought out as soon as you sit down. The service was super fast, the food included GIANT portions for a great price, and everything was delicious. I particularly loved their salsa that comes with the chips, because it's not at all like salsa from a jar. Absolutely love Casa Sanchez! So welcoming and friendly, cozy and clean. Loved the music and videos playing while we enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious and the tequila was too. I went with the combo 3 and it was so much food, everything was delicious. Chile relleno was the stand out of the plate. Although the beef enchilada was perfection and the chicken taco was good too. We ate outside (great ambiance, lots of space and shade) and the service was extremely quick! We were sat down immediately and given chips, a high chair for our little guy, and waters. Within a minute, the free chips and two different kinds of salsa arrived - both were great and the chips were fresh. The food was bland and overcooked, the margaritas are mostly syrup and even the salsa was lacking something. The bathrooms needed attention and other ongoing repairs seem to be long forgotten. The chips and salsa taste burnt and pretty flavorless even after putting a ton of salt on them. For dinner I ordered the fried burrito with ground beef the first time. The burrito was so soggy one one side that it tasted as if were soaked in water. Service was very slow and not too friendly either. Taco meat is tasteless and they didn't drain it. Had water/liquid literally running out of it. Have never encountered that before.
