We are locals, and stop here a couple times a month for a Mexican dish! I see in most of Yelp reviews. so much negativity about service lately. I have a hard time believing that people can't be a little forgiving until restaurants, stores, and motels get back to a full staff. It's where we are as a nation right now. Paying more to stay home than go to work. Have some heart! It's almost over! We love the people that work here, and they have always been very nice to us. We really liked this place a few years ago. However, it seems to have taken a nose dive lately. Our party ordered 3 entries & 1 appetizer. They table server was pleasant & did ok taking down & noting our dietary restrictions. It seems that the kitchen ignored our requests. In reflecting, they messed up on each of the 4 dishes out of 4. To start, They didn't bring any chips for the app (a dip - c'mon, how can you have a dip w/o chips. ). We asked for no cheese on 1 entree & it was smothered (you guessed it - in cheese). Then there were the enchiladas which were supposed to have a chocolate mole sauce. Well, it was tomato based. Lastly, I had 3 tacos in corn tortillas (I'm celiac). I even noted that to the server. Only 1 of the 3 was corn. SO THANKFUL I caught it before swallowing my first bite! He brought some corn ones shortly. So if you don't mind not getting what you pay for, go for it. Town favorite for me as well as most locals here. Clean place with a great Mexican vibe. ALL the food is great here. When we sit down, we don't even have to tell them what we want. We go so much they already know. Great staff. If you are hungry for Mexican, you will not be disappointed. Best margaritas around too by the way. read more

I've ate here about 10 years now and have never been disappointed. Great prices and many options, even for vegetarians. Taco salad is one of my favorites... I love the crispy taco shell bowl. Fried chimichangas are my next best. You get complimentary chips and salsa, and their cheese dip is to die for so you can't go wrong there! They are almost always busy when I go. We often have to get a box to take leftovers home. Also, priced right, you can take your family here and not cost you an arm and a leg.
