If it wasn't so warm and humid inside, it was an easy rating of 5. Basic, unassuming spot where a lot of Latinos go for great food. Some cool artwork on the walls, not a fancy place. Server was polite and very attentive. The kitchen brought the dishes out a couple at a time. The empanada was my favorite. The crust was light and airy with a slight crisp, and not at all greasy. The Gordita was good, but I found the tortilla to be a bit dense for my taste, and I'm not a huge fan of corn tortillas. The steak inside was tasty and tender, and the onion and cilantro topped it off. We both had pupusas, which were quite delicious and were served with the traditional pickled cabbage on the side. The chimichanga was perfection, and the tortilla was light and crisp. The rice and beans were good. The cheek taco-well, the meat melted in your mouth and was so good and tender. Be advised-they have bottled drinks so no refills. Chips were thick but crisp and tasty, not overly salty and not oily at all. The two salsas, red and green, were delicious. We had one entree, 5 a la carte items, and two drinks for barely over $40. Very reasonable! read more

One of the most authentic Mexican food I had in SC. Beef tongue taco was phenomenal, meat was very tender and delicious! The other dish I had was amazing, too. The green sauce chips was well seasoned and paired with cheese on top. Service was great, the waitress was not very good at English but she tried her best to serve us and checked the order twice to make sure there are no issues. read more

This is a nice little taqueria. Everything here is made to order, so it could take a while for the food to be ready. They had a good selection of items on their menu, even some vegetarian options, which was a plus. We got burritos; I got the veggie burrito, which had mushrooms, bell pepper, and other stuff, which was nice. And my husband got the one with carnitas. They came with rice and beans as well as two kinds of salsa. The food was very delicious. I will definitely return again to try some of the other items on their menu. read more

Delicious tacos, sopes, asada fries! Usually get a couple asada tacos, an al pastor taco and a carnitas sope. Wash it down with a Mexican coke. Green salsa is super flavorful and not too spicy, red salsa is hot yet also tasty. I just tried their asada fries, asked for cheddar instead of American cheese which was the correct choice. Service is friendly and fast. Fyi-They are closed on Mondays. Which means 6 whole days a week you can fulfill all your taco desires! What are you waiting for? Go get some tacos!! read more

Went here for the first time a few days ago. The food was absolutely delicious! I really liked their chips. They're a bit thicker than most Mexican restaurants. The quesadilla I got was really good as well. I liked the atmosphere there. You order your food at a counter and they bring it to you fairly quickly. The employees were very nice. I finally found a great little Mexican food gem here in Myrtle Beach, SC! I've been searching and this awesome place peeked my interest when I saw their food truck near my home. I went into the restaurant today and was not disappointed. Their salsa verde was so fresh. The tacos were incredible. He had pork belly, cow tongue, and steak tacos. I had chicken and cheese empanadas. We finished it off with churros served with ice cream! We will be back and ordering on a regular basis. read more

Authentic, no frills Mexican restaurant. The restaurant sits in a strip mall with other shops and a sports bar. A walk up counter and a few tables. The menu can be overwhelming if it's your first time, but the staff will go over everything...in detail so you know exactly what you're getting. Awesome-ness. The food, hands down was just as close from when I lived in San Diego and wanted to get "dirty tacos", just as if I was eating them in Mexico. Let me explain a dirty taco.... it's a taco that is cheap and so damn good that there is a possibility if you have too many, you will regret it for a day or two... look, there is nothing wrong with that at all.. cause it was good enough that your stomach hated it and you can deal with it, and your mind is so satisfied that you will remember it for months if not years to come.. ya j remember my trips to Mexico,,, they were well worth it!! Having said that, ya.. this place rocks and is so amazingly good, I felt I was back at home in California. The churros for dessert, just perfect, and I mean perfect. I really love this place. After eating this, i definitely won't be eating at another tex-mex restaurant ever again! This place makes you see just a snippet of authentic Mexican cuisine. My favorites on the menu is the chorizo and tongue tacos. The meat is well seasoned and very tender. I also liked the choizo chimichanga, the outside was crunchy and light. The beans and rice are also delicious as well. The other menu items i tried, like the sopas, didnt seem as flavorful like the rest. Also their pork belly is chewy, which isn't what im used too. We have eaten here twice now. I've tried pupusas, gorditas, tacos, and chimichangas. Along with two specials; a chorizo sandwich and fried tilapia. As far as meat I have tried marinated beef, marinated pork, chicken and chorizo. Everything so far has been delicious. The flavors are light enough to not overwhelm yet compliment one another perfectly. They blend spices with fresh herbs and the result is nothing short of delicious. Don't leave without trying their flavored water. My husband prefers the mango which is fruity and tart and I prefer the watermelon, it is sweet and perfect as a dessert. I can't recommend them enough. Also the prices can't be beat. In total we've spent about $55 to try just about everything on the menu. And their take out is just as fresh and delicious as dining in. So very happy! Just ordered and I had the papussas. They were delicious. Only issue is in California I am used to the slaw having a very mild red sauce mix In. These did not so the little sides of red sauce I thought were a mild sauce for the papussas! Not so much. Very very hot sauce but my own fault! But my papussas were delicious. And I also had a potato taco again delicious. Hubby had steak like fajitas meal he said it was also best around so far. We will be ordering again. Very happy customer. read more
