Plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly, although after the midpoint of our meals our waitperson was difficult to find. We had the noon vegetarian buffet. The selection of choices was excellent but some dishes did not taste very fresh (leftovers from the day before?). We were sat on the bar end where the "smoking" specific to hookah pipes. I enjoyed our meal and the ambience however, they should really ask their guests the option to sit in this area. My boyfriend and I love the Casablanca on the east side, so, we thought we would try Casablanca in Brookfield. Our waiter was nice and the food was great. However, I couldn't get over how incredibly dirty our table was. The tables are a shiny black, which emphasizes glass marks and rings. Our table was covered in rings left by glasses. We arrived at 11 am and there were maybe two other groups of 2 seated at tables. The restaurant was over staffed and staff looked bored. That being said, there's no excuse why our table was so filthy. It was very apparent our table hadn't been cleaned or sanitized in days. My boyfriend and I will still go to the Casablanca on the east side, but, will not be returning to the Brookfield location. read more

To be honest it was ok! We went here during summer and we where getting eaten alive by mosquitos. I asked why they had so many mosquitos in the lower level and the answer we got is because the upstairs was open. The lady said they where going to close the door but that never happened cause when we finished our meals we went upstairs and they where wide open. Our 2nd visit to the new location was dismal. We were a group of 10 on a Tuesday evening. To say the seating was a clusterf*ck is putting it mildly. The table they showed us to was not set up, and for all of us,they left 3 menus. It was on the West side of the restaurant, which has open windows, and the sun was unbearable. There are no shades whatsoever. After sitting there for 15 minutes, with a waited stopping by to say he'd be back, we decided to move to another table. We when all stood up is when we were finally noticed by what i assume was a manager and moved to a table in the shade. Now, I must note here, I love the open window concept, but throughout the night, we were constantly swatting flies and I came home with 3 mosquito bites, SITTING INSIDE THE RESTAURANT. The servers seemed overwhelmed, just like out last time there. They need a seasoned wait staff and a decent bartender. One person ordered a Dirty martini, on the rocks with 3 olives. He got a Martini in a martini glass, no rocks. Sent it back after explaining to the waitress, who looked like a deer in headlights, that it was to be on the rocks. Evidently, she nor the bartender never heard of a Martini other than the standard way. He got it on the rocks, with his olives, but they forgot the "dirty" (olive juice) part. He then ordered a water with LIME. He got a water with LEMON. He gave up. Drink refills had to be asked for. We ordered 2 combo appetizers, they were ok, but came with pita bread that tasted stale. Like it was left out all day. Some of us ordered salad with the house dressing, which is supposed to be a "creamy Italian type". There was nothing creamy about it. Water stood in the bowl under the lettuce. They need to rethink the salad -- it's lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes, that's it. The Cheese soup was watery. Entrees were better, but not outstanding. I had the Chicken Tahini Pasta, which I loved before. This time the sauce was watery and there was less chicken. Others had salmon, which was good and the Sishkabob's were ok. We ordered desserts. The Limoni Raspberry Cake was moist and good. Baklava was average. The Chocolate Brownie thing was horrid. It was not a brownie - it was a cupcake. A cold cupcake, still in the paper, which was stuck to it. It came with Vanilla Gelato. About a half of a tablespoon. Very disappointing. Staff is friendly, but has no clue. I could handle that if the food/drinks were better. It will be a long time before I go back, if ever. Most of our group had never been there and I doubt will ever go back. Also, worth mentioning, we were celebrating 2 birthdays, which i told them when I reserved the table. They offer no birthday desserts, nor did they even have candles. The waitress told us it was her first birthday group. OMG. Another footnote: 2 of our party need Gluten Free. For appetizers, entrees and dessert, the waitress had to go and ask about the GF options and it took her a good 10 minutes to return. Our reservations were for 6 pm, we left there after 9. read more

Just had the most surreal, mind boggling experience I've ever had at a restaurant. So we arrived at 11am for the Sunday brunch buffet. Since they open at 11, figured food was just put out, fresh and hot. It was. The buffet was very good. Great selection and everything was tasty. The server arrived promptly, introduced herself and her trainee who was shadowing her. She Was friendly and did good job of explaining mimosa flavors and made to order crepe selections that were included with the brunch. Everything was going very well, and we were excited about finding a new brunch place with good food and good value for the price. Then this happens. Server returns to check in, fill waters, clear plates. Asked how everything was, I said delicious and I was now going to hit up the desserts. I asked for a clean fork.( Her trainee had started to clear my plate and silverware). She said they didn't have any clean forks, said something about spoons being available by the soup station, then instructed her trainee to put my dirty silverware back on the table.(which she did) I laughed and said something like "what, only 1 fork per customer?" She kinda laughed and said yeah, and walked off. I assumed to grab a clean fork. But she never returned. After sitting there stunned, bewildered, and confused, she returned about 10 minutes later and asked if we wanted anything else. With a confused look on my face, I said "so you were serious about the fork?" She said yes, cause they have to roll they're own silverware and in fact, when the servers eat there they use spoons. WTF? I was dumbfounded. I get rolling silverware at the end of a shift is a pain, but seriously? There's no loose forks in a clean dish bin? There was only maybe 5 other tables there, so not like you'd have to roll a lot. Plus you got a trainee, have her roll em. And also this is the standard of customer service this restaurant trains people to? What if I needed a new napkin? Would the reply have been "there's toilet paper in the bathroom"? Absolutely crazy this place is willing to lose a customer/customers over a fork. I cannot in good faith recommend this restaurant to anyone. In fact this experience was so bizzare, that the story will no doubt be relayed to many friends/family. Just insane. My mind is still blown. read more

Admittedly we dined here last Saturday night by accident. We intended to eat at an Indian restaurant that apparently had closed. The parking lot next to Casablanca was full, so we walked in. Large space, uncrowded. Some tables were enjoying hookahs but we never noticed any tobacco odor. We ordered craft cocktails from their very creative menu. Both were unusual and delicious. When it was time to order food, the incredibly knowledgeable waiter steered us to share - first the appetizer sampler (fresh and delicious, including the best hummus that we had ver enjoyed) and the the signature stewed lamb. When we asked about a 2nd appetizer he told us it would be too much food. When we asked about the signature lentil soup he brought us two small tasting samples (so we would know for the next time). When we asked about wine he recommended a Lebanese red that complimented the lamb perfectly. We were finishing the appetizer when the music picked up and the bellydancers appeared. The dancers engaged well with the guests without being disruptive, and really engaged with a group of Pre-teen girls at a nearby table. It was such an enjoyable touch. Our entree arrived and was delicious, plenty to share and cooked and seasoned beautifully. We could not have been happier. We live an hour away, and will make a point to return on a regular basis as long as we continue to have such an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended! read more

It was the first buffet I had seen where there food was not kept warm, nor the food replenished. Moreover, for a so called "Middle Eastern" restaurant, dishes like BBQ wings and crepes had no place. Moreover, the "middle eastern dishes" had no aroma, no taste and no character on them. The biggest disappointment though, was the couscous, which we ordered from the menu. A dish came out with a red sauce, in which some tasteless vegetables were swimming, at the presence of some couscous here and there.... Our main complaint is that all the food we chose was either room temperature or cold. The price for a domestic beer was $6 per glass!! I highly doubt we would ever go back. Ordered take out. The spicy chicken sandwich was anything but spicy. Bland and had a weird aftertaste. I have no idea what the sauce on it was supposed to be. It appeared to be all dark chicken. Two sandwiches and a small hummus was $40. The wrap was really odd tasting. We ended up throwing it out. Will never be back. NEVER ACCIDENTALLY FORGET YOUR CREDIT CARD HERE!!! Accidentally left my credit card on Thursday in the bar area. Called Friday morning to see if it was there and the manager Mandy told me it was and that I could come pick it up. Went to pick up my card and they told me they could not find it! 45 minutes I waited for the manager on duty to "look" for my card. Sandra Mendoza (manager) repeatedly told me there was nothing she could do about finding my card in the store. She told me that I would have to wait until the other manager texts her back (i dont know why there was not a call made vs a text message) or I would just have to sit at their restaurant and wait forever until someone writes her back. 45 minutes later the manager Mandy answers her phone and I can over hear her talking to Sandra stating that I am "just going to have to wait until she returns on Wednesday" since Sandra could not find my card. When I spoke to Mandy on the phone, she tried to tell me where it was located and I told her the other manager is refusing to look for it and saying she couldn't find it. Her response was that I would just have to wait 2 more days to receive my credit card back and that I would have to make an additional separate trip to that location to retrieve it. Sandra brought out a stack of credit cards (45 mins later) and surprise surprise...my card is not there. Nothing about this is acceptable. Telling a customer that you cannot locate their credit card and refusing to look for it is unacceptable. Making me take an additional trip to an area where I do not live is unacceptable. The lack of concern for my missing credit card is unacceptable. Sandra sending the host to tell me she couldn't find my card instead of addressing me as the manager to find a solution that would be best for me is unacceptable. Me being told I can just wait all night for my card or come back is UNACCEPTABLE!!! As someone formally in the industry who managed restaurants for 2 decades, I am appalled and would never had treated an issue regarding the loss of a customers credit card with such neglect. (side note: its crazy to auto-grat a 2 top). I asked Sandra for the general managers name and she told me there was none. I asked who the senior manager was and she said "maybe lisa or maybe Mandy". I asked if I could have the phone number for corporate, she told me they did not have one. I asked for an email address or any contact info for any one and she finally gave me an email for Lisa, who will also be receiving this review. Had you read my review with any interest you would have seen that the second martini was a disaster. I am not the rube you take me for; I am well aware of how 'big restaurants' operate. Ones that are well managed do use expedited and runners. They also record not only the table to which food is to be delivered but also the position at the table. Your point of sale software most likely has that feature if you choose to use it. read more
