I was going out of town and didn't immediately realize my mistakes so many weeks later. Given the time passage I thought I was going to be hassled, but they were very kind and without really asking any questions allowed would be to swap out. Cascade Pools installed our in-ground spa in 2002 and it is still going strong. They are always available if there is a problem (which is rare) and provide excellent service. I too purchased from them some 1" bromide tablets over the pandemic and never used them. They took them back when I was able to locate chlorine tablets. No questions asked. Great company. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY! Spoke with Stephanie and Jamie. Cascade installed a non-functioning pool cover and after several calls are "not available for at least a month." Terrible customer service . They recommended that we use Superior Pools Covers. Shocking to me that the answer for their inadequate customer service is to send you to a competitor. Cascade just finished the pool we have waited so long for. Despite the significant challenges of COVID, labor pool, and supply chains, which made the whole thing take far longer than we thought, they have done a brilliant job. An inground pool is more complex than I knew. I would particularly like to call out Tommy and Silian for their expertise and professionalism, not to mention hard work despite high winds, cold and rain, but the whole Cascade team was excellent. My wife and I are trying to get an idea on how much it would cost to put a pool in our new construction home back yard. I was referred to Cascade so I called and then stopped in to get some ideas. Wow. It's amazing to me they are still in business with such TERRIBLE customer service. I walked in and they immediately acted like I was inconveniencing their day. They basically told me if I wasn't willing to spend $100K they weren't interested in helping me. Unbelievably rude. I highly suggest you find somewhere else to build you a pool. I personally am going to take my $50k somewhere that appreciates my business. Have them a one star because I couldn't do 0 stars. read more

This review is for a pool and a hottub/spa that this company installed that i operated for about 8 years. The pool was installed as part of a planned unit development and the original contract was with the home builder not myself. However, as a result of the installation i've had to do extra work to complete the job and operate things safely. First, the system was undersized for the water volume, the piping was too small and in about a 10 year period we're on our 4th pump. When i spoke with someone at Cascade pools after the first pump died they told me they should last 30 years. Obviously not, the first one barely lasted 2 years. The back pressure on the pump and type of filtration system was inadequate and eventually had to be replaced. The company installed a very lost cost and conventional sand filter system which required attention more then once a day to keep the water clear. Over time i had to replace the sand filter system with a cartridge filter system instead to handle the filter load and keep the water clean for users. Second, the gas-fired heaters that were installed did not have sufficient manufacturer's ventilation since they were indoors. This company literally overlooked some pretty critical installation steps to provide enough air intake if installed in a closed space. Had to pay a contractor to cut holes in walls and install 4 large vents to meet the MINIMUM specifications in the room. While this may not have been the fault of the Cascade Pools but rather the builder they should not have let it go! After 3 years one of the heaters failed also, the reason it failed that it was too small to heat a water volume of the designed size and it literally melted wires and circuit boards. Again, not necessarily anything wrong with the product, but a design / installation defect. The spa that was installed has been a markedly better experience then the pool. I think because the spa was properly sized, the filtration, pumping, and such were adequate and normal maintenance kept this running. I actually have very few complaints about the installation and system sizing of the spa that was installed seems done right. When i confronted the company on these problems i got an arrogant, rude, and disrespectful response from one of their employees. They refused to come look at things before the first pump was replaced and it was quite clear that there were no warranties involved here. If someone can't refrain from swearing on the phone its unlikely i'd want to meet them in person to look at things. The main things i got in response was that there was improper maintenance, something which couldn't have been the case, i had experts with 20+ years experience telling me to make these calls and ask these questions. In short, i think its important to not undersize and to properly install mechanical elements to fit the usage and sizing expected. This company installed a pool with a dozen problems that manifested over the first 10 years or so of its lifetime. This company may very well install some good products but this installation was completely screwed up and ended up costing TENS of thousands in extra construction replacement, and consultant time. I'd never recommend doing business with this company and certainly wouldn't let them work on my equipment. You get what you pay for, don't skimp on mechanical elements of your commercial pool installation. read more

I recommend this Pool company for any of your in ground pool spa or water feature needs. You will get no better in the area than this company. A handy tip with this company is to get all repairs and new items during the winter months when the season is slower. You get quicker appointments and can beat the busy pool season. Terrible customer service. Called and spoke to Devin, who is part of management there. Told him my pool was built by Cascade and that I had some issues to address. Devin told me that he had a crew up in my neighborhood on Tuesday's and that I would "get a call back to schedule an appointment." I never received a call back and when I called back THREE times and left messages, I still never received a call back from Devin. According to their website Devin is part of the family that owns Cascade Pools and it appears they have a long, noble family history in the pool business. It's a shame that Devin is giving the family a bad name by not returning calls and overpromising and by being plain rude by not returning my (polite) messages--especially when I'm calling to actually spend money--which is, you know, the lifeblood of companies. I'm an attorney and have lots of friends who either own pools or are maintaining pools. Clearly, I will not be recommending this company when asked for a recommendation by my friends (which happens a lot). read more

Cascade installed our pool in the 1970s and it is still operating and looking great. This last year we did have to have it replastered for cosmetic purposes. The original pool equipment, ie. heater and filter were replaced a few (5 to 10) years ago, but this is after 40 or so years of service. Through the years, Spence has always been helpful although he was not the original project manager, who was Phil Turodger, retired. As an architect I have recommended them to my clients for both commercial and residential projects. read more
