I recently moved to The Case Building two weeks ago, today!! There are so many great things about living at this complex. I almost do not know where to begin, so I will start with Alyssa since she is the reason I am here. She made my move in process so quick and seamless. She is still very helpful and nothing short of amazing. Not only Alyssa, but all the staff here at the Case Building, from the cleaning staff, to the security, to the residents. Everyone always has a smile on their face and is ready to assist whenever needed. I really feel that the residents' needs are top priority for the staff because they are extremely hardworking. The office is open daily which is so convenient. The cleaning staff are always cleaning up behind all residents, furry friends included! I wouldn't be surprised if they vacuumed and mopped multiple times a day. Even outside the complex you will find cleaners power washing the entrances and picking up behind the pups at the park!! It amazes me how much detail they put into keeping the community clean, which seems to be a never ending task with downtown living. The security here is no exception. They put the safety of the residents first. You will find security posted up in the garage (even with the double gated entry for our cars' protection)!! You will find security at the leasing desk once the office closes for the day. Officer Johnson was even kind enough to try and help me navigate the concierge locker after office hours. I had a package delivered but I had not gotten around to setting up my locker yet, so turns out my package had been sitting outside the lockers for a few days, and the residents left it untouched!! This is when I realized how trustworthy our community is. At my last apartment, my package could have been taken within the hour it was delivered. But the people here are very kind and supportive. They constantly help me navigate all the wonderful amenities here. Living with these types of people feels like a luxury within itself. And as if they were not enough, The Case Building offers many incomparable amenities. Some of my favorites are: the huge dog park with ample terrain and activities, dog grooming station conveniently placed on the side entrance for those extra muddy days, the starbucks coffee bar which I use all the time, the free and QUALITY food/monthly events the owners so generously provide, the conveniently safe delivery systems, the aesthetic mood lighting, music, and art in the halls, and many many more. It has been a such a blessing to live here, anyone will agree. Anytime I have visitors they are always impressed and inquire about moving here themselves! I have never lived in a place like The Case Building. The aura here is so authentic and safe. I would not dream of calling any other place home. This place is an answered prayer. This place is amazing. One of the most unique things about it is the community and sense of community. There are so many common areas and the bar is always hopping during its hours. Its great seeing everyone regularly. Plus the staff is always friendly and helpful. Caroline in particular has always been fun and pleasant and recently went out of her way to help me solve a problem with a package that wasnt delivered correctly. Whatever you do don't move here! I lived here for two years, and I should've left years ago. The staff is rude and unhelpful. Also I had roaches, and I'm a very clean person. They also tow your car even when it's "properly registered." It's in a very unsafe area and they have little to no security. I've heard that multiple cars were broken into again and again. The walls are super thin so it makes it hard to even work from home. Heed my warning and don't move here! There are much better and more affordable places in Dallas. read more

I finally decided to leave suburbia and was on a quest to find something unique in the city; and I swear, I looked at all but 5 high rises in the metro-plex (ehem, within the price I was willing to pay) and didn't find too many that made me say WOW. Don't get me wrong, I love amenities, but that is an added bonus to any apartment and I need the actual living space to look like something. After being underwhelmed with all the white walls and boxes I found in other places, I was VERY happy to be introduced to The Case Building---I didn't even know they were over there in Deep Ellum! This place is gorgeous and immediately put a small on my face when I viewed it. I remember saying to Cindy who was showing me the property, 'now THIS is what I am talking about!' FINALLY a little decor, exposed brick, a GAS STOVE (which I love b/c I have one in my home) and other unique characteristics INSIDE the unit...FINALLY. In complete transparency, The Case Building was my top 3 and I ultimately opted for another location that was more in the heart of uptown, but I'd definitely consider them in the future. Their specials were good BUT the one unit I really wanted didn't have the specials or any other concessions that would put me in the price range I wanted to pay---BIG BOO. They are at the residential side of deep ellum, but still close to all the night life, have plenty of parking (both free and paid) around the building and truly, have nice additions in their apartments. Absolute best experience living in a high rise great sense of community, very pet friendly and in the best part of Dallas!

This is, by far the most gorgeous building I've ever lived in, nothing even compares. Since it's so new, we've been fortunate not to run into any issues with appliances, furnishing, or anything else that needed repair. The amenities are incredible and it's a perfect distance away from the Deep Ellum noise/activity -- just enough to ensure that you don't have bar/club goers at your front door, but it's only a 5-10 min walk if you want to be in the thick of it. I particularly like to call attention to the staff (specifically Naomi, Cassidy, and Gisela + the maintenance/cleaning staff) who have been terrific. They are cordial, prompt, professional, and the level of care/concern that they have and show tenants is light years beyond any building I've ever lived in. It truly takes the experience of living in a luxury building to the next level. My one qualm is the parking garage. The spaces are very narrow, there's limited guest parking, and there is a high potential for incident there. Other than that, I highly recommend. read more

Moved into the case about a year ago, overall experience has been good with on-site staff. Staff does seem attentive when emailed about any questions or concerns. Building quality for an apartment is excellent, does give a "Wow" factor when touring. The amenities before Covid-19 were great but now we have a NO guest policy at the pool and you can't use the gym before 9am. I understand the safety aspect of keeping residents safe but the constant emails about what we can and can't do is a bit much. We should be able to police ourself for our safety. The location used to be amazing with all the bars but since the bars have closed, now its just loud noise from cars, motorcycles, and ambulances driving down the road. read more

14 month lease at this place. I don't have 1 complaint. The staff was always super friendly, Knowledgeable and accommodating. I am the lightest sleeper in the world, and lived on the 5th floor. I never heard my neighbors. The building was ALWAYS clean. The garage was perfect...there's always plenty to do, and walking distance to everything. The only reason I left was because I bought a house but I'd go back in a second. These parents are so beautiful and well kept. You're gonna love it. read more

Horrible Property management staff. After touring this property in my official capacity as a relocation specialist (meaning i've seen a lot) I was so impressed with the amenities and the location I immediately fell in love. unfortunately this property did not work for my clients needs as they do not allow for multiple leases. I had been looking in the dallas area for 2 months, even before i moved here so needless to say i am beyond ready to settle in somewhere. So I choose to apply at case building. I didn't have any follow up from the management other than an email stating that i was denied because when i originally toured in my official work capacity I mentioned the my client protected shield. meaning they charged me $75 and didn't even consider my application. SCAM At this point this is pure discrimination based on my source of income and the office staff is refusing to escalate my issue to upper management. I won't let this rest tho I'll take it to the top and will be back with an update to let you all know the final resolution. read more

The "on site police officer" came to my room TWICE. When I had NO guests or music playing. After asking him why he was harassing my apartment he, informed me that I was a "maggot" and he had every right to harass me, and arrest me. After asking multiple times, he refused to give me his full name or badge number and told me to "get lost". I really expected more from a plaice that's 2k/month... read more

I have not had a negative experience and wanted to make a point to share. I'm in a customer service industry and most of the time there's a negative review about my team or employees, there's always two sides to the story. I didn't have a lot of time to do extensive research so to be honest, I liked the place, the location, and the person showed it to me was friendly. That was enough for me. I was on a time crunch so I needed to find something quickly. I had one specific day I could move in and the freight elevator was booked, Ryane was able to move things around so I could reserve it and accommodated my schedule which was super helpful. My key fob wasn't working so Adam helped me and went above and beyond to get my new key fob activated and left it in my mailbox since I was working during leasing office hours. I will say even though I didn't do research, I knew what the neighborhood was about and that's why I chose this location. It's important to read your lease and understand the terms / ask questions before signing. I haven't had any issues with noise and everyone that has assisted me has been very helpful! read more

Living here these past 3months has been great. Staff here are very nice, the coffee machine in the lobby that is free for all residents is my best friend. And on the weekends the bar here is where everyone watches the games and lets loose. My gym is the one of my favorites 2floors of anything and everything you need to get in shape, at any hour of the day or night. Can't wait for summer this pool is gonna be fun with cook outs and music, looking at the view of the Dallas Skyline while here at the Case Building. Home Sweet Home! read more

I cannot say enough good things about The Case Building. The leasing staff is phenomenal, they truly know each resident and create an environment that cannot be matched. There has never been a complex that can beat the team at this place! The community at the building is also very close knit, everyone is friendly and says hello and I'm constantly meeting knew people at their downstairs bar! ( Yes, there's an amazing bar where so many residents come down to unwind and have fun! ) The community is very dog friendly, there's even a puppy washing station inside, complete with air dryers... not to mention the two huge dog parks for your pup to roam around in. Plus who doesn't want to live near the heart of Deep Ellum? This place is so close to everything I hardly ever move my car . read more

I was over-the-moon excited to move into this place. First high rise, first time in an "entertainment district", first time to experience the "great" amenities, and the first time to be happy with quality construction. That idea soon came tumbling down within the first week of living at the Case Building. This is THE WORST place I have ever lived. You will be wowed by the look and feel of the Case but it stops there. The building is beautiful and very appealing, however, there is a reason that they cannot hold occupancy in the building! I will get into that here. The reason for that: 1) There is another resident here by the name of Mandy L. She has been dubbed the "snitch of the Case". She will tell on any other resident for anything. She will snoop around social media just to get you in trouble. She seems to think that she is above the rules and everyone else is beneath her. Steer clear of this lady if you become a resident. Mandy has been caught several times telling on people. 2) The amenities that were promised upon moving in do not exist. We were told the pool is no limit on guests and they decided to change the rules before we moved in without informing us - if they had told us then we would not have leased here. The pool is never busy, but we cannot even have guests over to enjoy the amenities that we pay thousands of dollars per month for. The pool rules are horrible - if you are an outgoing person and want to enjoy the pool then do not rent here. The gym is another story. We were unable to access the gym pretty much all this time because they do not feel it is important for those of us that want to work out early. You must have a staff escort to the gym to work out! How dumb. The bar should have been shut down as bars across DFW had to close. Nope, not at the Case! So, you can be here and access the bar with a bartender but cannot bring any guests to the pool. Their willingness to accommodate Mandy (mentioned above) and that click is totally wrong. There are other adults here. 3) Security. Very lackluster. Recently, the resident gate was not working properly, and they decided not to fix it for 3 days! We are in Deep Ellum with not so good people, how can you let the gate waiver for 3 days!? Also, the rioting that took place during the BLM movement came to the doorstep. They have recently suspended the security guard that was here. 4) No respect for residents as adults. There have been accusations made on us when we are not even home! They have recently accused us of washing dog pee off our patio when we were not even in town. Yes, we have a dog - no, we do not purposefully wash dog pee off our balcony. We have more respect for other people than that. Again, we are not children! There were diseases at the dog park, so we made amends to not have our dog go there. We were forced to go out into a very unsafe Deep Ellum community that has shootings fairly frequently. It is a lose-lose at the Case. 5) Maintenance. Plan to wait forever to have service. Simply put. Then they try to "complete" a request without coming back to fix the main problem. 6) Elevators. This is a multi-family use facility. The elevators are an essential part to every day for every resident. The elevators here are always broken down, have dog pee in them, or have snobby residents in them. You will wait forever to get anywhere in the building if you are using the elevator or be stuck next to a snobby resident that snarls at your every move. Hopefully this helps anyone out. My husband and I are so happy at The Case! The apartments are beautiful and the amenities are fantastic. The location is walking distance to all of the best spots in Deep Ellum so there's always a good place to get happy hour or brunch! Place is terrible. They'll tell you what you want to get your money. They'll even tell you you're approved! Then say before you move in send a dry message saying never mind you're now denied and then they'll take they're time retuning your money! Be sure this is where you wanna stay cause as soon as you hand them the money their entire energy changes! Cindy was my leasing agent and I can truly say, I had the best experience with her. Cindy showed me so many units until I had a very hard time making my mind up. The Case is unlike any other property I have lived at previously in all the best ways. After looking at about a dozen places all over Dallas I chose this building because (a) Cindy is the best and (b) it really did seem to provide a sense of community. The work area & bar feels like a WeWork and is a great way to meet your neighbors, who are all extremely friendly from what I've seen so far. The finish outs and small touches including the Sonos speakers built in really set it apart. Plus the accessibility to bars, shops, etc is tough to beat. I see a handful of mixed reviews on this complex so I felt I should add a few comments. This apartment building is within about 1/2 mile of every venue in Deep Ellum. That means that all the bars, all the concert venues, all the parking lots, and the sidewalks will be filled with people and music (usually only friday and saturday nights but sometimes thursday). This apartment building is also a 5 minute walk to the Baylor campus, and the same to a train station. Is it expensive? Yes, but you get what you pay for: 1 - a parking garage so you're not trying to find a spot on the street (ask others that live in downtown dallas or deep ellum and see how parking works out for them and their guests). 2- A pool, a gym, a bar only open to residents on thur,fri,sat with inexpensive, high quality drinks. 3 - A staff that keeps the building clean, maintained well, responds promptly to issues, and is the friendliest group of people I've ever dealt with. 4 - Dedicated access to the building during festivals that block the street and parking access 5 - Amazing soundproofing (I've never heard anyone else's sonos and no one has complained about hearing mine even though I have it on most of the time at 50% volume) and the street noise is drastically minimized when you close the balcony door. 5 - Soon, a dog park 6 - Everything is BRAND NEW built from the ground up. It's not a remodeled old hotel, or warehouse, or auto shop. Nor is it a carbon copy of what you'd find in the suburbs. Even though I had my eye on this building since they had booth at the Deep Ellum Arts Festival a few years ago, I looked at other places in the area just to compare. What I found was that for me, when I compared the additional issues with other places (age, parking, etc), it was worth the extra. Is it for everyone? No. When the other reviewers mention professionals, and medical folks, they're right that this is probably the target demographic but look, this is Deep Ellum, check the history of this area and you'll find that it has reinvented itself countless times over the last 100 years. I would expect any building in the area to have a mix of Baylor folks, musicians, artists, students, computer geeks, and other creative professionals. Good luck in your search. read more

I fell in love with The Case's amenities on my tour. All of the common areas exceed those of other Dallas apartments. The pool, gym, office space, bar, and hallways were amazing! I toured the B1, the cheapest 2 bedroom floor plan. The unit was such a let down after seeing all of the amenities. The unit was incredibly dark due to poor design. The balcony walls blocked more than 50% of the sunlight that the unit desperately needed! It felt so depressing and unfortunately, each B1 apartment was built the same exact way. The 1,099 dark & depressing unit was priced at $2,770 (starting price). It was worth half this much! The Case was/is offering two months free of rent but in my opinion that is still not enough. The B2 unit is 1,364 square feet and priced at $3,365 (starting price). I did not tour that floor plan but I'm sure I would have loved it considering the balcony did not block out all light. I would definitely live in the B2 unit at the case if it were reasonably priced! It's such a let down that the units are priced unreasonably high. I understand that amenities, as great as the case's, will hike up rent, but not that much! Other than price and lack of natural light in B1, The Case is one of the best apartments I've toured. read more
