After waiting several days and paying over $800, I was told it was fixed. I wasn't. I called and left a message but never heard back from them. Needless to say, I will not be using them again. I then took it in to Casey's and he promised to look at it that day. The next morning, Casey called and said it was ready to be picked up. His pricing was very reasonable. I have a 1954 Chevy truck that i brought now twice to Casey for repairs. Both times the repairs where executed in a professional way exactly the way i wanted it. I love Auto repair shops who fix problems the first time where you do not have to go back again and again for the same problem. I have been to other places and all i got was a big bill and the problems where not solved. Casey is one of the few who still knows how to fix older cars even if they do not have a computer on board. I was looking for a local repair shop with the knowledge to work on my older vintage Ford truck and found Casey's by recommendation. This shop did extra work to my vehicle without calling me for authorization first. Added on work to the bill they didn't even do. They half-assed the original job I was paying them for. I had to have my truck TOWED to them to make it right. From then on I was yelled at and treated like a second class citizen for asking for them to make it right. I believe I was discriminated against because I am a female and have an alternative style. The owner refused to even look at my vehicle for the second time until my father reasoned with him. He used profanity with me and called my truck a "piece of sh$!". I was nothing but "yes sir Thankyou sir" respectful with him. I would NOT recommend this shop to my worst enemy. I had Casey's replace a fuel injection unit on my vehicle. Within 6 months, my in-tank fuel pump failed due to back pressure of up to 130 psi on the fuel line, which damaged the pump. The cause of the failure was this shop's failure to hook up the existing fuel return line to the new fuel injection unit, which would have kept the pressure at an acceptable level. When I brought this to shop's attention, I was told that they never hook up fuel return lines on fuel injector units and have not had any problems. I showed shop owner a page from the installation manual, which recommends "at least: a 3/8 inch feed line and return line. The shop owner still does not accept any responsibility for the problem or resulting damage. I won't be returning there under any circumstances. - Rating - 1 star - Poor read more

Well I am delighted to be the first to review Casey's Auto Repair. I inherited a 1962 Corvette from my parents when my Father passed away. I was in town staying at my Father's place and" googled" corvette repair shops. Murphy's popped up to my surprise. I was pretty surprised to find anyone that was familiar with corvettes up here in Prescott. I called and talked to Lewis, his employee and made an appointment to bring the car in for a service. upon arriving the following day I met Casey and immediately had a good feeling about the guy. I told him my concerns about the car and gave him a brief history of the work already done on the car. Casey seemed to know what he was doing so I left the car my Father bought my Mother brand new in 1962 with a stranger. When we went in the office he wrote down my name and phone number and I gave him the keys and that was that. I forgot he gave me a ride home. That doesn't happen where I come from. I called the next day and the car was ready to go. He came and picked me up and we went back to his shop. He explained everything he had done in great detail and then gave me the bill. I never ask his hourly labor rate as I just had a good feeling about him as I said earlier. I felt the bill was fair especially since I came away feeling like I had really met a knowledgable guy. I was shocked at how much better the car ran after the service. The next day I drove buy and stopped just to tell him everything was great. If you have a classic car that you want to get some some one to work on that is knowledgable and caring I recommend Casey highly. He struck me as an honest, no BS, knowledgable mechanical guy. He also was a bull rider for many years like my own Uncle and Grandfather were as well. I guess what I am trying to say is that he is quite a character. Go see for yourself. read more

WARNING: do NOT come here if you are gay/trans, alternative, etc.!!! The mechanics here are CLEARLY homophobic! My girlfriend and I brought her '95 truck here to get one (possibly 2) specific things fixed on it. It was the lower intake manifold and she notified them and asked for a quote. They quoted $300 for labor (she brought her own part in-- cleaned and everything). She dropped the truck off and asked if they could look at her starter and MAYBE replace that also IF it costed only about $100 more. They agreed. She goes back to pick it up and they charged her $715! Looking at the detailed invoice- she saw that they charged her for NUMEROUS extra things/parts she did not ask for OR get called to get a consent for! She paid and left because she was too shy to say something. Then, after bringing it home noticed some weird things: the engine still did not turn over with a key, even though it was on invoice, they replaced radiator cap for no reason when it had correct pressure already, causing spewing of coolant, the Check Engine light was on even though it never was before... charged for vacuum lines they did NOT replace...etc., she brought it back in notifying them of all these things and they yelled at her, told her she was rude from day one on the phone, and basically told her she was a liar for what they originally quoted her. All in front of her father who she brought the second time. They gave her so much attitude and turmoil for NO reason at all, telling her that her truck "is a piece of shit". How is that professional OR necessary?!? Absolutely uncalled for and hateful and ridiculous. She believes it was because she clearly looks androgynous/alternative. She was never rude on the phone. She is extremely respectful to people unless they are rude first, which they weren't until they laid EYES on her. Do not recommend businesses who discriminate against paying customers. read more

Love these guys , very hard workers. Very nice employees, and I love how they help me with being a woman and told me what was wrong with my car and the prices, and made sure I was ok with the price.
