The sauces are all homemade and in my opinion, they're really the star of the show. If you want to go all out you can get the "king's portion" double scoop sundae, but I appreciate that they also serve single scoop "queen's portions" for a slightly lower cost. The staff are always friendly and efficient, willing to make modifications so that you can craft the ice cream of your dreams. Worth noting is the very silly water station near the front door. Condrell's has always served tiny glasses of water, which is now offered in Dixie cups that you fill yourself. If you're trying to stay super hydrated these baby sized cups aren't going to meet your needs, but I have come to expect them and think they add to the charm of the venue.

The servers are extraordinarily patient and kind, which is even more impressive considering it was a hot July Tuesday. They do have a limit on samples, and I actually think that's a great thing... it keeps the line moving and makes people more deliberate about what they want to try. Once we sat down, we had some of the most delicious ice cream I've ever tasted in my life. We even took some pints home, and it was just as delicious there as it was in the shop.
