I really hate this place, their pumps ever work. It's so annoying, would give 0 stars if I could

The waiting area was comfortable and cool on a 95° day. The salad was crisp and the toppings were fresh making a salad that was visually appealing and delicious. Something that hit the spot were the toasted ravioli, a Midwest delight, and this one was a perfect dish.

About a year ago, on my way back from Shilo, IL I stopped by Rosati's. They offer a large slice of…read morepizza and a Drink for $5.00. It was after 1 pm and there were only 2 slices of cheese pizza in the case. The person at the counter said there were more pizzas in the oven and they would be up soon. It was worth the wait. The pepperoni pizza was hot and delicious even after traveling the 25 min. home. I told me wife about the deal and the experience..both being positive. Then, on two separate occasions, we went out of our way, while traveling, only to be disappointed because the deal is from 11 to 3:00. Today's experience...we arrived at 1:50 pm. We were excited because we were finally going to get the $5 deal. We went in the door and there was 1 slice of cheese pizza. I asked if more pizza was coming out. The gal behind the counter said no because it was a slow day and the pizza would go to waste. ( The lunch special was supposed to be valid for another 70 min. Any other restaurant will try to accomodate their patrons for lunch special up to and including 2:59.) There's counter person was not concerned about disappointing customers or even trying to show some empathy. We asked about ordering a pizza..."for here or to go"...."here"..."you have to order that in dining room". We discussed it while sitting and both felt that the person at the front counter need some customer relation training. Another person was working the dining area. She was very friendly. We placed our order for a 14" Classic Combo. It was ready in a reasonable amount of time. Our opinion, as we discussed it at length, is Rosati's has the best thin crust of all the pizza places we've eaten. Their sauce is a little tomato forward. They seem to care about the amount of toppings on the pizza. We did feel that the pie was light on the sausage. There was an ample amount of the other toppings including pepperoni. We noted the pepperoni tasted closer to bacon than the classic savory pepperoni flavor. And there was plenty of melty stringing cheese!!. I am really getting discouraged at the amount of money restaurants are charging for soft drinks. A 20oz soft drink costs the restaurant 5 to 15 cents for syrup and CO² and they charge the customer $3.75 to, in Rosati's cases $4.00. Ambiance...it's large and uses cold materials. Looks like a semi sports bar. Prices...on the higher end for pizza Wait staff...hit or miss... one good-one not so much. Food quality...(pizza) very good Lunch special...if you can get it, it's a great deal. The all important!! The left-over pizza is very good, cold straight from the refrigerator

In other words, it was not clean, but I believe it was not clean because it was so busy. The dining room was mostly full at 8 pm. It is a former Pizza Hut building and the tables and chairs reflect that. The service was great - very friendly and efficient. The food was great. We split a large supreme pizza and had two cokes. The cheese is mozzarella, the crust is a nice in-between type crust. The sauce is not too sweet or salty. The vegetables are FRESH and crunchy. The soda was fizzy, but did not skimp on the syrup. Dinner was just under $30 plus tip, which is unheard of these days. This place is a gem and we will be back. They have pasta which I look forward to trying.

The crust was incredible, perfectly cooked with amazing flavor. The sauce really stood out too. The cheese and toppings were balanced just right. We ordered spaghetti for our kids as well, and even they loved it! Coming from two very picky eaters, that says a lot! The pasta sauce has a unique taste with the perfect blend of spices, meat, and richness that you just don't find everywhere. The garlic sticks were puffy, soft, and coated in buttery garlic goodness. Everything about the food was on point. And can we talk about prices...It's so refreshing to find a place not charging $4 for a soda (theirs are $1.85 and Coke products). The overall pricing is very reasonable compared to other local spots. A family of four can eat well and leave satisfied for under $40, which is such a win. The only downside was the wait. They were packed at 5:30 on a Friday night, and we didn't leave until almost 7:30. That said, our waitress was very sweet and helpful the entire time. We'll definitely be back! Might be my new craving! Hats off to the chef and staff! I forgot the pictures because it was just THAT good!
