What a gem! I am so pleasantly surprised by the food choices in the Valpo area and I will be back,…read morebut I needed something light before some ice skating and the Rolling Stonebaker was in the perfect spot (THANKFULLY). I love a great wood fire pizza and this place is excellent. Small with a few tables, but filled with so many choices for both pizza, other items, and drinks. Love that they have a great spot to sell out of a window to those visiting the park area for events (SMART). The choices for pizzas had me wanting all of them, but I finally settled on the Sticky Finger and the Joker. I was so impressed with the Sticky Finger that I still think about those flavors all together. It was a perfect fit for my palate and I loved it. The Joker was also great and the hubby loved it. We had a peach old fashioned to share (needed that before busting our butts on the ice rink, liquid courage) and the staff was excellent with keeping our waters filled and making sure we were well taken care of. PROS: Great spot downtown, next to event center areas Wonderful choices to fit all tastebuds in pizza choices Cocktail choices that are fun CONS: Parking, at the center near the ice rink (you can walk there though)

It was the perfect bit of sweet & savory. Their vegan pizza is also quite delicious. It has a wide variety of toppings that make it so tasty. My husband got their Philly bread special and loved it so much. Unfortunately he went to get it again & it wasnt available. But we will be keeping an eye out for it! He got the potato Pizza & enjoyed it. Only downside is that it is on super thin crust. Not really a save for later thing since it makes it more soggy unless heated in an air fryer. The service is good too. They answer questions and are nice. Might just have a longer wait if its a busy time of day or weekend since theyre downtown.

Ordered a simple meal of 10 wings to go tonight. Specifically asked for them to be made crispy…read more The person taking the order read it back to me and confirmed extra crispy. These wings are the furthest thing from crispy I've ever seen. Super soft and soggy skin. I had to broil them in the air fryer to get them somewhat enjoyable. Took a shot on them for their wings and won't be doing that again.

I looked at the menu on the wall and then we proceeded to the counter underneath the Order sign. From the Pizzas section, we got a 12" Medium Cheese for $12.50. From the Apps section, they had Shoe Bites (garlic or cinnamon) for $4.99 and we chose garlic. From the same section, we got Onion Rings for $4.99. I ordered a diet pepsi for $2.89. We got to choose our table, so that was convenient. They started to bring out our order fairly fast. The diet pepsi was smooth and so was the free refill. The Onion Rings were crispy and full of flavor. I loved them. The Shoe Bites had a nice flow of garlic everywhere. I liked them. The 12" Medium Cheese came to the table looking fabulous. I was excited to grab a slice. The sauce and the cheese played together nicely. I was a fan of this pizza. The service was friendly and fast throughout my visit. I was impressed by that. Overall, this spot gave me some awesome food for some good prices. I would like to go back someday. Date of visit: 12/13/24

That being said, the pizzas with more toppings with a thicker cross seem to be really good. It's not the best pizza in the world, but really decent and the staff is always super friendly. Even on packed nights, they only have a couple servers, but the servers are fast. They really know how to hustle. It's pretty crowded in there on some nights places set up decently has a little stage in front in case they want to have a band. I like going there on Friday nights for karaoke. Just a heads up the place is super packed on a Friday evening, karaoke starts at seven and ends at 11. Everybody in their brother comes there for that to sing or just to sit and listen to other sing. The nice thing is is that since it is at a pizza place and it starts at seven anyone can sing, including children. The cutest youngest little girl I have seen sing did the K-pop demon hunters one of the songs from Matt and she was so adorable! Other kids have gotten up there and wow! They've blown me away with their voices and I feel funny going up there after them. There is a range of singers from new people that aren't the best at singing, but they love to sing and that's great! It takes a lot of courage to go up there. Everyone is super supportive and claps because like I said it's really hard to even go up there to even sing so the courage is really appreciated. It's such a friendly place and the owner is really nice and typically is working there too.

It's a corner lot and has its own parking lot. I was really surprised that we went on a random Friday night and were able to get in. It's not very large, but it seemed like they got people in and out pretty quick. I was told the garlic knots were amazing and the Alfredo sauce to die for. My friend was not wrong. I'd say the show stealer were the garlic knots. you had to pay extra for the Alfredo sauce but it was worth it. It was so good, I could've drank it. The knots were tender and covered in butter, cheese and garlic. Yum. The pizza crust was good, but I don't think the meatball topping was the best choice for me. We also got a side of onion rings because they were beer battered and I always have to try beer battered onion rings. It's very hard to find good ones and these definitely rank in the top 3 or 4 for me. I was disappointed that they didn't come with any sauce but there was a decent amount of them and they were super crispy. Very basic restaurant in a college area and with a visit for sure. If we go back I'll try one of their entrees.
