I have been wanting to try this place. I currently cant have dairy because of my daughter having an intolerance so we decided to eat here since they have vegan / dairy free options. The pricing isnt terrible for what you get. If you've never had fake cheese you can very clearly taste the difference. With this pizza it was not that noticeable. All the toppings blended well together. I would definitely try other vegan versions that they have next time I am looking to eat pizza. My husband got the buffalo chicken pizza & loved it. Their pizza most definitely tastes good & it smells amazing too. The inside is very spacious & the lighting is nice in there. They also have multiple people working to make sure everyone is well taken care of. I would recommend this place for sit down & for take out. Their menu is nice & diverse and they get things done in a timely manner. Only issue I really see if that the parking lot can get packed. But that can happen anywhere.

The name surely drew curiosity, so I almost had to try this place. I was hoping for something tasty with a unique flavor. My significant other and I walked inside and we were seated fairly fast. From the Beverages section, I went with a Diet Coke for 2.95. From the Oven-Baked Sandwiches section, we decided to get the Dirty Bird to share. It was 13.95 and had Chicken, cheddar, provolone, mushrooms, banana peppers, onion, green peppers, herb mayo, lettuce, tomato on pita bread. From the Specialty Craft Pies section, we went with a 10 Inch Good Ole' Boy to share. It was 15.95 and had Red sauce base, mozzarella, provolone, pepperoni, mushrooms, red onion, pineapple, jalapeño peppers. The Diet Coke was decent and so was the free refill. I was surprised at how large the Dirty Bird was at first sight. It was excellent. All of the flavors mashed together perfectly. The Good Ole' Boy was packed with flavor. I enjoyed the texture of the crust. This item was also excellent. The service was alright. I think an improvement should be made in that area. Overall, I really enjoyed this place. I would like to come back and explore the menu more. Date of visit: 12/22/24

Recommended by a local we decided to try this place. Very good service and food. The menu is quite unique and offers only salads, sandwiches, calzones and pizza pies. We tried the calzones and were very good but are so large 2 people can split one! The ambiance is a bar like atmosphere and has a full service bar. The calzones are a very heavy meal. Kids menu only offers cheese bread and you can add toppings for extra cost.

I usually get the portabella sandwich (my fave!) but we got pizza last night! So good!! Always get the Homer donuts. Waitstaff good and attentive. Food always quick and hot! Love the layout!

We stopped on a road trip and wanted a place we haven't tried before. The place smelled great and had a new feel to it. The decorations were zany and cute. The service was fantastic and really fast. Honestly a lot about the location was just great. We ordered the cheese bread appetizer. It was really just herbs and cheese melted on a small loaf of bread. It tasted good, don't get me wrong, it was just underwhelming. The red sauce that came with it was good, a little sweet for my taste. For entrees we had the Portobello and the Cheesesteak Oven baked sandwiches. We didn't want anything too heavy before continuing our long drive. The sandwiches come out on a small tray as a pair packed into pita bread for each order. The portions were decent sized, but the sandwiches do not come with any sides. I actually don't recall seeing any sides on the menu, but I may have missed them. The pita was soft and rather tasty. The cheesesteak was decent, but maybe I have been spoiled by some amazing cheesesteak in the past because I was not really wowed by it. The portobello was actually the better of the two sandwiches. The flavoring was more robust and it made you want another bite. All in, it's a good place to stop for a quick bite. There are so many options on the menu that I am sure if I had more time I would have found something I loved there. Let me know what you loved there if you stop in.

We ordered a magic potion pizza with no sausage, cheese steak sandwich and a Greek salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. The cheese steak was huge and meaty.

I just LOVE the food and the service at this place!! It's always very busy here, which means I'm not the only one who knows how great it is! The atmosphere is always fun and boisterous - great for groups. The servers have always been friendly and fun, too, which is great! Excellent experience overall! Oh, and the pizza is even better on day two (if you can make yourself wait that long!)

I have started my pizza tour of Valparaiso, a town with so many mom and pop pizza places to try. A friend of mine recommended Tomato Bar, which also has 2 other locations in northwest Indiana. I have had 2 types of pizza from the Tomato Bar, Good Ole Boy and Heavy Soul. The Good Ole Boy comes with red sauce, pepperoni, jalapenos, and pineapple. Heavy Soul is the BBQ pizza with chicken, bacon, and onions. Both pizzas had merit but the Heavy Soul is what I am going to rave about. The BBQ sauce base is thick, sweet, and a surprisingly superb BBQ sauce that I would expect from a BBQ joint. I have had a few BBQ pizzas over the years that use a thin BBQ sauce and that doesn't work on pizza. The waitress let me sample some of the sauce bases. Beside the BBQ and red sauce, I sampled the Spicy Alfredo and the Red-Buffalo mix. I hated the Spicy Alfredo. I wish I could be more descriptive about it but I just simply hated it. The Red-Buffalo mix wasn't much different from the red sauce in my opinion. Do not use the drive-thru. You will have several employees walk by and not notice you at all. It is better to go in and pick up for carryout.

Got a Bianco pizza to go and loved it! They didn't allow any replacements on the pizza, just add ons. So we got mushrooms removed & another type of cheese added on. Overall awesome flavor & so fresh. I didn't go inside the restaurant but the ambience and vibe looked awesome from the outside. Would definitely go here once I'm in the area again!

Food was good. Service was good. I was disappointed in how loud it was; it kind of ruined the whole meal for me.

My gluten free heaven! This has been a mainstay since they had their original location with a…read moredine-in option. They are now located near Clark and Diversey (in Lakeview still) and carry-out only. There is street parking and is located by plenty of restaurants, bars, and other shops. When waiting for your order, there are some window seats to hang out in. Interior is very clean and organized. Staff super super nice and helpful. I got a latte and the smashed avocado toast with a poached egg. It came with a side salad. It was all VERY good. The toast was perfection - can't believe it was gluten-free. I highly recommend any of their items - you won't be disappointed.

BLUF: Dine-in prices and take-out only! Gluten Free…read more Food (1/5): The lemon poppyseed donut was their only redeeming item. The spicy chicken sandwich $21 was extremely soggy and chewy, and their "spicy" part is just hot sauce. It had no flavor. It was such a disappointment. And the "side salad" wow. ok. drowned in vinaigrette. The Wheat's End Skillet $22 was mid. Not spicy, bread wasn't good, and their veggies were mush. Service (1/5): There was a guy and a girl working and the girl was on coffee duty, while the guy was just taking orders and talking about lotion and soft hands. It was so weird. Ambiance (2/5): At least there's like 3 seats to sit on while you wait for your food. Other than that, it's just an "order, wait 25 mins, and take your soggy food home" place. They are a gluten free place too. Everything is put into Styrofoam take-out boxes. The prices are dine-in prices for soggy, flavorless food. I understand gluten free ingredients are expensive, but $22 for a skillet where 3 (eggs, bacon, and veggies) out of the 4 items (eggs, bacon, veggies, and bread) are already naturally gluten free is disappointing. I felt ripped off. @meni - Thanks for the comment! Cute business name! ;)
