I have been wanting to try this place. I currently cant have dairy because of my daughter having an intolerance so we decided to eat here since they have vegan / dairy free options. The pricing isnt terrible for what you get. If you've never had fake cheese you can very clearly taste the difference. With this pizza it was not that noticeable. All the toppings blended well together. I would definitely try other vegan versions that they have next time I am looking to eat pizza. My husband got the buffalo chicken pizza & loved it. Their pizza most definitely tastes good & it smells amazing too. The inside is very spacious & the lighting is nice in there. They also have multiple people working to make sure everyone is well taken care of. I would recommend this place for sit down & for take out. Their menu is nice & diverse and they get things done in a timely manner. Only issue I really see if that the parking lot can get packed. But that can happen anywhere.

The name surely drew curiosity, so I almost had to try this place. I was hoping for something tasty with a unique flavor. My significant other and I walked inside and we were seated fairly fast. From the Beverages section, I went with a Diet Coke for 2.95. From the Oven-Baked Sandwiches section, we decided to get the Dirty Bird to share. It was 13.95 and had Chicken, cheddar, provolone, mushrooms, banana peppers, onion, green peppers, herb mayo, lettuce, tomato on pita bread. From the Specialty Craft Pies section, we went with a 10 Inch Good Ole' Boy to share. It was 15.95 and had Red sauce base, mozzarella, provolone, pepperoni, mushrooms, red onion, pineapple, jalapeño peppers. The Diet Coke was decent and so was the free refill. I was surprised at how large the Dirty Bird was at first sight. It was excellent. All of the flavors mashed together perfectly. The Good Ole' Boy was packed with flavor. I enjoyed the texture of the crust. This item was also excellent. The service was alright. I think an improvement should be made in that area. Overall, I really enjoyed this place. I would like to come back and explore the menu more. Date of visit: 12/22/24

Recommended by a local we decided to try this place. Very good service and food. The menu is quite unique and offers only salads, sandwiches, calzones and pizza pies. We tried the calzones and were very good but are so large 2 people can split one! The ambiance is a bar like atmosphere and has a full service bar. The calzones are a very heavy meal. Kids menu only offers cheese bread and you can add toppings for extra cost.

I usually get the portabella sandwich (my fave!) but we got pizza last night! So good!! Always get the Homer donuts. Waitstaff good and attentive. Food always quick and hot! Love the layout!

We stopped on a road trip and wanted a place we haven't tried before. The place smelled great and had a new feel to it. The decorations were zany and cute. The service was fantastic and really fast. Honestly a lot about the location was just great. We ordered the cheese bread appetizer. It was really just herbs and cheese melted on a small loaf of bread. It tasted good, don't get me wrong, it was just underwhelming. The red sauce that came with it was good, a little sweet for my taste. For entrees we had the Portobello and the Cheesesteak Oven baked sandwiches. We didn't want anything too heavy before continuing our long drive. The sandwiches come out on a small tray as a pair packed into pita bread for each order. The portions were decent sized, but the sandwiches do not come with any sides. I actually don't recall seeing any sides on the menu, but I may have missed them. The pita was soft and rather tasty. The cheesesteak was decent, but maybe I have been spoiled by some amazing cheesesteak in the past because I was not really wowed by it. The portobello was actually the better of the two sandwiches. The flavoring was more robust and it made you want another bite. All in, it's a good place to stop for a quick bite. There are so many options on the menu that I am sure if I had more time I would have found something I loved there. Let me know what you loved there if you stop in.

We ordered a magic potion pizza with no sausage, cheese steak sandwich and a Greek salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. The cheese steak was huge and meaty.

I just LOVE the food and the service at this place!! It's always very busy here, which means I'm not the only one who knows how great it is! The atmosphere is always fun and boisterous - great for groups. The servers have always been friendly and fun, too, which is great! Excellent experience overall! Oh, and the pizza is even better on day two (if you can make yourself wait that long!)

I have started my pizza tour of Valparaiso, a town with so many mom and pop pizza places to try. A friend of mine recommended Tomato Bar, which also has 2 other locations in northwest Indiana. I have had 2 types of pizza from the Tomato Bar, Good Ole Boy and Heavy Soul. The Good Ole Boy comes with red sauce, pepperoni, jalapenos, and pineapple. Heavy Soul is the BBQ pizza with chicken, bacon, and onions. Both pizzas had merit but the Heavy Soul is what I am going to rave about. The BBQ sauce base is thick, sweet, and a surprisingly superb BBQ sauce that I would expect from a BBQ joint. I have had a few BBQ pizzas over the years that use a thin BBQ sauce and that doesn't work on pizza. The waitress let me sample some of the sauce bases. Beside the BBQ and red sauce, I sampled the Spicy Alfredo and the Red-Buffalo mix. I hated the Spicy Alfredo. I wish I could be more descriptive about it but I just simply hated it. The Red-Buffalo mix wasn't much different from the red sauce in my opinion. Do not use the drive-thru. You will have several employees walk by and not notice you at all. It is better to go in and pick up for carryout.

Got a Bianco pizza to go and loved it! They didn't allow any replacements on the pizza, just add ons. So we got mushrooms removed & another type of cheese added on. Overall awesome flavor & so fresh. I didn't go inside the restaurant but the ambience and vibe looked awesome from the outside. Would definitely go here once I'm in the area again!

I love a great wood fire pizza and this place is excellent. Small with a few tables, but filled with so many choices for both pizza, other items, and drinks. Love that they have a great spot to sell out of a window to those visiting the park area for events (SMART). The choices for pizzas had me wanting all of them, but I finally settled on the Sticky Finger and the Joker. I was so impressed with the Sticky Finger that I still think about those flavors all together. It was a perfect fit for my palate and I loved it. The Joker was also great and the hubby loved it. We had a peach old fashioned to share (needed that before busting our butts on the ice rink, liquid courage) and the staff was excellent with keeping our waters filled and making sure we were well taken care of. PROS: Great spot downtown, next to event center areas Wonderful choices to fit all tastebuds in pizza choices Cocktail choices that are fun CONS: Parking, at the center near the ice rink (you can walk there though)

Huge stone pizza oven that they make so many delicious menu items in. We ordered the mixed greens salad with dried apricots, goat cheese & almonds. It came with a balsamic & oil dressing. The container was too small for the salad. It was difficult to add dressing without losing half the salad. I shook up the dressing, but the balsamic vinegar was stuck to the container. They gladly gave me another dressing. Pizza was great & so was the crispy crust. We got the roasted corn pizza. So delicious. Fresh cilantro & jalapeños. It tasted like the herbs & veggies were just picked. It's small, so sized for 1 unless you get more to eat. The key lime triffle was so good. Homemade whipped cream. Pound cake, & key lime filling was rich, but refreshing. Triple X root beer hit the spot too. We didn't have any cocktails, but the menu had many different kinds that sounded amazing.

Even on packed nights, they only have a couple servers, but the servers are fast. They really know how to hustle. It's pretty crowded in there on some nights places set up decently has a little stage in front in case they want to have a band. I like going there on Friday nights for karaoke. Just a heads up the place is super packed on a Friday evening, karaoke starts at seven and ends at 11. Everybody in their brother comes there for that to sing or just to sit and listen to other sing. The nice thing is is that since it is at a pizza place and it starts at seven anyone can sing, including children. The cutest youngest little girl I have seen sing did the K-pop demon hunters one of the songs from Matt and she was so adorable! Other kids have gotten up there and wow! They've blown me away with their voices and I feel funny going up there after them. There is a range of singers from new people that aren't the best at singing, but they love to sing and that's great! It takes a lot of courage to go up there. Everyone is super supportive and claps because like I said it's really hard to even go up there to even sing so the courage is really appreciated. It's such a friendly place and the owner is really nice and typically is working there too.

What I saw was I felt like one of the saddest looking buffets I've ever seen. The buffet was 2 tables pushed together, a bowl of salad, a basket of breadsticks, individual marinara sauces, and 2 or 3 very large pizzas under a heat lamp. The presentation may not have been great but it turned out to be better than it looked. The ranch for the salad seemed to be made in house. When the pizza was freshly put on the buffet, the pizza was great. If it had been sitting under the heat lamp, it was not desirable as it was hard to chew. The price was ok for $12 with a water.
