Spectacular. From the first bite, you can tell they use quality ingredients, not just what a distributor pushes their way. The building is well remodeled with a red brick veneer wall, nice furnishings, great lighting, and an outdoor seating area. The staff was very courteous and attentive, even when the Friday rush arrived as we were finishing our meal. Our server was well versed on the meals, their ingredients, prep, and provided helpful recommendations. Our appetizer was the meatballs. Made on site, the meat was flavorful but lean. The sauce made my wife go "wow," and the cheese was fresh and delicious. The appetizer arrived well before the meal, so we could enjoy it without being rushed. My wife ordered a Detroit pizza while I ordered the Johnny Boy sandwich. The waitress immediately asked and recommended ricotta cheese for the pizza, an excellent recommendation. The pizza arrived, well more than 1 person could eat, with a perfect buttery deep pan crust, a great sause, and again cheeses that were definately not from a distributor as they were fresh and with a complex flavor profile not found in something from a restaurant distributor. My Johnny Boy sandwich had thinly sliced meats cooked perfectly. The peppers were also cooked perfectly with a fully cooked flavor in a pepper slice that still was firm without being crunchy. The bread was so distinctive I shared a tear off with my wife, again something deliberately chosen by the chef for its quality. The fries were comparable to those from 5 Guys without being excessively oily. The waitress said the restaurant has been in this location for 4 years, unfortunately we just found it today. A fantastic addition to the Valparaiso food

Came into this place as a backup plan, but was not disappointed. The cheesy bread was warm with lots of garlic. The penne w/ vodka sauce and the shrimp Alfredo were both very creamy and fresh tasting. The shrimp were big and had a good seasoning on them. The bow tie noodles in the alfredo were an awesome change as-well. The service was fast and the restaurant was clean. I will be coming back to try the pizza eventually. Only gets a 4/5 because the price to portion size is very small. Paid 19.50 for the Alfredo

Everyone brags about this place, but we were hardly impressed. We ordered 2 salads which were good (just typical salad). I ordered the rubbed wings. They came out looking amazing. Uh, no! They had absolutely no flavor. He got pizza and said he'd had better out of a box which is what his tastes like. The beer prices were too high in comparison to other restaurants in our area. The wait staff acted like they were annoyed we were there and then acted as if they did us a favor serving us. Just not friendly. They still got a good tip but didn't deserve it. After waiting for them to open, and then giving them time to get in a good flow, we were sadly disappointed. We won't be back. Much better food, drinks, & staff anywhere else in Valpo.

So delicious like always. The service was amazing not rushed not slow just right. Today was an odd day Christmas music playing but it was still a peaceful setting.

I came here last night with my family and had a great experience. First the place is really clean and thats really important to me. We had garlic knots as an appetizer and they came out quick and were delicious. We had the 20 inch pizza as our main course and the pizza was to die for. If you enjoy a great crust then this is a pizza you need to try. It was raining last night so we didnt get to try the patio area. This place is well worth checking out.

It was amazing! We got the fried feta for an appetizer and it was so good! The place was clean, the server was super nice and it's just a nice little place to pop in, dot and have great food! Definitely will be back! The pizza shown is their SMALLEST, so it's an awesome deal!

I love a great wood fire pizza and this place is excellent. Small with a few tables, but filled with so many choices for both pizza, other items, and drinks. Love that they have a great spot to sell out of a window to those visiting the park area for events (SMART). The choices for pizzas had me wanting all of them, but I finally settled on the Sticky Finger and the Joker. I was so impressed with the Sticky Finger that I still think about those flavors all together. It was a perfect fit for my palate and I loved it. The Joker was also great and the hubby loved it. We had a peach old fashioned to share (needed that before busting our butts on the ice rink, liquid courage) and the staff was excellent with keeping our waters filled and making sure we were well taken care of. PROS: Great spot downtown, next to event center areas Wonderful choices to fit all tastebuds in pizza choices Cocktail choices that are fun CONS: Parking, at the center near the ice rink (you can walk there though)

Huge stone pizza oven that they make so many delicious menu items in. We ordered the mixed greens salad with dried apricots, goat cheese & almonds. It came with a balsamic & oil dressing. The container was too small for the salad. It was difficult to add dressing without losing half the salad. I shook up the dressing, but the balsamic vinegar was stuck to the container. They gladly gave me another dressing. Pizza was great & so was the crispy crust. We got the roasted corn pizza. So delicious. Fresh cilantro & jalapeños. It tasted like the herbs & veggies were just picked. It's small, so sized for 1 unless you get more to eat. The key lime triffle was so good. Homemade whipped cream. Pound cake, & key lime filling was rich, but refreshing. Triple X root beer hit the spot too. We didn't have any cocktails, but the menu had many different kinds that sounded amazing.

We got to choose our table, so that was convenient. They started to bring out our order fairly fast. The diet pepsi was smooth and so was the free refill. The Onion Rings were crispy and full of flavor. I loved them. The Shoe Bites had a nice flow of garlic everywhere. I liked them. The 12" Medium Cheese came to the table looking fabulous. I was excited to grab a slice. The sauce and the cheese played together nicely. I was a fan of this pizza. The service was friendly and fast throughout my visit. I was impressed by that. Even on packed nights, they only have a couple servers, but the servers are fast. They really know how to hustle. It's pretty crowded in there on some nights places set up decently has a little stage in front in case they want to have a band. I like going there on Friday nights for karaoke. Just a heads up the place is super packed on a Friday evening, karaoke starts at seven and ends at 11. Everybody in their brother comes there for that to sing or just to sit and listen to other sing. The nice thing is is that since it is at a pizza place and it starts at seven anyone can sing, including children. The cutest youngest little girl I have seen sing did the K-pop demon hunters one of the songs from Matt and she was so adorable! Other kids have gotten up there and wow! They've blown me away with their voices and I feel funny going up there after them. There is a range of singers from new people that aren't the best at singing, but they love to sing and that's great! It takes a lot of courage to go up there. Everyone is super supportive and claps because like I said it's really hard to even go up there to even sing so the courage is really appreciated. It's such a friendly place and the owner is really nice and typically is working there too.

What I saw was I felt like one of the saddest looking buffets I've ever seen. The presentation may not have been great but it turned out to be better than it looked. The ranch for the salad seemed to be made in house. When the pizza was freshly put on the buffet, the pizza was great. If it had been sitting under the heat lamp, it was not desirable as it was hard to chew. The price was ok for $12 with a water.
