Cost me $215 to get my car back. I found out that there is a "one-hour rule"-- it is prohibited by CA Vechicle Code section 22953 to tow in less than one hour for this type of parking violation. This is to prevent people from being stranded and create dangerous situations for people when other remedies such as ticketing are available. Cash 1 said they did not know of this law. I called North Main Towing and they also told me there was no such thing as the one hour rule (until I called them back with the vehicle code section). Cash 1 is liable for twice my towing costs-- they owe me $430 for violating this law. I commented to North Main Tow that they must be towing everyday from Cash 1 since it is a very busy parking area, and they did not disagree with this-- said that "we do tow there regularly". I want people to know about this law so they can get their money back from Cash 1 (plus penalty) if they were towed illegally. North Main Towing (925-933-7670) has the towing authorization record which includes the time the vehicle was first observed on the property and the time authorized. The difference between these two times must be greater than 60 minutes or Cash 1 was in violation of the law. You may have to take Cash 1 to small claims court to get your money back.

I now get to spend my weekend figuring out which auto pays I need to switch before my bill payments get rejected, because the part is - they changed my card at the end of the month. You know, when bills are due? Apparently I have 3 days to change all of my payments before my current card is deactivated - information that was not sent to me with the new card, but rather, that I had to wait 30 minutes on hold to find out from their call center. I've been a member for 15 years and this has been the encouragement I needed to end my membership with Travis.

Unacceptable Discriminatory Treatment - Angel Liu…read more I am the CEO of an international security firm with offices around the US and Mexico.... I visited the Pleasant Hill Citibank branch on January 31, 2026 to make a routine deposit for a long-standing customer who has banked with Citibank for over 20 years. I was assisted by teller Angel Liu. What should have been a simple transaction became deeply troubling. Ms. Liu made unprofessional comments about the account holder's name, suggesting it "didn't sound right" and appeared to be "multiple people." When she asked if it was a Spanish name and I confirmed the account holder was Mexican, her entire demeanor changed immediately. She became noticeably hostile and ultimately denied the transaction without valid justification. This treatment was discriminatory, unprofessional, and unacceptable. A customer's ethnic background should have absolutely no bearing on how they are treated by bank staff. The account holder has maintained their account in good standing for two decades and deserves the same respectful service as any other customer. I am extremely disappointed that this occurred at a Citibank branch in California, and I expect the bank to take this matter seriously. Discriminatory behavior has no place in banking or any customer service environment. I recommend not being a customer here and will be filing a formal complaint with Citibank management and considering further action if necessary.
