The process was slow, the information he retrieved was incorrect, and the communication was unclear, and I about lost faith this was the right back. I decided to go into my local branch, and within an hour my loan was researched, approved and funded. What took two weeks without resolution, she completed in less then 60 minutes. She was patient, spoke clearly, had a great disposition. Because of her not only was my loan funded, when the time came for a new credit card, working with her and this bank was a no brainer. travis cu changed my debit card details without warning and without permission. And not for a security risk or any legitimate reason- simply because they have a new logo for their debit cards. I now get to spend my weekend figuring out which auto pays I need to switch before my bill payments get rejected, because the part is - they changed my card at the end of the month. You know, when bills are due? Apparently I have 3 days to change all of my payments before my current card is deactivated - information that was not sent to me with the new card, but rather, that I had to wait 30 minutes on hold to find out from their call center. I've been a member for 15 years and this has been the encouragement I needed to end my membership with Travis. read more

He just took my info and got everything set up right away. Selina, the branch manager, also helped me get approved for a credit builder even though my credit wasn't great. Travis CU has terrific, helpful people and they give prompt service. They've been able to issue me a replacement debit card on the spot, and quickly handled a few tricky, unusual situations that came up. The rates aren't quite as good as some of the mega-banks, but you'll never have to wait on hold for ages to talk to someone in a call center. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. BE AWARE They will discriminate against you during the lending process for your race/religion and other identifying factors that violate the Equal Opportunity Credit Act. They literally had me sign a contract, open a card issued the line of credit issued and even had the card showing up in my account. Then the loan person that had an issue with me personally decided to suspend my card and funding which is now negatively affecting my credit situation because of it. They treated me like a criminal after an approval...I have a 706 score and it was an instant approval with no income docs required...Then everything changed when 1 person got involved well after I was approved...PLEASE SAVE YOURELF THE TROUBLE!! This is more a review of the legal department of Travis. Just to be clear, my interactions with the branch manager Selina and her staff was AMAZING. A little back story, I had to take over mortgage on my sisters house because she passed. In January of 2024 I submitted all the paperwork "successor in interest " and submitted both my sisters will and trust to prove I was named trustee.So fast forward almost a year later, I have NICOLE calling me asking for all the paperwork again. There is a huge disconnect from what happens in the branch to what happens in the back office . She continues to keep calling, but in that time I did sell the house and have ppwk to show mortgage was paid in full February. NICOLE called me today with attitude demanding some form of payment. I did tell her it's her problem and to never call me again. This was the hardest thing I've been through. They DID NOT make this process painless. read more

I just went in here to cash my first paycheck. The company I work for is a member here, and I'm not. The check was for a little over $765. They wouldn't cash it at first without verifying with the member, who of course isn't going to answer a call from a random number. I had gone in here the day before and was told I just need a second form of ID to cash a check. When I asked another representative what the process is for cashing checks she went on about how she doesn't know my status at MY bank, but... That's about when I decided to stop trying to be patient. Then the three of them at the counter wouldn't tell me the rude girls name so I could make a complaint. Then the manager Cindy came up to try and shut me up because yeah bitches, i am broke and I don't deserve your rudeness. Thanks for making me cry over my first paycheck. Too bad I could not give a 0 star rating. This review is not for the local Travis at Pleasant Hill, I think they are fine but Travis online banking is absolutely terrible. For the past 2-3 years, when I went online to check the status of my account, I was constantly locked out, trying to reset the password online failed until I was able to speak to a live person the next day or after weekends since I checked my account after hours. This time I was locked out again and tried to reset password failed again and again. Called and spoke to an agent and she started asking where and when the account was opened so I told her must be 15-20 years ago when my my worked at a university, then she asked me where I received my Social Security number and I told her not sure in Los Angeles or Chicago. Hello, that was 40-50 years ago. So she told me to go to the local branch to solve the issue. Yes, I'll go to to the local branch and close the account. read more

This company really need to take a look at itself, let me give you some hints on where to look. Your mobile & Web apps are absolute garbage. The UI is impossible to understand and for some reason you have no actual way to pay the loans on there anyways. You've somehow made an extra account that I must move money into inorder for me to pay my own bill??? What?? I've attempted many times to pay my bill through the quick pay, which seem to be the only thing that works sometimes.. You charge hidden late fees.. And you charge me just for PAYING THE BILL???? WHO DOES THAT?? "Convenience fee"??? Your payment options are awful, you're literally not convenient by any means.. how is this company even legitimately still operating?? Actually, you must be racking in lots with all those hidden fees.. Every month I have to relive this nightmare of a payment.. read more

Over the past 10 years, my experience with Travis Credit Union has ranged from mediocre to terrible. But about two weeks ago I had an awesome experience thanks to Aaron Rodriguez at the Pleasant Hill location. There was nothing complicated about what we needed done with our accounts closing out one and getting a replacement card after finding some fraudulent activity. But Aaron still gave us top notch care, he greeted us within minutes of coming in and was incredibly friendly, he was great at setting expectations and explaining what he was doing and he was able to keep up a lively and friendly conversation while he was processing our transactions. I haven't received that kind of care hardly anywhere in quite sometime and never at Travis CU. I had to let Aaron and his manager know how awesome it was to get treated so well. Never had any issues with anyone inside the branch itself. When it comes to everything else I HATE THIS COMPANY. Seems every 2 months I'm getting harassed to yet again submit a declaration page with their name as the lien holder, I submit it time and time again and still they try to force a CPI premium. I HAVE NEVER HAD A LAPSE IN MY INSURANCE ( been with this company since 2017) AND HAVE GROWN BEYOND TIRED OF THEM. At my wits end with them, seems the only way to go is to seek some sort of legal action. read more

If I could give this Credit Union a 0 if I could, I fell on hard times and had to file a Chapter 13, I still had funds in this bank but they immediately shut me out of my accounts, people fall hard sometimes and they should not be treated like third-class citizens not second-class but third, at any rate I have contacted them and requested that my funds be sent to me in a check it has been over 10 days since they claim they mailed it. While talking to the young lady on the phone she did say that they would be sending it snail mail, I used to work for the Post Office I have recently retired and as I said I fell on Hard Times. Snail mail does not take 10 days or 15 days as is I was told this on February 20st 2020 oh, it is now March 2nd 2020, all the interest and banking I did over the last 28 years didn't matter to these people. Hard Times Hard Times and there's nothing I could do about it except what I had to do. However this Bank could send out a notification to me and it gets to me and no time but now that I'm no longer a part of their affiliation because of my situation they have chosen to snail mail me. read more
