My fist appliance order from Lowes caused me headache, aggravation and lost time. I ordered a stove for my rental property 2 months in advance. Delivery schedule for June 6 2026 7am-7pm. On Jun 6th called Lowe's 10:30am to provide closer window and explain that I do not live at the property. They assured I have nothing to worry about and their protocol is for the driver to call when they are about 30min away. Received a call from delivery person at 12:30pm saying they are outside. Luckly I was couple blocks away driving to the property so I explained I will be there in 10 min. They acknowledged and hanged up. Got to the apartment at 12:40pm 10 min later and they were not there!!! Called delivery guy multiple times and no answer. Called Lowe's delivery support who indicated delivery company marked my order as 'non delivered' and can't be back today. Called two additional extensions at Lowe's, called delivery company, waisted 2h on the phone to hear over and over that they can't do anything. At 5pm received a call from Lowe's to confirm stove delivery for tomorrow Sunday??? They rescheduled on my behalf for Sunday delivery unbelievable. While I explained to everyone on the call that I live in a different town and unavailable to come back on Sunday. This was the worst experience ever, unacceptable service, how they stay in business treating preferred customers like this? This was my first and last order from Lowes.

When we walked in, we noticed one of their employees was busy reading reviews online. However he had no interest in talking to customers. I wonder how that will go over....oh here we are now. The other man that was working the counter wasn't very helpful at all. I asked what the differences between the sizes of the trucks are in the parking lot so I could go outside to see how much bigger one is to the other and he simply said "one is bigger than the other." I asked him "How can I tell by looking at the ones in the parking lot such as the gross weight on the outside of the vehicles?" Again all I got was a simple answer of one is bigger than the other. what I wanted to do was go home in the parking lot and look and see if one was a big difference in size or just a slight bit bigger but I couldn't get an answer from him. It's like he wasn't listening to me funny because I never said I want the insurance yet to put it on for two days cost me an additional $24. When we went back to complain that we were never asked about the insurance they simply said too late it's on there there's nothing we can change that is terrible terrible customer service. Specially since we never got good service from walking in. We weren't even asked if we wanted the additional items that they sold or rented there. It seems their goal was to get us in and out as fast as possible so they could go back to reading reviews. Well now you got some reading to do. I have rented trucks before from these rental companies and most will walk around the parking lot asking you what size you feel comfortable with if you're not sure what size you need. They also ask if you need additional services where you're moving from and to to get an idea of what they can sell you of course but it is a more helpful experience when they do it that way. The lady that worked there that helped with returning the truck was much more pleasant and personable. even though we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes to return the truck was still a better experience than getting in and out quickly in the beginning because she took the time to treat us like customers not inconveniences.it's not that we need any services at the time. My recommendation if you go here and know exactly what you need before you go there and make sure they don't rip your by pushing insurance on you without even asking you. Because if you need any help from them judging by who I had you won't get any. I think the worst part of all I was even busy when you went to pick up the truck You can imagine how bad service would be when they actually are busy.
