We had a wonderful time at Reno Accent social located at the mall. We came to visit from Northern California and had a blast. We purchased the additional ninja stars and daggers to throw along with the axes and that just increased the amount of fun we had. What I really liked about this place was the option to have different themes and backgrounds along with games that we could play. Any other places I've gone for ax throwing have simply been the bull's-eye on the wooden board so this was really fun for us. We will definitely be back the next time we come to Reno for a trip.

We've been going to Reno axe bar since Halloween 2019 & have gone every year since visiting our great friends in Reno . We were there this past weekend celebrating my friend's leap year birthday . As always we always have an enjoyable time at Reno Axe & the hospitality is always warm & welcoming. The team members that work here are outstanding from Alex , Mike & Natalie very good instructors when it comes to showing you the basic moves of throwing an axe & safety . Alex is our all time favorite bartender & he's genuinely got the best positive vibe very respectful & runs a very clean bar always wiping down bar top & tending to his patrons. Alex has a following & he's good at what he does very knowledgeable in the art of making fantastic drinks & taking care of his guests.. Mike & Natalie are very knowledgeable instructors & tending to all the boards & guest who come here! We've only had maybe two snafu's in the six years we've been coming here but the great experiences outweigh the bad. Oh ! You know we will most definitely be coming back ! Make sure you make reservations & fill out the waiver & wear closed toe shoes you don't want your toe chopped off while an axe bounces off the board . Have FUN & HAPPY axe throwing!!! Yes, they have food from Liberty house next door & it's phenomenal another one of our favorite places .

While in Reno recently visiting my girls, we were in the mood for a little fun so after searching the local options we decided on Reno Axe & Social and it was such a great experience. The staff were friendly and super helpful. They took the time to teach each one of us the proper way to aim and throw and were very patient. The location also offers a full bar, great music and a nice vibe. Their rates were also very reasonable considering what other "not highly rated" locations are offering. We will be sure to visit again and will also keep them in mind the next time we plan a group outing/event/celebration. P.S. conveniently located downtown!!

Fun night out spot with a small group or for a date. Friendly service and clean facility. Time starts when you get to your lane which is super great for allowing time to grab drinks and socialize as you make your way to the axe throwing side of the bar.

My friends came from out of town to bowl in the Women's Nationals. I love bowling with all my heart and soul, but my next favorite activity is throwing axes and drinking beer. We had the best time, we reserved the space for two hours which was plenty of time! If you got a bullseye you got your picture taken was a game we played! The staff are super nice, gave our group a quick lesson and we were ready to go. Don't forget close toe shoes, but you can rent shoes too. The bartenders are super friendly and happy to serve you with a big smile! If you are looking for a fun way to spend your day in Reno look no further this is the place for you! BTW, I won all three games!

We had such a great time. Came in about 10pm. We were greeted and trained by Michael. He was such a great help. He showed patience and was very knowledgeable and extremely kind. I even hit the 8 before we left. And if you know, you know that's a big deal. Definitely would recommend and would absolutely come back. Give Michael a raise or a promotion!!! Until next time RenoAxe. Sincerely, A forever customer (unless Michael gets fired )

Had a fun double date night at Social. We grabbed a couple of drinks and played the games in Social and then went upstairs to Axe. It was $27 per person for 30 minutes so we decided not to throw but the downstairs bar was so fun with good drink specials! Definitely a great place to hang out, grab some drinks, and play a game or two!

What a fun way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon. Great downtown location, validated parking in the garage at 1st & Sierra, sizable bar area with decent selection of craft beers on tap and can. Super lively place (what doe expect with a bunch of axe-wielding funsters!). Went with 2 other couples, had our own lane. To save yourself some time, complete the waivers online on their website. Moseyed to the bar for a drink while we waited a few minutes for our lane to be ready. Thought the bar was packed, our bartender was quick with our libations and we were ready to go. Jaden gave us our safety briefing and tips on best ways to toss the axe and we were off. The lanes come complete with a score pad and game recommendations. We tried 3 games during our hour...high score, 21 and succession (hitting 1-6 in order). Being a first time, I had my A game, winning 3 of the 5 games. Whoda thunk! A great place to spend an hour or more when downtown on it's on or before or after a meal. By the way, you can also eat here, have a decent bar menu and a fun downstairs game room (we didn't try but will next time). Looking forward to our next axethon!

Great service and great drink specials. Axe throwing is a good time and turns out to be a good exercise. Shout out to Bree for the phenomenal service and showing me how to throw an axe

Are there other thing syou can throw besides axes? I've seen other bars throw things like ninja stars... Thanks

Not currently. They do have two axe sizes. The larger ones are easier to throw.

Full-on destruction mode with bats, crowbars, and safety gear that made us look like red-suited Avengers. Hilarious and worth getting the footage! The vibe is casual and welcoming. Owner/operator was super laid back, and they've got a jukebox so you can smash stuff to your favorite rage anthem or breakup banger. Only reason for 4 stars: it's a lot smaller inside than I expected, with some unused space in the back that could be better utilized--maybe more seating or an arcade corner? Bonus: Tons of drink options, including local beer picks. Way more than I expected from a place where the main event is turning old TVs into e-confetti.

The owners reserved the back area with the pool table for the party and let us decorate as well. They had a huge party booked before us for the axe throwing and they let them run into our time we reserved so they gave us an extra 1/2 hour on the 1 1-2 hours we paid for. You can also rent one of two rooms to smash stuff. It looked like it was $35 a person and if you wanted to add extra things there is a price list like small, medium and large tvs are $20,$25 or $30. There are also computer monitors more dishware and some other items for purchase. They have a full bar and you can buy some bar food like pizza and chicken tenders. They give detailed instructions on how to axe throw but they also have knives and chinese throwing stars. It was a great place for a party

Our food was brought in from outside and a small table held our food. They offer beverages which consist of small bottles of wine and alcohol ( think plane size!) and a cooler with cans and bottles of beers and party alcohol drinks. These are not included and were $12 for two beers. No cups or ice but you can bring your own I suppose. We had to sign waivers obviously as this can be a dangerous sport. I was sure to not be behind whoever was throwing!! They have axes of different sizes and ninja type stars. I tried them all and favored the stars. You have to keep your own scores which is tricky seeing the board at times but we had fun. Now for the cons. This place is super small and there is no seating so standing for the two hours we reserved was not the best. Also I thought there should be a chain mesh type barrier behind the throwers. Axes do bounce off the wall and if one were to lose their grip as they went back with one, yikes! All in all a fun experience.

There are also three different sizes of axes, from small, medium and large. The size actually makes a difference in the precision of the throw. The computer was user friendly and had lots of different games and formats (like hitting zombies). So even someone who isn't athletically-inclined got some hits too. They have a lot of drink options as well, but we opted for sodas this time. Otherwise a very fun first experience!
