An H or a G means nothing to me unless I've studied your scale already. Of course the price differences weren't listed either. When I asked to see my fabric and wood finish combination they sales manager wasn't able to pull it up visually for me on the computer. The software used only allowed him to show me the fabric on the chair and it didn't even look anything like the fabric I picked. Don't walk in expecting a "designer" to help you with your vision because I felt I was on my own. I walked in with a few styles I had in mind. I have tons and tons of pictures but for some reason I was directed a different direction, I'm glad I'm stubborn or else I would have been sold a piece I could have gotten from Bob's. This is a decent place if you know exactly what you want, if you walk in with no idea what you want they'll sell you tons of upgrades. They often have specials so that range in the 20% to -25% range. I bought my chair here and so far I'm content with the purchase. Let's hope they deliver on time.

My experience with them was incredibly frustrating, they were exceptionally rude, and they did not deliver as agreed. I ordered one table and five chairs in February 2021. I was told at the time that four of the chairs were a special order that could not be cancelled, I paid for half of the order up front, and I was told that the full order would be complete in six weeks. After six MONTHS, I had not heard a word from the company, and I tried to cancel the order. They promised that they would have the order finished in 2 weeks, and would waive shipping costs. After another 6 weeks, I again tried to cancel the order, but was told that it was complete and I could not cancel. I offered to LET THEM KEEP a significant portion of the deposit, and cancel the whole order, and they refused (in a unprofessional and extremely rude way). After I realized that I had only agreed not to cancel 4 of the chairs (all of which had been paid for for 8 MONTHS), I told them that I was canceling the table and would take the chairs. I owed them a small amount of money for the fifth chair, which I paid. After not hearing from them for weeks, again, I was asked to provide the same amount of money for the fifth chair. I had to pull up my credit card statement to prove that I had already paid that money. They never even responded to my email with proof of payment, but did send the chairs. When I received the chairs, I realized that they had the wrong stain (we agreed to Harvest stain, chairs were done in Riverton). I emailed to state that they were in the wrong stain, but that I would accept them, and I again never heard back. Bottom line: They promised an order in 6 weeks, took 8 months, were rude about a partial cancellation, tried to get me to pay them twice, and got the order wrong. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

The last time we bought our bedroom bed was 30+ years ago. It had a no frills generic King sized mattress, two generic box springs, and a simple interlocking metal frame. That frame had recently started falling apart with increasing frequency, and the process of lifting a king-sized mattress and two box springs from the frame, figuring out how to re-lock the frame, then pile everything back was getting both tedious and tiring. So since that bed dates to the Bill Clinton presidency, we decided it was time to move ahead and get a new one. Beds, especially Kings, can be crazy expensive and hit three grand or more pretty easily. There are lots of mattress quality options, mattress "toppers", and frame and platform options. It can be as complicated as buying a vehicle. So, bearing all this in mind, we checked out two competitive stores yesterday. Connecticut Mattress was our second visit and we purchased our replacement bed there. We ditched the old metal frame for a sturdier platform, eliminating the need for box springs, and we splurged a bit by having the platform "tilt" at the head to make watching TV and reading a bit more comfortable. We went with a "firm" mattress we both test drove and liked. I want to acknowledge how helpful our Sleep Consultant (that's the title on her business card!) Joanne Wholley was. She was super knowledgeable, very patient, and had a great personality. She was the reason we chose Connecticut Mattresss over the competition. Pricing for the bed, platform, delivery, and removal were similar. But Joanne's counterpart at the store that will not be named was pushy to the point of aggressive, and miraculously dropped her quote by $100 as we told her we needed to discuss things and were leaving. So maybe instead of being in Avon, I was in Lourdes and unknowingly made a pilgrimage to The Miracle of the Mattress?
