I've had some shady service situations in the past where I have felt taken advantage of, so I really tried to research local places before I went in to take care of my slow-leaking tires and an oil change. I went here based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed! The manager Rick greeted me immediately and was super friendly. He and the service people took the time to evaluate my tires and make sure I actually NEEDED new ones, and I felt like they were really trying to help me and provide good customer service instead of just making a big sale. I ended up needing new tires because I had a nail in one of them in an awkward place, but I was shown the nail and felt confident they were doing what was necessary. Had I not had that nail, Rick would have saved me a bunch of money, and I truly appreciate that. I will be returning to Cassidy in Lombard for future service needs. Came in for an oil change and they checked the whole car. I received a car report listing out recommended and required fixes. Was able to price match replacing my brake pads, fluid flush and rotors with the shop down the street. Easily saving me money and time! They were so nice and willing to work with the price match. I had called cassidy tire for an oil gasket to be replaced in my vehicle and I was told it would be best to make an appointmen. I did so at 730, I know it's when they open but I figure when they get to it would be fine. I get a call a few hours later from one of the workers saying they were not sure if the labor hours and cost were covered. I said what he told me sounded around the same as when he told me. I was under the impression they had already started on my car, and the employee informed me and said it could take until tomorrow. I thought it was weird but ok I get it. I called them later asking about this and the person who answered said oh well it happens that someone was using this specific lift. I just did not understand why if I made an appointment then why my car was not being worked on. I asked if they had even started in my car and they said no, I then told them I would be picking up my car. I went to Cassidy to get my tire replaced. I was so happy to learn they could fix it. While I waited, Rick offered me a bottle of water and engaged me in conversation. He kept getting updates on how much longer it would take. It was a great experience. If I knew it would be so great, I would have come in sooner instead of filling my tire every couple of days. I had a great experience with Cassidy Tire. I walked in and in probably an hour and a half I had two new tires and an oil change. It was great they saw my car and were able to replace the two tires that same visit. I also felt like the team was being very honest with me about prices, etc which is always good at a place like this. I arrived at Cassidy Tire with a flat tire and my five-year-old in tow. The manager was so friendly and worked very hard to get me back on the road quickly. He first told me it would be about a half hour before his team could take a look, but it was much quicker than that and I bet it was only about a half an hour before they had it patched, had the spare back where it goes, and I was on my way with only a bill for $30. So friendly, great service, and super reasonably priced. Will never go elsewhere again! read more

I first visited the two downtown locations and received less than stellar service, so I said screw it and drove to my favorite suburban Cassidy tires. Sure it took me an hour and a half to get here through traffic, but he got me in right away and the service is always excellent. The owner/manager seems like an honest guy and every time I visit he always finds coupons I can use to save money on my service. He explains everything there doing to your car and that's nice so your not "surprised" with any charges at the end. This location is a bit of an inconvenience for me, but for excellent service I'm willing to go the extra mile...make that miles. read more

I had to be at an appointment for work at 3:00. While running errands over the lunch hour, I stopped at an electronics store and noticed a hissing sound as soon as I got out of my car. There was a screw in the outside wall of my tire. Cassidy Tire was one of three tire stores within 2 miles. I called each of them and decided on Cassidy because the service advisor was polite and it seemed like I had the best chance of getting a new tire in the least amount of time. They said there was a car being serviced in each of their three bays. When I arrived, they had set aside a bay for me! They made a concerted effort to help an out-of-towner get back on the road fast and at a fair price. Went here and paid $20 for a fifteen minute tire rotation. I specifically asked the mechanic if he checked the tire pressure in all tires, he said yes. I left there and later that day I did not like how the tires looked. I stopped at the local garage, the mechanic there checked and all four tires needed air. Concerned about what was reported at the Dealer on a tire issue and that they would not answer my clarification questions. I had previous experience with Cassidy in Chicago and was very happy with the work I received. The Lombard location is no exception, fully explained what was the issue with my tires (unlike the dealership) and addressed my clarification questions, and offered me an option that was within my budget. PHENOMENAL CUSTOMER SERVICE I went there because I had a flat tire and had work done at a separate location in the past. I called ahead and the remembered who I was based on the phone call. They also had low wait times, great communication with me throughout the time I was there, and they even made a minor mistake with my tire pressure sensor and fixed it without additional charge to me.
