This was my first time coming here, I would not ignore the negative reviews about this place. I came here to see if they can fix my flat tire since it just happened. The bigger guy at the register rudely said, I could leave it there and they will get to it at 3 PM. One they only had two customers there so it was not that busy. Two it does not take 7 hours to fix a flat. I drove the extra 7 mins to Discount Tire. They were way busier than Just Tires, but they took me in. There was only an hour waiting time. Just Tires may be closer but the service is abysmal. These guys are very lazy. read more

Took my vehicle there when my low pressure tire warning came on to have them check it. They were very quick to check it and found it had a significant loss of pressure in rear tire. I told him tires were brand new and purchased at Costco. He suggested that I take it back to Costco and filled the tire so I could get there. No charge. Friendly. Very pleased with the service. Was promptly pleasantly greeted. I was moving furniture with a dolly and the tire went flat. The pleasant gentleman behind the desk immediately went to my car and checked the dolly. He was able to immediately fix the problem and put air into the tire -- all for no charge. My Husband and I brought our 2011 Buick here for several different things. We needed a brake check, tires balanced and we were having problems with one of our tire sensors. We called and made an appointment for a Saturday morning. When we arrived we met with Paul at the front desk and he was very nice. Informed us that it should not take long and offered us coffee if we wanted to wait there. The store is nice and clean. We had chosen to run errands and just dropped the car off. While we were out Paul called us and gave us an update on our brakes and replaced our sensor and told us our car would be done shortly. We are more than happy with the customer service that was provided and the honesty that Paul and the mechanic provided. We will return for any other needs! read more

I have to agree with Kim J. The customer service is sorely lacking from this location. Then again, I received similar mistreatment from another location in or near Bolingbrook. Maybe it's company policy. Besides, I'm only 6'4". Pretty easy to miss I guess. Anyway, I never got an oil change, but I did have some tires replaced and an alignment there. One time they sent me to another location because they didn't have tires for a Toyota Camry in stock. Seems a little silly, but maybe they're big sellers. Eventually they got the job done but nothing special in terms of service. Their prices tend to be decent, though. read more

I had a wheel that needed mounted and balanced. I had just taken it to cassidy tire in Downers yesterday and they said they couldn't balance it...and that took an hr! Said it needed to be taken to a customer wheel place. Yea ok... The gentleman behind the counter got me in and out of here at just tires in 20 min, now that's service! They even checked my chassy to make sure nothing is wrong. THINGS ARE LOOKING UP! I just took my car in to have the tires rotated, which is free because I bought them at Just Tires. I also have had an ongoing issue with one of their tires. It leaks. It's always leaked. I've taken it in before, and THE GUY told me it was the rim. Charged me for grinding or smoothing it or something, and re-mounted the tire. And it leaked. Still. So I hated the place and continued forking out a dollar every week or so to put air in the tire. I went in today because I needed the tires rotated and thought, "What the heck. I'll ask about this leaking tire again." Check in was pleasant. I was assisted right away. NEW people there. Waiting room was cleaner. Free WiFi (which didn't work for me). After about 10 minutes, the guy comes and shows me a PLUG that he said someone had tried to use to fix the tire and it was inside the tire. WHAT? That tire had never been touched by anyone but Just Tires. When I was called up to pay, I told him the tire had never been repaired anywhere else and no one had ever mentioned using a plug to fix my tire and, unless they sold me a used tire, I had never had a flat repaired. With no argument, he wrote off the charges and handed me my receipt. This is what customer service should be. Thanks! read more

I have taken my car here a few times for small things like an oil change because it is close to our home and relatively inexpensive. I've generally felt pressured to purchase items and have work done on my car that I didn't really need. I wrote this off to being a female who obviously doesn't know much about cars and have always said I would double check with my husband, who generally tells me I don't need the stuff. I had an oil change scheduled last week. The day before the oil change my tire went flat and I figured I would have it repaired with the oil change and save myself the hassle. I was disappointed with the customer service in store. Additionally, no one called me to tell me my car was gone, I had to call them. Finally, when I got in my car this morning, I noticed that the back interior light was on. I tried to turn on my car only to find that my battery was dead. I'm guessing the light got bumped when they were putting the spare back in the car. Seriously? How unprofessional. It cost $65.00 to get the car jumped, thankfully we have a great insurance company that covered the roadside assistance. I will not return to this store, even for an oil change. read more

Something has changed with this location. I used to trust them. They never upsold me, tried to take advantage, and what they quoted is what it cost. Always very nice. Last time I was there for an oil change they told me they checked my filters and they needed replacing. I had just changed them myself. I know what it takes to get access to the filters and there's no way they even checked them. As I stood there there I saw them show the same dirty filters two different customers. When I pointed that out the guy apologized and went into the back and brought out different ones. It could have been an honest mistake so I thought I'd give them another try. After all, they had been very good for a long time. I just came back and the cost was almost $100 more than the estimate. The charges might have been fair enough, but they should have been quoted in the estimate. I'm sad to say, the trust is gone. They've turned into every other place that is trying to soak you for every last nickel. When it's time for new tires or an oil change I'll be going someplace else. read more

We have had a few tire repairs and a set of tires put on here. They were pleasant and fast.

I went there to change two of my tires. I got there with no other customers so all three guys were working on my car. It took about 25 mins for them to finish the job. The guys there are friendly and not too pushy and try to get you spend more money. They would tell you if they see something wrong with your car but won't try so hard to make sales. Way more professional than Walmart, and with the discount, I actually paid less than Walmart. Very good experience! read more

My tire hit a nail in the middle of the highway, and it went flat. Just Tires patched my tire, then mounted it for slightly less than $40. They repaired my tire while I waited, and the process took less than an hour. They seemed honest and friendly. The first auto repair place I tried lied to me and said my tire had a sidewall problem, then attempted to charge me over $200 for repairs. I live near this business and made the mistake of going there! The first time was when I had a flat tire. Although they replaced the tire, I couldn't get one to match what I had--not a big deal, because of the urgency of the problem. But the service was not what I expect. I come in, the guy at the counter was on the phone--I don't expect him to get off the phone, but most will at least acknowledge your presence. Another employee walked out the back and ignored me. Ok.....I needed a tire. I received a coupon for an oil change and decided to use it. Again, service was very lacking, but all I needed was an oil change and it was a good price. About a week later, my oil light goes on! I take it back and the manager tell me that the oil filter was dented which caused the oil leak. Ok....everything was done for no charge. Two weeks later, the oil light is back on---I took my car elsewhere and it hasn't been leaking. The mechanic told me that whoever did my oil change didn't tighten the filter. They worked their buts off on a sunday so i could be ready for work monday. This is the second set of tires I bought here and I am very satisfied with the manager and the mechanics. Customer service is pretty lacking at this location. I called ahead to get a quote on a new tire and the person I spoke to was not very helpful. He actually made me feel a little stupid, must make him feel good to do this to people on the phone. I decided to bring my car in, I had a credit that would go toward my new tire, and once again he was not very helpful when I arrived. I found myself with a tire that was severely low on air, and being that it was a Sunday not many places were open so I took my car to this Just Tires. They took a look at the tire and said that there was some corrosion on the rim that might be causing the tire to leak. They took the tire off, cleaned the rim, and resealed the tire. Within an hour of leaving the tire pressure dropped by 5 PSI (from 31 down to 26). I called to ask if I should be concerned and was told to call back the next day if the tire pressure had dropped further. The following day as I was driving on the expressway, the tire pressure started to drop by about 1 PSI per minute. I wound up having to take it somewhere else to be fixed, again, due to the time of day and where I was when it happened. I was incredibly disappointed in the fact that I paid money to have my tire fixed, and that the work didn't even last a full day. They were incredibly busy the day that they were working on my car, and I was appreciative that they made time to fit me in, but in the end the quality of work was lacking and put me in what I would consider to be a somewhat dangerous position. read more

Came in as a walk in for an oil change. Was assisted with right away. As I was waiting a young gentleman came to advise me, my vehicle needed an alignment very badly. I had just had the vehicle in a week or so ago at another location and the vehicle aligned(or I thought I had). I grabbed my receipt from my glovebox and shown it to him. Needless to say he gave me the alignment half off. And told me to return to the previous shop and speak with them about what work was not actually preformed. He was very helpful and I encourage anyone to use them for issues for your vehicle. read more

Came in for an oil change & tire rotation. Took over an hour - they stripped my oil plug? trying to get it out so had to wait for them to find a new one to replace it (which I was charged for). Additionally, they failed to securely replace the cap (despite, I'm told, having protocols in place that should prevent this from happening.) I lost my oil cap while driving the next day. Engine a mess. Smoking, fumes, not functioning properly. Ended up taking it to another Just Tires on135th off rte 59 (near where malfunction occurred) to get my cap replaced, engine cleaned up, etc. Much better experience there (they took photos of the process to keep me updated, communicated promptly with me). Not going back to Just Tires on Maple. Not worth it. read more

After they almost cost my car an engine by not replacing the oil they took out on an oil change, I will NOT get anything done but the warranty work on my tires. They are very misleading, and you should not go to this shop uneducated! Follow their name, and only deal with just TIRES here. They are very incompetent, the managers are ignorant and rude! I've taken both of my cars to Just Tires in Downers Grove and have had great experiences every time. I always visit on weekends (typically Sunday) and have purchased a new set of tires, had windshield wipers replaced, and have had many oil changes. Whenever I stop by to have my tires filled up, they stop what they are doing, ask me to pull around to one of the garage doors, and they fill up my tires for free and with a smile. During my last visit, they fixed a flat tire for free, even though I hadn't purchased the tires for my second car from a Just Tires location. However, I purchased a complete set of tires for my primary car, so they thought they would do a good deed. I was super pleased! read more

Had an appointment for an alignment at the Downers Grove Just Tires on Maple ave. on Friday Nov. 20th at 12 noon, got there at 11;50, went into the store, told the guy behind the counter my name and told him I had a 12 o'clock appointment........... I was told "even with my appointment, they would not be able to get to my car for at least 2 hours"........Why in the hell do they take appointments fully knowing that they can't keep them! read more

I've had two flat tires within the last 10 months on two separate cars, both times they were able to fix it same day for about $40! It's a great feeling thinking you have to replace a tire, and then finding out it can be repaired it for a fraction of the price. read more

Was very happy with the tires & extended service after buying my tires. About 8 months after having the new tires installed my steering wheel started to shake when driving my car. I brought the car back to the Just Tires store, thinking I had a bad tire. The service rep (Andrew) told me that the tire rim on the passengers side of the car had been dented, and needed to be replaced. I got a used tire rim from a local junk yard and Just Tires installed it. I expected to pay for removing the tire from the dented rim and installing it on the replacement rim, but was not charged anything. read more

Very incompetent technicians. Brought in my Ford Fusion to get the fluids flushed. They couldn't even figure out how to open the hood. Pretty sure they attempted to use some tool to pry the hood open, which scratched and and put a couple dents in the front. They actually had to come and get me to open the hood and they pretended like the dents were old when I can freshly see the paint chipped off. I will never take any car here again. read more

Checking in should be a simple matter and was never an issue at other service dealers, but somehow it seems to stump these guys every time. I have been to this place maybe 4 or 5 times because it's so close to my house but I just can't do it anymore. Their customer service is terrible, and they act like you're bothering them when you come there for service. I took my car in for an oil-change and tire rotation. I also had a headlight burned out and so I asked them if they could replace it. The man at the counter all but eye-rolled at me. When my oil change was done, I asked if they had changed the light bulb and he just mumbled "yeah, no we don't have those. You can just drive right down the road and buy one yourself." Wow, seriously, that's your response? Recently I had an appt for an oil change and had to cancel it. When I called, the guy who answered never even asked my name. When I said I had to cancel an appt he just said "yeah, okay" and I paused a minute to see if he was going to ask who I was and after a second of silence he just hung up the phone. Their work is not even that good. Like other reviewers I had warning lights come on a few days after getting an oil change. I was also told after getting my tires rotated that they didn't have anyone there at the moment to balance my tires so I could just maybe come back in a few days to get it done. This place is just rude! Bought tires from a good year dealer and had a problem with one of the tires after 2 months. I was told to go to them, since they're like good year corporate. They wouldn't look up any information - I called and found out about my warranty or lack there of. I was told the amount to replace the tire. I asked if I could have someone from the accounting office at my company call and pay for the repair since it's a company car and not mine. No was the only word they know here. With an I don't care attitude. I took the car to a dealer down the street and had a new tire, car wash and my company paid over the phone in about 30 mins. This is the second time I've used this Just Tires location for replacing all four tires. I've liked both experiences, but today's service was exceptional! I set up a on-line appointment where you fill in car make, model and year. The tires that were recommended on-line were actually wrong and a smaller size than what was really needed. The guys told me the error and bent over backwards with a good replacement tire recommendation and made a price adjustment. They also did the replacement job very quickly and efficiently. The kid that took care of me couldn't have been over 20 and his customer service skills were exceptional! I mean exceptional! Chris is a kind, trustworthy and hard working guy and that alone was a nice and rare find for a chain auto repair facility. read more
