The driver was a tad gruff, but got the job done quickly and efficiently, which I have to respect and admire. It seems like towing companies get a lot of unnecessary flak from people who always think they're in the right, regardless of the situation. I'm from out-of-state, and have never had a problem with any towing company, much less Robert's - I simply take caution to avoid fire hydrants or seemingly illegitimate parking spaces. Thank you, Robert's Towing, for protecting my parking space and allowing me to use my paid-for spot when I came back from vacation.

I paid in advanced for my spot, same spot as the day prior and paid to extend. I got a message that they were going to tow my vehicle. I ran 12 minutes and asked when i was 4 minutes away if my vehicle was safe and i got a text that said yes and to hurry. I got there and this guy said he didnt care and that was between me and them not him. I asked if he was taking it since it wasnt hooked up and i made it. He said not if i paid him $66 in cash. I apologized said i didnt have cash. He told me to grow up and this was the real world and boston. Then said "what are you waiting for lady ill give you 10 minutes to find an atm" i said i didnt know where an atm was im a veteran not from the area and dont know where there was an atm. He asked me why i was still standing there and to "go figure it the fuck out" i asked him not to talk to me like that and that i really was lost. He told me if i kept talking shit he would take it and id have to pay $173. I said can i please pay over the phone he said no i said can i have the owners information he said no. I said sir i am a disabled veteran i am not aimlessly walking in an unknown area do you know of an ATM around. He told me that he was a veteran too started yelling at me took out his wallet to prove he is a veteran the whole thing was emotionally overwhelming. I paid for the spot. Hes being very mean a male bystander walks by and tells me to get in the car because they cant tow if youre in it. He tells me if i do that he will call the police. I said sir tow the car and ill meet you over there. He asks if im serious. I said yes i want to speak with your boss. While waiting for an uber he drove by me with it towed like a child. I get to the place and hes there talking to the lady in the little crackshack and making fun of me after he parked it against the wall so i couldnt get in. I go up to the window and ask for the business owners information and state i am looking for an atm. She tells me she will not give it to me and she will give him my information and he will contact me. I tell her i am looking for an atm she tells me to go find one. I have no idea where i am i said i have a disability she laughed and said "you dont have a fucking disability" i said "i actually have a traumatic brain injury and a 90% disability rating and what you just did is illegal and not in accordance or compliance with the american disability act i would like to speak to the owner pleasd. She told me to call the police if i had a problem. I said i would. She told me to get off the property and call them so i did. The place was 1.5 miles from where i was parked in a spot i paid for. The police came and i requested their presence so i wouldnt be harassed and the cop said there was an atm right there next to the shack. Why she didnt tell me that is really frustrating. I couldve paid and been out of there but they wanted tk make fun and harass me and say i am not disabled when i am. The cops gave me the number to start the legal due process through the massgov transit route and stated that the whole thing was recorded on their body cams. I asked if they would monitor the interaction of me paying because i was so uncomfortable and they agreed. I went to the window to pay and she said $173 she said she needed my y license. I handed her my license and asked if i could please have a receipt with the charges broken down because the price board next to the window did not match my charge. I got my receipt. It said $173-fuel charge". I said im really sorry but i cant get out they parked it against the wall. The cop asked them to let me out. Im not climbing over the seat. I got in my car and drove home. This is a shady tow truck company hence the multiple names, several complaints, poor lot maintenance, poor complaint process, and poorly trained employees. Have a witness when interacting. Terrible place.

Listen kids, you got nabbed for parking illegally and now you have to cough up the c@$h. Don't be a…read morehater! You brought this on yourself. Someone in this world has to do the dirty work of going out into the cold, lonely streets at night (no doubt leaving multiple, runny-nosed toddlers crying at home), and dragging your sorry car out of that spot you weren't entitled to... and today that someone is Brighton Towing and Repossessions. Instead of hating, try embracing the nugget of opportunity life just handed you: you're about to journey deep into the seedy heart of Allston where, with any luck, you'll get one of the most satisfyingly authentic tow yard experiences in Boston. So, I was on a third date at the Deluxe Town Diner in Watertown with an outrageously cute/funny/smart girl. I parked my car in the Citizen's Bank parking lot after bank hours, thinking nobody would mind. Little did I know, my whole world was about to change for the better. Three hours later, I emerged from the diner to find that my car had vanished. The nearby no parking sign, which I had brazenly failed to heed, provided the name and phone number for BTR. Thankfully, my date had parked legally, and was able to drive us to BTR. This effectively EXTENDED a date that had gone really well, and gave us an unexpected and exciting experience over which to bond. Did BTR answer their phone any of the times I tried it? No. Did they provide an outgoing message with any information at all? No. Was the business marked from the outside, making it easy to find? No. Was it clear how to enter the building? No. Was it well lit? No! But all of this lends an authenticity to BTR that is both startling and pleasant. You WILL get to stand for many minutes in BTR's tiny, surreal customer holding area, taking in the carefully-crafted aesthetic of the establishment: the garish lighting, the crumpled tissue on the floor (as if strewn carelessly), the bulletproof glass window to separate customer from cashier. Service wasn't at all speedy and there seemed to be some confusion about how much I would have to pay. For a while, I wasn't sure I would be getting my car back at all! My date and I spent much time marveling at BTR's incredible logo (bald eagle with flames emanating from behind it). Thankfully, I didn't have enough cash on me to pay the fee, so my date and I enjoyed a romantic stroll to the nearby Walgreen's to visit the ATM. My only complaint about BTR is that they don't sell T-shirts and mugs featuring their amazing logo and catchy slogans like maybe, "I went to BTR, and all I got was my own car!" Although I feel in my heart that BTR is offering an authentic "sketchy tow yard" experience, some would argue that they're actually serving up a caricature of the genre intended to appeal to the base palates of local hipsters, whose insatiable appetite for irony could make "faux sketch" highly profitable. Either way, I'm very pleased with my experience.

We had a difficult pick up because our car was in a parking garage. They have low clearance trucks which we learned is difficult to find. All though they didn't need to use it, we just needed to be jumped. The woman who scheduled our pick up was very courteous and helped us figure out a budget friendly option. She went out of her way to do this and we couldn't be more thankful. The dispatcher, who called us the day of pick up, ahead of schedule, couldn't have been nicer. He didn't rush us at any point. The tow truck driver, David, was so helpful, huge smile and very attentive. He explained stuff to us that we wouldn't have known otherwise. Great team at Stanley, I highly recommend them.

At first, I assumed he was preparing to tow a vehicle because it was street cleaning day. However, there was plenty of room for him to pull his truck forward. Since street cleaning was taking place on my side of the street, there was no legitimate reason for him to remain directly in front of my driveway for 15 minutes while waiting to perform a tow. When I politely asked if he could move his truck until he was actually ready to tow the vehicle, he refused and simply rolled up his window. I called the company to report the issue. During that time, the driver began recording me, mocked me, and made exaggerated gestures instead of acting professionally. I informed the company representative who in turn told me she would contact the driver, and within a minute he drove away. What makes this even more frustrating is that he never towed the vehicle he claimed he was there to tow. My driveway was blocked the entire time for no legitimate reason. Professional tow truck operators should treat members of the public with respect and should never refuse a reasonable request to stop blocking someone's driveway. I hope the company addresses this driver's conduct and provides better customer service going forward. Please note that the entire interaction was captured on my Ring camera and is available as recorded evidence.

I have out of state plates at the moment and even though I was towed for a non-trespassing reason (listed on their sheet as something that can be paid by credit card), they insisted on cash. I could not seem to get their ATM to dispense the cash. Eventually I had to go home to find some cash. This cost me a lot of money in uber trips back and forth. They also did not accurately display what times they were open till. the location of their office is very unclear as well and I spent a few minutes waiting at their trailer which had no one in it before they came out to ask if i needed help. Furthermore, the people working seemed to have incorrectly entered information as they struggled to find my vehicle in their system, even though I told them repeatedly that it has a texas plate and it was clearly the only vehicle in the lot with texas plates. They also took my Drivers license and failed to return it to me, then when I returned with cash they asked me for my license again... Keep your wits about you when interacting with these scumbags...
