Walked in yesterday for hand brake adjustment and asked them to take a look why my left front tire is wearing out faster than the rest of the tires. As well as ABS light came up and down on bumpy roads. They quickly found my passenger side ball joint has worn out and need replacement. Really professional and offered a great total price of $850 for both replacement of ball joint with rotation and hand brake adjustment. Repair finished in a day! One of the best service auto repair I've ever experienced. My son is a college student in Boston and need emergency repair to his VW Jetta. Ricardo treated him with the utmost courtesy and gave him a very fair price to repair the broken suspension spring. He treated him so well, we had Ricardo install new brakes and rotors while the car was in for repairs. He priced all the repairs extremely fairly and didn't price gouge like other repair centers. Jose and his team truly deserve rewards. I was in a pretty big accident on the freeway due to the snowy weather this past month, and my car ended up spinning on the freeway and hitting the guard rail. When I first got there and finished talking about what needed to be done, they generously offered to drive me back home across the street! There was some insurance lag, but they were so patient and so kind. Within about a week, my car was completely done. They're not only incredibly kind, but him and his team go above and beyond. I really owe this place a 5 star review. I'm writing this review after 2-3 weeks from my visit. While driving my old 2003 Honda Accord, on an intersection in small hilly road, my car broke. I incorrectly assumed that my transmission broke, and started searching places who can fix my car. I even assumed that my car is now dead forever and it's time to junk it. I go junk my cars offers like $100 or $125, or $425, the max... After calling several places, I called here. And liked it immediately. Most mechanics were not interested, not available, can't tell the quote, or just too unconcerned. Anyways, so I took the car here, they mentioned it's the axle that is broken. They fixed 2 axle on Saturday, and didn't charge too much for it, was reasonable, considering that I towed my car there. Also, fixed my A/C, light bulb... Overall, I highly recommend this place. I recently moved to the area and was skeptical about finding a local mechanic. I was referred to Jose at Foreign Auto Clinic and after having some car troubles last week, I had my car towed there. Jose was such a pleasure to deal with, he would call with updates and gave me a very reasonable price for the work I had done (I did some research to make sure). Not only was I pleased by the level of customer service but the work was also done quickly. I came back to pick up my car and saw they had even vacuumed the inside! Although my first visit there was enough to prompt a glowing yelp review, I found myself back in the shop 2 days later after my car nearly stopped running on the I90E... My SUV does not have a history of problems but apparently I needed to replace another part, unrelated to the first. Not happy about it, and can't help but be weary, but Jose was able to take care of it again within 1 day and answer any questions I had. I agree with the reviews about the quality of this operation, and Jose. My son used Jose based on a friends suggestion. It was July 3 about 3pm. He was on his way to Logan from CT to get his brother and then on to the cape. Instead he limped into the shop with a dead alternator and detached muffler. Jose diagnosed it and fixed it before he closed at 6pm. I'm sure he had other work to do, but he probably saw the urgency of the situation and dealt with it. Charged a fair price for the work and no upsell...we were in a tough spot and he certainly could have sold us stuff we didn't need. Honesty is the key to this business and Jose seems to be the real deal. I rarely rate anything, but he did us a real solid and he deserves the same in return. read more

Great car repair shop on Commonwealth Ave in Boston near Boston College. It is within the Sunoco gas station. Jose is the best and knows his cars; he and his crew are hard workers and get the job done efficiently and the price is always what they quote you at. He had kept my wife's VW 96 bug around until we bought a new car and is keeping my 08 Honda civic around too. The shop does oil changes too but does not do state inspection stickers. read more
