Driving back from Santa Cruz, my wife and I were looking for a good pizza spot. We decided to check out Cassidy's here in Watsonville and we were pretty impressed. The smell from the outside was a good sign, and we ordered a medium Pepperoni, Ham, and Bacon pizza for dine-in. It only took about 10 minutes and it came out hot and fresh. The pizza was good size for what we paid ($16.00) and very filling. The crust was nice and chewy with a slight crunch on the bottom, and the sauce was good but not overpowering. I'm not a big fan of a lot of sauce on pizza so this was perfect. The toppings were the best part. The pepperoni was just a little spicy, and the ham and bacon were perfectly cooked and there was definitely a lot of it all over the pizza. I appreciate that they used real bacon instead of bacon bits, so kudos to that. For the price and quickness, this was place was awesome. I have had a few pizzas that might have been a little better, but Cassidy's was an awesome choice. I would definitely recommend to those traveling through the area. Just a few quick notes - I think it is family owned, lot of regulars that came in when we were sitting down. They also deliver and do carry out as well. read more

I love this place. Family owned and run. Great pizza and great staff. They are open til 10 PM. There are always people in there and many many birthday parties happen here as well as fundraisers. I brought them some of my homemade pumpkin bread because I love them that much! read more

Saw some kid grab an empty water bottle she had been drinking from and touch it to the Sprite soda dispenser. I warned one of the employees who was going to grab a drink from the fountain and he said "it's a little kid, I probably did it too when I was little" he then got lemonade, I told him you should've gotten some of the Sprite then and he just laughed.. have fun with the COVID Germ and bacteria infested soda fountain.. now I'm second guessing their pizzas read more

The pizza is delicious and of good size. The customer service though, is what really surprised me. They were young and friendly (which is pretty rare nowadays ) always smiling, never rude. This restaurant has the most rude and incompetent female cashiers, I have seen in a while. I come in for a phone order and cashier does not have a clue on how to look it up and then tells me that I have prepare one of the salads my self. When I'm staying in town for the weekend my go to pizza place is Cassidy's. It's been here since I was a kid (1970's). The pizza and chicken wings are all good. The "combo" and the "all meat" pizzas are my favorites. They have a salad bar, a small selection of beer on tap and a video game room for kids. read more

When I first tried Cassidy's a handful of years ago, it was my favorite pizza in the Central California area. It is still an okay pizza but nowhere near the pie it was. The sauce is not as spicy and there is less of it, the crust is not as chewy and the pepperoni is greasier (patting it up with a paper napkin really helps degrease.) It is still the best pizza in Watsonville and the service is just as friendly and great as ever and it is still a lively place to go, so don't skip it but don't expect the treat it used to be. read more

If I could give this less than 1 star I would. I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to order pizza for delivery. I gave the address as the first thing on the call. The guy was so stoned on the call he couldn't take my credit card information. I had to read him the number almost 10 times. Then after suffering through his total stoner mood he proceeds to tell me he won't deliver to my house because their delivery stops two houses away. For real. Don't suffer like I did. I worked here for almost two years and let me tell you if cassidys strives on anything it is making a good pizza! I was a mnt mikes fan before i started working here but after I stopped working there I am now a regular once a week. We ALWAYS got told that this was the best pizza in town by our customers, and we agree! We would cut all the ingredients for the salad bar, and the ingredients for our pizza were always fresh as well. We grate our own cheese, make our own dough, and make our own sauce! Can't get fresher than that... Our most underated item on the menu are our DELICIOUS sandwhiches! Comes with a side salad or chips Our wings are good too, our garlic twists are awesome! Rarely we would mess up a pizza but we ALWAYS have to either remake their pizza on the spot or take down the number of our unsatisfied customer and promise them the same pizza for free for their next order. I think everyone in Watsonville knows and loves this place. I've been going to Cassidy's for years whether it be a fundraiser for school or my softball team or just dinner with the family. The pizza here is always tasty although the pepperoni is a little crisp for my taste. I like the Garlic Chicken pizza myself and its tasty and gooey. I always get an all-can-eat salad bar trip and share with my sister. I know that's cheating but I will go back multiple times myself just to stock up on those little baby corn things. There are T.V.'s for the adults and a small arcade section for the kids. This place is good for groups and teams especially if they're hungry! read more

The pizza was great but overpriced. For a Large pizza (half pepperoni/half combination), 6 piece wings and 2 cups (free refills so that's nice) the total was $48 and some odd cents. I was hesitant after getting my total but we're not from the area and the kids were hungry, so we sucked it up. This pizza parlor has been in watsonville for a long time! Their pizza crust is pretty close to perfect in my book. They offer the usual varieties of pizza choices and the have an arcade for kids. PROS: Pizza as good as it gets! I love pizza and this is the best thin crust ever. Great prices and good salad bar. I noticed most of the low ratings were based on management or service not so much the food. CONS: Tacky worn out restaurant. But I prefer to eat there than order delivery because it just isn't as hot when it gets delivered. We have to have it at least once a week when we are in town. I really like the white sauce pizza here, actually their pizzas are amazingly good. My problem was with the price. Their Menus do not match what we were charged last time we were there. I ordered 2 small pizzas and was overcharged $7. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until after I got home but the receipt showed my 2 small pizzas and they were each priced differently and those prices were nowhere to be found on the menu. We visited this place while camping locally. The employees are friendly and the pizza is very good. There are a few videos games for the kids. The inside of the restaurant has limited seating but it's a little run down and could use some updating. Overall, the pizza and salad were very good and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. read more

- Since my last yelp a while back, I've been eating Cassidy's regularly and I really really really love their pizza! It's the bomb! It is exceptionally tasty. - All their varieties are great, but their is one little downside and that's the red sauce, it gives you heartburn, but for you red sauce heartburn victims, (myself included), you can ask for "white sauce" (white garlic parmesan sauce). It is very good especially on hawaiian pizza. - If you have a little green square coupon they give with every pizza, you get a nice little discount. Also delivery needs improvement cause they take forever like 45 mins to 1 hour for one little pizza! Other than that, the environment inside Cassidys is nice and cozy for families, kids, and love birds so let's have some pizza! "Party, Pizza Party"!!! read more
