Love coming to Cassidy's Pizza. The atmosphere is great and the pizza, oh my delicious!!!..... the only down side to it is that most of the time I come in it is so foggy and smells like burnt If only they'd change the windows so that the air could filter out . I really should have mentioned (three years ago) that the customer service here is great. They are always very nice and the pizzas come out quickly. I have never tried to place an order and been told to wait till someone who spoke English was available to take my order (Fuck you Pizzamia). If there is anything I don't care for is when someone answers the phone with a spiel. They speak so fast I haven't a clue at what they has just blurted out. So I ask them to repeat it again in a normal tone and speed until they are intelligible. Of course the idiot on the phone got me back by asking me for my phone number 5 times. Priceless. Then we had to have a debate on tomatoes. I only care for sun dried tomatoes on my pizza. He told me they only have regular tomatoes. I told him no thank you. He proceeds to tell me they chop them daily. I remind him of my preference. He continues to inform me that they chop them up real small. I let him know that unless they also sun dried them I wasn't interested. So he questions, "You don't tomatoes then?" The damn pizza had better be good because this has been THE most difficulty I've ever had just ordering a pie to-go. Okay I get into the restaurant and it's a simple place. I pay my bill and have a seat to wait for my pie. In quick order my name is called and I'm off with my bounty. I live a fairly short distance from Cassidy's in a neighboring town. I make my way to the dinner table and prepare for my long anticipated pizza. While not the best pizza I've ever had it was quite good. As others have mentioned it's a thin crust. I live in the Martinelli neighborhood so I drive by this place all the time. Finally, I decided to try their pizza. I ordered a medium size combo via phone. I showed up at the restaurant and I was the only customer there( 11:25am). There were two restaurant personnel behind the counter who saw me but kept on talking. I stood there and they kept on talking. I docked two points for that. The pizza was good but it not taste as good as the Trevor combo at Corralitos and it was a bit higher price. Pizza is decent. Im from the east coast, and also spent large portion of my life in Chicago. Im no stranger to pizza. Cassidys is okay. It gets the job done. One major complaint is its NOT HOT ENOUGH! Cheese is never gooey or stretchy, sauce is just barely warm also. The delivery is quick ( I only live 5 blocks away- so itd better be) and the price is decent. But seriously its just not hot enough to be thoroughly enjoyed. This will probably never change as this place has been here for years and refuses to change anything. They seriously need to update the interior. Its old and disgusting. Been using them for years. 2 days ago, had a pizza delivered with the crust double thick on 1 side and no edge on the other. All the sauce was on 1 side as well. Also 1 PIECE MISSING. Instead of 16 slices, we got 15 which they argued on the phone is what you get when you crosscut a pizza 8 times. Instead of sending us a new one they shut us down by offering 15% on the next order. A friend of mine ordered 5 pizzas from them yesterday for a birthday party. Pizza was great until we discovered an old used BANDAID in a slice of combination. We reported it to them, and they gave us a lame excuse about mushrooms being washed, which made no sense given that the bandaid was within the dough part of the pizza. The guy in the phone said 15 to 20 minutes I get there about 23 minutes later and it's not ready. The pizza was literally ready in about 50 minutes! I was so upset that when the lady showed me the pizza (1/2 combo, 1/2 pepperoni) I just said ok and left I get home and my sister notices it that it's only like 5 slices of combo and the rest pepperoni (I ordered a large). All ingredients are fresh, high quality, ample and not greasy at all. We heard about this place from a friend and are sorry we waited so long to try it. We had the combination pizza and the pepperoni pizza and both were outstanding. I'm seriously not over exaggerating when I say this is the best pizza in the whole wide world. I've recently moved to los angeles and there really is no place like cassidy's. The pizza is absolutely delicious. Me and my mom always have it made with thin crust and garlic. Its a comfort food for me. I'd highly reccomend actually going to the restaurant if you're looking for a fun night, there are tv's and a little arcade for kids. Best pizza in town! Keep in mind that as soon as you call they will put you on hold. Always, never fails!! Another bad thing is that staff always sweep carpet around clients tables/ feet and leave all the dust flying in the air and off course will eventually land in our food. Why not vacuum instead?
