We needed a Jacaranda tree cut down in our backyard after renovating it. We really wanted to keep it but it just made too much of a mess to handle. After getting about 5 quotes from other tree services we went with Juan. He is very responsive and punctual. His pricing was competitive and he was available the next day. His team showed up right on time. They were careful with the branches and slowly roped them down to prevent damage to our new turf. They finished in a few hours and cleaned up when they were done. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I have a brand new putting green installed right under the tree and they didn't fully cover the green with plywood and dropped a big branch on it. When I asked to have more plywood down one of the guys said "nothing happened". Yeah nothing happened that time but with all the stuff falling it would bound to get damaged. That being said they did end up putting more ply wood down. One other thing to add is if you have synthetic turf I suggest you cover as much of it up in plastic before the guys get there. My turf has a bunch of saw dust in it now and it's tough to remove. Just something to note. I didn't hold this against them. To finish off... Juan and the crew were great, punctual, professional and fast. I would highly recommend them! My too piece of advice. If you are going to renovate your backyard and need a tree down. Do it BEFORE everything else.... lesson learned!

Juan responded back quickly with the best rate to take out some stumps and roots in a difficult place and came out the next morning promptly and did an amazing job as you can see in the photos. I'd give him a 6th star if I could. I'll Use him for any further work regarding trees or their roots.

We contacted several tree companies through yelp about grinding down a very large tree stump in our front yard. Juan from Castillo Tree Services was one of the first businesses to respond and his price was competitive. We spoke on the phone and arranged for the work to be done Saturday morning. He texted me when they were 20 minutes away and he and his crew got right to work. We really appreciated their communication and hard work. They even cleaned up so well that our nearby porch looks even better then before they arrived! We are so happy with the final result. We have some water pipes nearby so they couldn't grind the stump down as far as they normally would - which they told us is typically 10-12 inches. We knew that was going to be an issue with the water there, so we didn't mind at all. We had them grind to a safe distance of a few inches so the rest could be easily covered by dirt. We are very happy with the work that was preformed and all the guys on the crew were great. We will definitely reach out to them again with any other tree service needs and would highly recommend .

I needed a bundle of Mimosa trees removed, and another smaller one in the corner of the back yard. They spread like weeds and have been bothering the neighbors for years. They quoted $850 at first, not a bad quote compared to the 4 I got, but another company had quoted $750 and they were able to match it. Juan came for the quote on Monday and had an open slot Tuesday morning, so he said they were able to give a good price since they needed to fill that slot anyway. They were also able to clear out the smaller Mimosa saplings that had sprouted in the yard (he said they'd do it if I left a review; fine by me). They were in and out in about 2 hours, and since they were coming early morning I told them not to wake me up when they came since I sleep a bit later, and they were fine with that. He did wake me up to call me about moving my car to stop it from getting a ticket since I parked it in the street cleaning zone though! He talked to my neighbor to make sure it was my car and worked it out with the ticketing guy and and saved me $80 right there!

Absolutely fantastic.From the initial call Juan was very polite and professional. When he came out to give me a estimate he explained everything and told me exactly what would be done. I received five estimates, and he was the only person who did this.When his crew showed up they were friendly and got right to work. They removed a huge Eucalyptus Tree and cleaned everything -including the yards of my neighbors. They spoke to me as the job progressed and let me know exactly what was going on. We had Castillo Tree Services come out today and take down a 60 foot tall dead Liquid Amber tree in our backyard. They were very thorough and finished in about 4 hours. Juan was very concerned about branches falling into the neighbors yard so he went over and asked them to move their cars and picked up all the debris from their yard. We were also very happy with the price. The cost was almost half of what another tree service quoted us. They also did a great job with the clean-up. We had 4-5 tree services come out and give a quote to remove and shape some trees on our property. Castillo tree service was the first to respond and had the best quote. Juan and his crew did a great job shaping some oak trees, removing a couple palm trees and removing a couple of birch trees. The crew missed one stump (instead of trimming flush to ground, it was left a few feet all). Called Juan and two of his guys were out the next day to remove the stump. Great experience from beginning to end. Needed four trees really close to my house with huge branches hanging over my roof removed. Called Juan left a message and received a call back within 5 minutes on a holiday weekend! They scheduled me immediately and, most importantly did a great job for a VERY reasonable price. Was a bit of a challenge due to electrical wires and a tight space but they got the job done and cleaned up all debris. Juan & his friendly, polite crew did a great job. Juan replied to my initial inquiry within an hour & came by to give me an estimate the same afternoon. Within a few hours on the scheduled date, his crew trimmed an overgrown holly tree, removed a large dead mulberry tree & a smaller palm tree. They also trimmed my existing palm trees. Juan and his crew came out to remove a very large Red Wood Tree that had died in my back yard.My car was in the way but my battery had died that morning and they were kind enough to push it out of the way to get the job done, and were kind enough to push it back when they were done.
