Dr. Stowell and the team are top notch. I've been coming here for my Invisalign since January. It was a fast process for me, and now I'm on my retainers for the year. I love how they know me by name and genuinely ask how I'm doing and get to know me. I'm just not another client who walks in the door. At my last appointment, I heard a mother ask for an emergency fix for her son's tooth. This location was booked, but the front office took their time to give this parent another location in Cypress to help. The facility is clean. The wait time can be a little long for teeth cleaning (and she jumps between clents), but overall, the wait isn't that bad. read more

Although the care at this office is good, the billing experience was not good. We paid them almost $2500 for procedures to get my wife's teeth corrected and a new partial. They were great about saying that xxx needed to be done and the cost was$xxx.xx. After the last procedure, we were told that this was covered by our Medicare policy and no further payment was due. Two months later a bill for over $900 was sent and now we are harassed by their collections agents. And the collections person left a message to call 888-364-9562 x55169. This is a number, in Spanish, for a medical alert button! We feel we were lured into the procedure and they felt that we may have declined because it wasn't covered. Now we are literally left with this bad taste in our mouth(no pun intended). We would recommend because of the dentist and assistants, but not to theri crooked billing, especially to senior citizens. read more

In my thirty plus years of going to the dentist, this is probably the worst dentist office I have ever been to. The staff is incompetent, and the wait time is absurd. They will not schedule a cleaning with your first appointment, so you have to wait a month after seeing the dentist to get your teeth cleaned. RIDICULOUS!! Then, when your cleaning appointment finally arrives (remember, you had to schedule it a month ago), they call and say they need to reschedule. So, if you made plans to be there, just throw them out the window, because you have to reschedule for several weeks later. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO HERE!!!First, I normally don't write bad reviews. This is special because it doesn't involve me. This happens to my sister. My sister is an introvert and doesn't handle confrontation very well. My sister went for a crown. She was referred to a different office for the root canal, which was done the day before. Went home within 3days she was still in pain. She went back to see if there was something that could be done. Now they are saying it's the root canal that is causing her the pain. Now both are blaming the other. They are just running her back and forth. They were adamant that she needed to deep clean her teeth. At this point, her gums were swollen and had difficulty eating. Mind you, this is 2 weeks later for them to even see her or get her in for a deep cleaning. My sister told me she felt something was stuck in her gums. After the deep cleaning she was still in pain! NOTHING WAS DONE! Nothing got resolved. Going on 3 weeks she couldn't handle it anymore and just took it in her own hands. Dug out bits and pieces of left over tooth debris from the drilling that they did from the original cleaning and cavity. Even after all that she came back for a deep clean and they still did not get it all out. One mistake is bad enough, but my sister even gave them a second chance to fix the issue. I was kind of nervous about getting an extraction and the assistants from the time I walked in, to the time I sat down, and walked out made me feel so comfortable. So many complaints! In general I'm a b****, and when it comes to my kids that's amplified. First time we came: (yes I was stupid enough to come more than once) Scheduled my kids for cleanings. Hygienist was not working that day, fyi you can have a cleaning without the hygienist. They did not have a backup so I had to schedule a second appointment to have their cleanings. They bring you in the room, check out your teeth for a minute then tell you to go back to the waiting room. They write up a price list have you look at it, sign and pay before they complete the work. This pissed me off. I don't know who their regular clientele is but I come to my appointments expecting to pay and have the funds to do so. Also I don't agree with paying for a service I haven't received or a service I want to ensure is done correctly. So at the end of that appointment the office manager talked me into coming again because I was pissed about the hygienist not being in the office for a scheduled cleaning. The second appointment was for the cleaning they didn't get the first time and my son wanted braces. The X-ray machine wouldn't work. The braces are financed if you can't pay 5k at once. You need a voided check with you name and address on it or draft form from your bank, which they could have mentioned when I scheduled the appointment for the braces consult. You have to give references for the financing. I don't agree with giving references for any credit. I have never heard anything good coming of it. They again looked at his teeth send you back to the waiting room, then look at price list then get braces if you agree with the terms. When they did the braces they only did the brackets. Referred him to have removal of 4 teeth due to crowding. Which couldn't be done same day because the dentist wasn't working that day, only the orthodontist. He didn't get the wires only brackets. Suggestions: go to a good ole family dentist. The only reason I didn't go to our family dentist was due to them not having a orthodontist on staff and being referred out. This place doesn't have anyone on staff here full time. Just bite the bullet and pay more at a locally owned office. The price is worth the reduced aggravation. They're work is good. Their business practices are not thought out for customer satisfaction. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone but now we're stuck going here for the duration of the braces:( read more

My daughter was treated to fix her uneven teeth at the Castle dental located at 2129 Farm to Market #240 Spring Texas 77388 with braces since 2019. The braces were removed in 2021 and she got the retainers to keep the teeth aligned. Her last appointment with the orthopedic doctor was in January 2022. After that we went to the general dentist twice for check up and cleaning. The doctor said everything looks good. The last regular cleaning was on October 11th 2022 and when the doctor said everything looks good, we asked the doctor about one of the teeth that was misaligned. The doctor said he can refer to an ortho doctor if we want and we received an appointment for december the 3rd. But we felt like we needed to see the doctor sooner than that and we decided to do a walk-in last saturday 10/29/2022. The Ortho doctor was mad at us saying we should have brought her sooner and there is nothing he can do. So I told him that I went to see the general doctor for checkup and cleaning twice and he didn't care about it. Now they are asking another 2300$ to get the tooth fixed or to try another retainer for 300$. We already spent about 4000$. After all these treatments we feel like we got scammed. We need some help with getting the treatment done properly to fix my daughter's teeth. We trusted your doctors and they failed us. I called the office multiple times since 10/31/22 and they promised that they will let Nira know. But no response from Nira. They have no direct number to their manager Michelle Nira. I had worked done their by a dentist named Dr. Ghia or something like that well she did a root canal and I paid 890 for it and 6 months later its infected and the dentist is gone no one said anything. The procedures were a little foreign to me (getting x-rays, dentist looking at your teeth, then going to the front to wait for your treatment plan, you pay and then go to the back for your cleaning) but it turned out ok. As a parent of kids that love to play sports...we have been advised many times to "wait 24 hours before addressing any issue we might have with the people in charge" Well...I have graciously waited 6 months before addressing this issue, just to give this dental office the "benefit of the doubt". After doing a lot of research, a lot of conversing and a lot of patience... I come to the same conclusion...this office has: horrible customer service, office staff that are incompetent and a doctor that can not perform her duties well or complete her work and can not interact with customers/clients in a professional and cordial manner. Basically...from the front desk all the way to the doctor...this dental office is HORRIBLE!!! My son (10 years old) was the patient. He has been unnecessarily traumatized by the horrible service and lack of customer service, for this purpose, I am currently getting legal advice and information together to file a suit for incomplete work by the doctor with completion (temporary completion) done by the hygienist...I have been told (by lawyer and other dentists)...that having a hygienist finish the doctor's work was Illegal. I will see to it that the doctor does not continue illegal procedures on any other patient. Other patients should not have to endure the horrible customer service rendered by the office any longer. Office Manager: Kenan is definitely a PERFECT EXAMPLE of how an office manager SHOULD NOT act or perform the duties she is responsible for.....ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! The ONLY good thing I can say (my selection of the ONE STAR is solely for them) is that Amber (hygienist) and our nurse (apologies I didn't catch her name, of hispanic origin) were THE ONLY TWO PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE that knew how to be professional and cordial in their respective duties. There was another "wanna be office manager" ...unfortunately, I did not catch her name either... she "claimed she was over the Office Manager". She was rude, acted like she knew EVERYTHING yet could not resolve the issue of incompetent staff members. She also stated that she was very experienced in this field, even more so than the doctor herself. She would not disclose information she claimed "I am not allowed to give that information". It was only common public information...she was just trying to be obnoxious...and succeeded! So sad that my son had to go through this traumatic experience which in turn makes him CRINGE at the thought of EVER going to the dentist again. After this experience, I do not know if he will ever recover emotionally. This was a dental experience that no child should ever have to endure. And the hunt for a good dentist as well as good dental office will continue. If it isn't already clear by now...let it be stated clearly now: we will NO LONGER be visiting this office of horrible service and incompetent employees ever! I only feel sorry for the two employees that have had to deal with an office full of incompetent co-workers, especially the doctor. As of late, I did find out that the hygienist quit. (go figure... After reading the reviews, I made sure I went in on a day in which the hygienist would be in. It's a small clinic and we had to bounce from station to station for each service. The waiting room was clean and welcoming. The hygienist was nice but slow and by the time I was done, she still had to clean my spouse's teeth and several other clients. For a basic cleaning and checkup for 2 people, we spent about 3 1/2 hours there. We inquired about the cost of a tooth implant and were quoted a price before insurance and they said that they would call me after they contacted my insurance to see what the price would be with insurance. When they called me back with the quote, the price was more expensive AFTER insurance. read more

Do not go to this office...the staff is incompetent. I had a bad toothache and was in tremendous pain and my regular Castle Dental dentist was not able to get me in as she was on holiday. I had to call my insurance company and change my designated dentist to this office and they confirmed that that not only did they call the Spring Office, they faxed the transfer paperwork required. When talking to the Spring Castle Dental, name Maria, she indicated that they got the paperwork, she could access my account from the Humble office and confirmed that there would be no need to fill out any additional paperwork. When I came in for my appointment the very next day, I waited 15 minutes and then the front desk lady came up to me and told me I had to fill out all the paperwork as they had lost my paperwork, couldn't find my file and didn't have the transfer paperwork from the insurance company... I told them "bullshit" and left. Going back to the Humble office...at least they have 1 person who knows what she is doing. read more

Received an estimate of $1935.00 for root canal, buildup and crown. Paid $1000.00 up front and went in to have the root canal. During the procedure they broke off31. a file in my tooth. They stated they would have to pull the tooth or they could refer me to a specialist to finish the root canal. Said they would transfer the $1000.00 when I made the appointment with the specialist. The specialist wanted $136.00 for the consultation and $1500 to finish the root canal. I went back and told them they would just have to pull the tooth. They stated I would still have to pay $531.00 and would not refund me the $1000.00. I don't know how a company like this can have multiple offices and stay in business with this kind of customer service. They were completely unwilling to take any responsibility for their work and still wanted to be paid for something they could not complete. They staff was very unfriendly and incompetent. They left me in the chair for 45 minutes, with my mouth held open with a special device, a rubber dam over my mouth and never came in to check on me, suction my saliva or tell me what was going on. I will never go back here again and will tell everyone I know to stay away from Castle Dental. I had to learn the hard way. Both financially and painfully. read more

I sat in the chair for 3 hours before the dentist even came in to see me. No one came in to tell me what was going on. I was in extreme pain. I had an appointment and was there early. I was told that they can not do anything for me. I did not complain once. When I finally went up front to see about making another appointment, the gentleman (I use that term very loosely), stated that I had only been there for a check up and that even if they could have done something for me, they would have not done anything. The prices that they wanted to charge me were so high. I can't just take off of work to go in. When I told him that I did not have the money to pay for the processor. He laughed at me and said, "what you can afford it?" There was no customer service there and they did nothing for me. All they did was give my a prescription for antibotics and pain meds. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place; they will try to get money for treatments not needed. Me and my wife switched to Castle Dental. After their X-rays process, I said DIDN'T have teeth cleaning in more than six months(I really had cleaning in the last six months, I don't have cleaning or cavities issues), my wife said she DID have cleaning in the last six months(she actually didn't in more than a year), their treatment plans were: Me, I needed DEEP CLEANING, cost $672 out of pocket. Wife, root channels repair treatment, NO DEEP CLEANING, but the root channel must be done first with a different provider as the doctor there could not do this work. Anyways, this proved their low process to get money out of a patient, based only in what your answers are for their questionnaire, they will try to rip you off by telling you many different technical dentistry deceases or sicknesses. We went somewhere else for standard cleaning. After 6 months I started to receive SMS for regular checkup from them again, I scheduled an appointment with Ms. Indira (don't know her name, she is Indian) and agreed we just need standard cleaning (which is covered by the insurance companies). Once at the office, she said I have to pay 672 for deep cleaning as this is what it was written in my record files before, she denied me any treatment if I don't take the deep cleaning first, even when I explained I already had a cleaning somewhere else right after my last visit with them. This place is crap and she is worst, sorry to say this, but the Indian woman Ms. Indira (maybe not her real name, could not catch it) attending there was not polite, and did not have manners with customers, she only wanted me to pay $672, when is not needed, whoever is the owner of this Castle Dental chain company, should pay attention to the staff they hire and this woman should be fired. read more
