I can no longer recommend this office due to consistent staffing and scheduling issues. Every time I visit, it's a brand-new rotation of doctors and assistants, which makes it impossible to build trust or have continuity of care. The office is incredibly inefficient; my wait times have progressively worsened, culminating in my last visit where I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time and eventually had to leave. To make matters worse, I was charged for a cleaning I never actually received. Save your time and find a more stable practice. read more

So Brittany and Diana were very helpful and seriously made a nervous, anxious person feel welcomed. I've avoided the dentist for over 20 years and yall they walked me thru everything. The dentist that helped me was great, patient, and very gentle. (I may have cried a bit being nervous and in pain) He immediately stopped gave me something to numb the pain and walked me thru each step he was doing. The other dentist that was helping him was also very kind. They made this nervous person have a whole new perspective on having dental work done. My whole family went in in 2021, they are super nice but do not waste your time going here. My mom went to another dentist 1 month after her "deep cleanse" here and they told her she had 2 cavities and basically this dentist had done nothing to her teeth. They are money hungry and not a good dentist. They charged me 300 for 2 cavities, too overpriced for terrible service. read more

I have been looking for a dentist in the area and tried them out. I would not recommend. My appt was scheduled for 1:30pm for my routine cleaning and X-rays. They did not start cleaning my teeth until 2:30pm! I have never had such a long appt for a routine cleaning, even as a new patient. The dentist was nice enough but was popping in room to room just changing out gloves, not washing hands between each room. The dentist is the one who cleaned my teeth and the hygienist just polished my front 4 teeth (which was weird because I have always had them all polished). They asked if I wanted fluoride and I said yes, but I never actually got any after my cleaning. I won't be back to this place and will continue looking for a good dentist in the area. read more

Worst Dental experience EVER! I made an appointment with them last minute to fix a chipped tooth. The doctor (Dr. Craig Allen) did a terrible job on my filling, he cut the roof of my mouth with the drill, and then dropped the drill bit in my mouth, and it almost went into my throat. Once I was finally able to see the work that he had done, he told me that's what everybody likes and didn't even try to resolve the issue. His his way of fixing the issue was to just refund my money and be done with me all together. He use so much filling material that it made my two front teeth look like one solid tooth. He had no intention of shaping the tooth to make it look like a single tooth. Now I can barely get any floss in between the teeth and now I have to go see another dentist to get his terrible work fixed. read more

I am Writing to Discuss the WORST experience that I have ever had at a dentist office. I had an appointment this past Saturday, and the Dentist who came in recommended braces to me which I have never been recommended braces before by any dentist was trying to get me to get invisalign, I told Dentist want I wanted to get done as a tooth has been chipped now the dentist Katherine Price said that she could give me the prices for root canal and bridge on this tooth that was chipped. After giving me the prices said that she wouldn't feel comfortable giving me a root canal and refused to provide that service to me. She said that she was not experienced enough with the root canal procedure. It was very clear to me after the lady came in to present the pricing to me that this dentist was out to make money and that was it. Also, I was told that they would not charge me for the visit even though they didn't do anything so there was nothing to charge. The person that handles billing said she would call another office and give me a call back on that same day or Monday. Its now Tuesday and I have yet to hear anything from that location. The FACT is the dentist that practices there DIDN'T FEEL CONFIDENT enough in her abilities to do her job. IT WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. I chose Ideal Dental because they offer emergency services. I chipped my front tooth, and my regular dentist couldn't get me in for a another week . I was able to get an appt here the next day. A crown was recommended. I was presented with the detailed costs, including the portion covered by insurance. I was given a temporary crown that day. My second appt was the check-up with x-rays and cleaning. I don't think my teeth have ever been this clean. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff. Amazing people. read more

I've had nothing but great experience every time I visit this facility. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Everyone greets you with a smile. Dr. Price is probably my favorite dentist ever, she is so so gentle and compassionate; she listens and explains things without a rush. I had a couple tooth fillings done there on a Saturday, the process was efficient, gentle and pain free. Dr. Price even called me on the Monday after to check up on me. Scheduled an appointment 1.5 month in advance in order to get a Saturday appt. for a new retainer as mine is cracked. This was incredibly important to have done due to having a 1 year old and being due with my second within 2 weeks of the appt date. Very limited time. I filled out the pt questionnaire immediately after making the appt. (a form which clearly asks/states that I am currently pregnant.) Upon arriving to my appointment I'm told "oh they tried calling you it looks like you might be pregnant so we will need a medical release for you to be seen". Apparently they had tried calling less than 48 hours to the appt having had the information that I am in fact pregnant for over a month when they appt was initially made. Not only would 48 hours notice not have given me time to obtain a medical release from my OBGYN but I was never told that being pregnant would be an issue for getting a retainer to begin with. I was not coming for a dental exam as I am not due for one and could have easily provided those records from my previous dental visit/Dr. if I had been advised they were needed. Instead I am told upon arrival that I can't be seen. So an entire day wasted and now I won't be able to get the retainer needed for several months since I will be giving birth in less than 2 weeks. The front desk worker was apologetic although seemed insincere and offered no resolution as to another available appt date etc. She just kept saying well Brittany is the one that scheduled you so I don't know what that conversation was. We moved amidst the pandemic. I had a filling that was done in another state earlier this year. It fell out on Monday and by weds I was able to get a new filling at this amazing dentistry office. I have been to many, many dental offices and had my teeth worked extensively. I have yet to go to a better dentist. The overall experience was excellent, staffing was courteous yet down to earth friendly and Dr. Price was (is) phenomenal. She gives you personal attention and unlike other dentists I have dealt with, is not rushed or hurried. My only worry is that she is recruited away. I am writing in to discuss the most horrible dental experience imaginable. Ideal Dental is focused on the up-sale. They are not concerned about patients and their needs. It has been demonstrated over and over. In September of 2018, my husband and I went into the office on Rayford Road. I asked if they took our insurance(we both had insurance from our jobs and both were dependents on each one). They happily replied yes. We let them know that we wanted to get our teeth cleaned. I provided them with both of our cards. I explained that we both had 2 insurance policies and asked if there would be an issue. There were not able to see us that day, but stated that we could come back the following month because it had to be the full 6 months before being seen at another dental office. We finally had our appointment on a Saturday morning in October. We get there and get x-rays and exams. I was having a minor pain in my tooth at the bottom and the top. They asked if I wanted replacement crown at the top and then they would do a new one for me at the bottom. I hesitantly agreed because my cost was like right at 900 dollars. I asked about using my insurance and my husband's to cover the cost. She said yes but for now apply for Care Credit and if there is an over payment you can be refunded at a later date. They explained to me that it didn't make sense to get my teeth cleaned because they would do it for me when my permanent crowned were placed in my mouth a couple weeks later. Meanwhile, in the other chair my husband was getting his exam. He wanted to replace a bottom partial that he had for the last 20+ years. He agreed to get both top and bottom partials. He talked about getting a gold teeth at the bottom on his new partial like he had on the old one. They said they would check and get back to him to see if the gold would cost extra. His cost was right at about 1200 dollars. They explained that he would get his teeth cleaned when he came back also. We both left the office with care credit bills right at 1000 dollars each. I left with my temporary crowns and my husband expecting to receive a call about the additional cost of the gold tooth. Weeks went by and I did not hear back about my crowns. I called and they finally scheduled me to come into the office. I went in with the expectation of getting my teeth cleaned and permanent crowns placed. I was deathly afraid of this visit. My first visit was the most painful thing I had ever experienced. I was in the office for 4 hours and the doctor drilled in my mouth for so long. It hurt so bad, but I could not change my mind so I had to get these permanent crown otherwise I wouldn't have any teeth and the temporary ones really hurt. I could only use one side of my mouth for the past weeks. When I got there I asked about the billing and getting my teeth cleaned. The explained that I could not get my teeth cleaned. I had already had a deep cleaning and I would need to wait 24 months before they could do it. I was upset. I begin to ask questions about billing and how much things would cost. The same person that took our insurance and said we could use both insurances was now changing her mind. She said she was only doing it as a favor. I explained that this is a business and there are thousands of dental offices out there. If she could not use both insurances she could have just said it at the beginning. It became very clear that they just wanted to make money off of us. They were not really concerned about the health of our teeth. My husband called and finally was scheduled about a month later to get his new top and bottom partials. He wore the partials about 3 days before the gold that they put on his new bottom partials began to turn black. He never received a call saying that the gold would be placed on the partials, but it was there anyway. Had they called like they said they would have known that he changed his mind. Within the same week my husband returned his top partial because of a fitting issue and the bottom ones because of the gold turning black. He waited a couple of weeks again and the partials were returned to him. This time it only took 1 day before the gold tooth turned black. He returned both partials for the same issues yet again. He waited a couple of weeks to get them back again. The partials are still the same. He is not able to wear the top ones because they fall out when he talk. He is not able to wear the bottom ones because the gold tooth is black. Here are the issues that we have: 1. I had to change offices to get my teeth cleaned finally. The first crown that they ordered for me broke in the office. I had to get another one ordered and it took weeks to come in. The front counter person told me I had 243 dollars over payment. Each time my husband went to the Rayford Road office he asked for my refund. I still have not received it yet. Please refund my 243 dollars. I refuse to call read more

I had my first appointment yesterday with Dr. Leiker.......and it was an AMAZING experience! He spent a generous amount of time, not only working on my teeth but answering any questions I had! He is very personable and knowledgeable and I am so excited to have found a good dentist I would highly recommend him to everybody!!! read more
