Ecstatic to say I finally found a quality pedicure place. I made an appointment so I'm not sure if they accept walk ins but they actually abide by their appointment times which was a pleasant surprise. The pedicurist did a great job on my gel pedicure, made sure to mention the price difference and paid close attention to detail. I've continued to visit Castle Nail Bar since my first review a couple of year ago. During the pandemic they were good about covid precautions, taking temps and doing an intake form, they also suspended their beverage service for awhile to keep masks on at all times. I've always appreciated their attention to detail. However, I went in for a pedicure a few weeks ago and there was a huge RAT terrorizing the corner of the salon I was sitting in. It was in the wall fountain and then made its way under my friends chair. It was so shocking! It took a while for the staff to notice and once they did little was done to remedy the situation. They did move us to different chair mid service - but we still paid full price and there was no apology. It wasn't a relaxing experience at all. Came here on a whim. They squeezed us in and were fast and efficient in getting our nails done. I was very pleased with their work but I wish the nail polish lasted longer than my expectations. I had Julie, and all she did was rubbed lotion on the top of my leg for about 5 min, not even my calves, the entire time with ZERO pressure. She didn't even bother with my feet. This is not an exaggeration, there was no attempt at any massage. The hot stones are luke warm at best. She did not wrap my legs in the hot towel, but instead just used it to remove the lotion. She also left callus all over my feet. The Deluxe Pedi Treatment is advertised to be 50 min, it was MAYBE 20-30 min. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Actually just don't come here at all. read more

Atmosphere is pretty and fun for a party. They have tons of seating. Sadly, their staff must be over worked because the service is lack luster for such a beautiful venue. The potential is there. I made a reservation for 4 people. We all started at the pedicure massage chair. We finished in a timely manner. The polish job looked decent-good on all 4 of us. The tasks performed during the service was subpar. Classic pedicure was $37 and included a scrub exfoliation for the calf, a little lotion or oil, and buffing and removal of dead skin on the foot. I barely felt anything. I could have done this at home and done a better job. My daughter and her friend got a manicure on top of pedicure service. Unfortunately they too got mediocre treatment on their hands and arms. I paid $200 and tipped 20% just because I felt bad for these overworked women. However, I will never return for such little service provided to my 12 yr old daughter, her friend and mom that I was with. Super bummed. That said, I can't believe how packed this place gets. Pretty fancy nail saloon on the Eastside. Went in with a friend yesterday and it was a good experience. Make an appointment as its usually busy, though they say walk ins are welcome. Once you are in, they offer you a paper to choose the type of manicure/pedicure you need. A drink is complimentary with the service- wine, coke, diet coke, lemonade, water etc. I chose the shellac manicure, which has a lotion massage after the manicure- so good, get this! The lady who did mine was very fast with the service, hence 3 stars. She didn't finish the corners for couple of my fingers. I went back today to get it re done, they gladly did it. I use to come here before COVID and had a good experience. I went back a month ago and the girl was rude and I left with burns on almost all my fingers. I still went back and was told I'd have a different girl. I didn't, same girl. Luckily no burns but 5 days later three nails were broken. I couldn't come in until Wednesday and had them done 7 days prior and they wanted to charge. They never responded to my burns/cuts. I made appointments twice and both times they weren't expecting me, so don't expect that they'll honor your appointment with the mail tech you choose. The first time I asked for gel nail fills but they put acrylic over my existing gels. I went back two weeks later to have this fixed and to have my practice nails done for my son's wedding and again, they weren't expecting me. They took me, but 25 minutes later all they had done was remove a tiny spot of polish on one pinky. I really wanted this to be my nail place - but Ive visited 4 times now in the past year, every single time asking for the nail shellac manicure and 3 of those 4 times my shellac nails are ridiculously chipped less than 4 days after visiting the salon! For the record, Im an office executive 9-5 doing nothing extraneous with my hands other than typing...so why cant my nails stay unchipped?!? Especially when that shellac manicure runs $45.00! I visited another salon off factoria few weeks prior, that shellac lasted unchipped about 14 days - i guess ill have to go there instead. If you want ambiance and the "idea" that youre being pampered yes go here - if you want a functional shellac manicure that lasts how its supposed to, do not waste your time/money here. read more

I come to this business when I have a guest in town and we need a relaxation treat. It's a great place with a lot of stations, nice staff, and lots of services, so my guests can get exactly what they want. I always make an appointment, and most of the time we go in the morning on weekends. I've been coming to this nail salon for a while now and I've always had a good experience but this time I came in with my sister @5:30pm. the lady who took me was wonderful but the one who got my sister was rude, in a rush and overall disrespectful. She cut her finger multiple times and then when she applies the pinky nail acrylic she filed it so rough that the nail ripped off completely!! I have been looking for a regular nail salon, and was pretty excited to find this spot close to my office. Located in a strip mall there is ample parking, which is nice. I arrived on a warm Friday afternoon and they were packed. Later, I was told by a regular that Monday-Thursday afternoons are much less busy. Which makes sense. Upon entering the salon, I was greeted warmly at the front desk and given a sheet to fill out. The sheet had me choose the type of service I wanted, along with my complimentary beverage. I believe the choices were: fountain soda, frozen margaritas (strawberry and lime) champagne, wine, water and a mimosa. Obviously, it's not top of the line champagne but I thought it was a nice touch. For me, there is never a bad time for a mimosa. I was impressed by the soothing, luxurious interior. There is a relaxing waterfall on the back wall with large pedicure chairs lining the left and right walls. The nail polishes are presented on rows of dark wood shelves, and beautiful music played in the background. In the center of the space is a horseshoe pattern of manicure tables. They are close together but it's not claustrophobic. I sat down and a woman sat across from me and prepared my dip powder to be soaked off. She wasn't too friendly but she was getting it done. She got up and was quickly replaced by someone else. The techs are all wearing dark smocks and name tags. Vivian was next to sit across from me, and she worked pretty fast. She did not use the colours I choose, I don't know if anyone gave them to her, but I had wanted a French manicure using two shades of sparkly pink dip powder. She ended up using a nude base with white tips. I did mention the colour issue immediately but she said this combo was classy, which I thought was funny. I continued with the nude/pink combo because it did look nice on the first nail. Another thing, I had finally grown my nails and asked her to take just a small bit off, I thought she might file them down a little. I looked away and she had cut, so they were a bit shorter than I wanted but I still wasn't bothered. She finished pretty fast, I felt satisfied so I paid my bill and left. The prices are extremely reasonable, so I was confident this would be my go to place. Within a few days I noticed my hair would get stuck a little on my nails when I would put my fingers in my hair. You can't see by looking at them, but the edges near my cuticles are rough. Again, like the polish colour or the too short nails, I'm not hugely bothered by it, but it's all worth including in a review. I would definitely give this place another shot. The atmosphere is very pretty and the prices are great, and most of staff was very friendly. read more

This place is amazing, and Mimi did a fantastic job on my nails! The design is exactly like i wanted and she even helped me to decided between dip and acrylic based off what would be best for me! She was so polite and kind even though my appointment went over their closing time. She made me feel really well cared for and i left feeling so happy about my nails! The place itself is beautiful and had lots of fun nail colors to choose from and you get a complimentary drink of choice! I got Lee as my nail esthetician and was not impressed. I don't mind quiet and not being friendly but when she was trimming the nails, etc she was very aggressive and I literally had to pull back from a sharp pain to check to see if I was bleeding! Her nail polish work wasn't the best either. After she was "done" I noticed that there's splotches on my big toe and it did not look good at all. When I pointed it out to her she redid it by covering it up with another thick coat rather than redoing the toe. Finally, when putting on my sandals, she was not that gentle/careful either. I'm sure every esthetician quality and attention to details is different. However I would not recommend Lee. read more

I gave this place three chances before reviewing. I paid more for a pedicure based on the fact I wanted more extensive message. They didn't even message my feet. The leg lotion was not a message more like rubbing lotion on the legs for a few minutes. The water was Luke warm, and most of the pedicure time was her talking to the nail tech, my nails I trimmed myself and don't even need filing. My nails, the three times I got my acrylic with shellac covering at this salon the product hasn't even lasted 10 days. The acrylic chips at the corners very easily and then the shellac is not done all the way down to the sides of the nail bed and Often chips in just two days as well. Rushed service, low quality material was used. Poor messages. Nice abundance, free beverages may be cool if you drink. Gave two stars for cleanliness and ambience. As for quality of service and finished nail products, and their longevity, and price: Zero stars. I am not hard on my nails, When I go elsewhere they last a month no problem. I tried this spot for convince of location. Will not be back. Get the basic pedi as it is the same as the signature which more $ for advertised stones, salt and longer message, again there was no foot message. I came in on a Friday with an appointment. Check in was quick and there was plenty of seats available in the waiting area. This is the most largest and prettiest nail salon I have been to get my nails done. They have two walls filled with nail polish, approximately a dozen seats for manicures and two dozen massage chairs for pedicures. This place offers waxing as well. My experience was pretty average. The host checked me in, ask me to choose a color, escorted me to my chair, and provided me with a drink. The nail technician was professional, quiet, and quick. My pedicure was done in half an hour and it looked good. No bleeding or blobs. I have to say this was one of my most pleasant nail salon experiences. There is no loud gossip between the technician like most of the other salons, so it made the experience very relaxing. read more

Castle Nail Bar is a brand new nail bar in the Eastgate Bellevue area. Their location is conveniently located in a newly remodeled shopping center off of interstate 90. I work near here and pass this location daily so I've been able to personally watch the construction progress and the new shops enter the area. When you walk in you can fill out a sheet to let them know what services you will be receiving. You can select a complimentary drink served with your service. For your manicure and/or pedicure you can also choose a complimentary essential oil blend to be used. This is a beautiful touch and really enhances the experience. Tammy did my mani and pedi and was very gentle and friendly. She took her time to be sure they look great. Before the official grand opening Castle Nail Bar did a soft opening with 30% off all services and advertised it outside the building. I'm not sure if this is still going on but it was the day I stopped in for the grand opening. The interior is beautiful and offers everything a nail salon should. Marble floors, chandeliers, water features, you name it. Its clean, comfortable and relaxing. I've come here a few times before and had a few problems, but very little that I have overlooked them. When I came in last time, I didn't make an appointment, but they were kind enough to do my nails anyway. I got an acrylic full set and the service was going great until I asked her to change from a pink color to black brown and white different colored nails. I acknowledge that it was an inconvenience and understood if she wasn't able to do it, but she said that it was ok. She made me get up to go look and pick out the different colors. When she painted one of my nails, it wasn't the color I expected it to be nor what I wanted on my nails, so I asked her before drying to remove it, and she mumbled something under her breath as she reached under the counter to grab the nail polish remover. She walked me through all of the options and it was so nice to see all the options/prices BEFORE you sit in the chair -- very easy to select the right package and color so once I sat down it was time to relax.
