Went in for a last minute walk in appointment to get my nails done before going on a family trip. The nails are actually very beautiful but I did notice the nail file they used wasn't new, to me that's a huge red flag for the overall cleanliness of the establishment. Nail fungus is no joke. But I held my breath and didn't say anything. The nails did come out beautiful. But with a price tag of $150 before tip I was quite shocked. I payed, tipped and left. The next morning I woke up and my fingers hurt and itched. I gave it a couple days hoping it would go away, but it didn't. They have started to get swollen, red and still very itchy. I called them and let them know I was having a reaction and the response was "and what would you like us to do?" I was shocked that this was their response, and I said I didn't know because I had never had any kind of reaction before, so I was hoping they could tell me what I should do in this situation. Her response was "well if it's really bad you can just remove them." Completely unacceptable customer service. They couldn't even offer to remove them? It's been less than a week and for the price that was paid? I'd steer far away from this business, even if the nails look good. The health of your body is more important. I called La Vie around 1:30 today and asked if they had availability for a mani-pedi. She said "yes, can you do 2:00?", then asked me if it was "too soon". I said no, I can be there at 2. I'm thinking this is great. I can get in and get my nails done, get some more work done, and get on with my evening. I get there at 2:00 and they look busy, but I'm thinking she told me to come at 2 so someone is available. A guy comes over and asks the lady beside me if she's there for a pedicure, then asks me the same thing. He runs our pedicure water and starts working on the other lady. I'm waiting, feet in the water, looking at my watch. It's 2:15, and I'm thinking, ok someone should be coming soon. At 2:20 I take my feet out of the water so they can dry, knowing that I'll stop wasting my time in another 5 minutes. Sure enough, 2:25 rolls around, I put on my shoes and I walk out. There's really nothing else to say. Just piss-poor customer service at it's finest. Can't understand why they think it's ok to keep people waiting past their appointment time, like putting your feet in water makes it all better. Unfortunately this type of service is par for the course for nail salons around here. Definitely won't be returning. read more

DISCLAIMER I don't believe I have ever given this low of rating but with the starting of chipping within one day, and the bad treatment from Mai, I won't be back. Recently I came in to get a French manicure and pedicure with shellac. I had a very nice experience with two women that were kind, great personalities and were fun to talk to about their lives, travel, families and even dinner plans. They did a great job and when I checked out I was surprised that it was $110 but I added approx 20% tip (total of $130) and headed out for my trip the next day. The first day that I got there one of my fingernails started to chip. I took a photo of it. Then two days later, another nail started to chip in within a few days I had four or five nails that were chipped. I've always had shellac nails last a very long time, so I was completely surprised. By the time I arrived back from my trip I had four nails that looked good still. When I contacted by phone, they said it was fine to come in and that they would fix them. However, when I walked in, I was greeted very differently. Mai took charge of the conversation and strongly explained that they would not be upholding their five day policy since I came in 12 days later. I would completely understand this if my nails were chipping 12 days later, but they weren't. I even had photos to prove that are time stamped, but she was quite blunt and basically said no. So instead, I had all of it removed. She had the woman who had originally put the shellac on my nails, remove it, and the same woman that had cheerily spoken with me previously was now in silence. Even when I tried to smile or ask how her husband and dinner was, I could tell she felt like she couldn't speak freely. It felt like she would be mistreated or punished if she was kind to me. I even at one point asked are you not allowed to talk to me? And she just responded with I don't know. And even if as I was leaving, and I asked Mai for her name, there were no apologies, no explanations, no kindness at all. That is quite a mistreatment of customers. This could've simply been rectified with options. For example don't want to guarantee your work? At least offer up other options... costs for nail color change, a regular nail color (not shellac), a discount, or even a simple apology of any sort or kindness. The photos below are of when they were completed on day one and then one of the photos when it started chipping. I wish I would've taken a photo of when they all were chipped. It was very bad. I have been here for manicures and pedicures a number of times over the past 2 or 3 years maybe? Every time, the staff are kind and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant & clean. I've never had a poor nail experience with either my hands or feet. The technicians who perform the pedicures always ask if the towels or water are too hot. I've brought in custom photos of nail art & each time I am shocked at how great they turn out. Ni, Mai, & two other ladies I've seen often are just amazing (I want to say Linda? Lyn?) I went to a different place once because it is closer than La Vie & I regretted it immediately. There was just not the same quality at other places like there is here. :) read more

Ive been here all but two times and im blown away. Quick, organized and their looks and colors are super trendy! I come here for a design and I loved it all! This place is my new go to, the parking, the effort and time. They also look around the corners and make suggestions! They are all about making you feel welcome and sometimes have wine! Today was my first time visiting this nail salon and I had a fabulous visit. The establishment is well organized and clean. I was greeted by a front desk and a man I assume to be the owner/manager. He showed me how to check-in and then had me sit down in a a waiting area. My nail appointment was at 2:00 PM and I was seated around 2:10. Not bad at all, especially for how busy the nail salon is. They have almost 8-10 manicurist working at a time. My appointment was with Mai. She was very kind and noticed that I was a new customer and asked me some questions to get to know me. I was at the nail salon for over 2 hours but I really appreciated Mai's dedication and work quality. I originally wanted an acrylic full set but she suggest doing dip instead and I was hesitant at first but I am so happy I followed her suggestion. I am completely in love with my nails. Mai beautifully executed the nail design I wanted and at no point complained about the amount of time it took her. The only reason I do not give this nail salon a 5 star is because it's a bit pricey. I had a dip manicure done with tips and nail designs on all my nails and was over $100. However I had no issue paying it because Mai really went above and beyond on my nails. Their grand opening was February 2020 right before COVID. Clean, hygienic, friendly, fair value. Plenty of parking. Very average nail salon in regards to service and quality, with bright ambiance. They use technology to check folks in. They take your name and number. Walk in allowed. Love how you don't pick colors from a wall. Minimized movement of clients. I only got a regular pedicure, $35, which took total of 40 minutes. Included massage was adequate, outcome nothing amazing. Do you feel pampered, yes! Honestly my last couple experience hasn't been good at all. The last time I got nails done here, they were so bad I had to come back a couple days to ask them to remove the polish, it was layered on so thick, it was tacky looking for 70$ job, I came back to have it thinned out, and they tried to charge me 15$ for polish to repaint after, so I didn't opt for it since I thought that was really ridiculous. Had to come back again within a week since 4 nails broke in less than 5 days, so had to come back again, they discussed what to do, and recommended s&s to only be told at the end of the service they were charging me for removal of my 4 broken nails! Which I did not appreciate, and is horrible business practice, you always tell customers before. But when I had a previous nail apt before that, my nails broke and called and came in 3 diff times with a time, only to be sitting in the waiting area 2030-1hr with no service for broken nail, wasted so much of my time, only not be serviced and waited til my next nail apt to get them fixed! But when I miss an apt to fix my broken nail they called me out in front of the whole salon but had no issues making me wait 2 hours altogether on 3 diff occasions for a broken nail previously.....so at this point my last service with them is going to be removal, because they do a decent job and doesn't destroy your nail health so I'll give them that. But look at the decline of my nail jobs over the years....I went from IG baddie nails to paying for shitty nails I'm embarrassed to be walking around with and literally paid over 200$ just to fix the hack job because I couldn't get a decent set the first time around. I'm not going to get my nails done anymore. When you're paying to get ripped off and not even get what you wanted, and treated differently once you ask them to fix anything they did not do to your liking, they treat you completely different and not friendly after and will not talk to you and sit in awkward silence. I still tipped 20% every time since I know it's not worth their time or money, when I didn't have to. Booking online never works and you have to call in, but when I use a different number not mine you can book easily. So maybe I'm blacklisted due to my bad reviews but when I first came here, my experience hasn't been as great since when I first started going there. I came here at the beginning of the summer for a pedicure. It was a fine experience, but my pedicure chipped in about a week and I noticed after taking off the polish that both of my big toenails were damaged. I did not injure them in any way before or after the pedicure. I've been monitoring them since then, and things have just been getting worse and worse. Now it's been about three months, and the top half of my toenails are on the verge of falling off. I am desperately trying to prevent that from happening with some dip powder I have at home. I don't know what the technician did to make this happen, but my nails were completely fine before (I have been doing my own nails and pedicures for the past couple of years and had zero issues) and now they're on the verge of falling off. They will even send you a reminder once the appointment is booked. I made my appointment on a Friday evening for a manicure. I was running a few minutes late and they were ok with it. I was greeted at the door and provided with a booklet with nail color samples. They have a very beautiful color selection. My technician was Bi and she did a good job. I felt very relaxed as I should be when I'm at a Spa. The only negative thing I have to say about this nail spa is its a little more expensive than what I normally pay. I had an amazing experience here. I came in with a month old acrylic set and wanted a brand new one. I am new to getting my nails done and didn't know it's better to ask for a fill and change the color at the same time instead of taking acrylics off and replacing them completely every time. So as Daisy was taking my old set off, two of my nails actually started bleeding and it hurt, but she took her time and was extremely gentle with me. All the while she was helping me understand what a fill is and that I should probably do that next time. I felt very safe and comfortable with her. She made sure to be extra careful with my broken nails and my new nails came out AMAZING (right pic). I think they look exactly like the reference photo I showed Daisy (left pic). I love the length, thickness, design, etc. I will definitely be going back. Also to clarify, I absolutely don't blame Daisy for my nails breaking and bleeding. I had gotten my nails done about 4 times before (each time completely removing the acrylics and reapplying new ones) and so I believe they were extremely thin and frail... making it inevitable that they broke. As I put my phone in my purse to leave someone sits down and asks to start working on me. I agree and we begin. Apparently another customer was getting married and today was her spa day. I just wish I could have been communicated to and had my own time respected. I asked for an edgier version of the French tip acrylic nails and provided a picture. I also had a crack in one of my nails that had to be filled. And got EXACTLY what I wanted. My complaint with that was I got passed around to multiple people. One person did the maintenance of my nails, one did the filing, one did the shaping, one did the base color, and then one did the design. They were all VERY nice. But it was just a little chaotic for me. Overall - I would go back here. It was a nice salon and they did a really good job. They did charge me extra even though I just got the French tip. She brought me back to the nail table and finished the acrylic, started filing and kept burning my nails with her e file when I would pull my hand back she would grab my hand and keep filing. I asked for French tip color, by the time I left the salon my nails were much much shorter than I asked, I had nail polish on my fingers & hands, and look more like a ballet shape than coffin. They also charged $15 to do the French tip?! Never in my life have I heard or seen charges to do French tips. I was really upset as I thought I was going to have a good experience, I left immediately as I was already there for 3 hours and just wanted to go home. I went in for a regular manicure and pedicure in the afternoon. When I walked in, there was a person ahead of me, but someone came to fix her nail. She was not paying nor there for a new appointment. This should have been warning enough. The lady who did my manicure was rushing and kept answering calls and putting her aipods in to talk to whoever was calling her. I still tipped. That was a mistake. The next day, literally less than 24 hours later, I had 3 nails with chipped polish. I called and explained, and the man on the phone said "well it's regular not gel or shellac, so it chips easily so that's not guaranteed." I tried to explain that I understand that regular nail polish will obviously not last as long as gel, but even when I do my own nails it lasts more than a day. I'm told him I was calling to see if there is a solution. I came to have a relaxing experience and get my nails done since I haven't in at least a year. I asked if there was anything they could do... refund me or fix it. He said no and he kept interrupting me on the phone and when I said "I'm talking, don't interrupt." He told me to shut up. On first impression, the salon is very clean and welcoming. I was a walk in client and was served right away. I asked for a pedicure and was directed to the available chair. The nail tech I had was polite, professional and sweet. She helped me pick a color and explained that the color I chose was available in two options: normal polish or gel. I think that's pretty unique! She did a great job. I almost fell asleep as she was massaging my calves haha she paid attention to detail and exceeded my expectations. I have been going to La Vie En Rose for the past 4 months. Today I went in on a Sunday and the service was off. No one greeted me, once I was seated, a lady doing my pedicure can up and seated me. The lady that eventually came to do my pedicure did not speak to me and the whole time she seemed vey distracted (looking around) and talking/listening to her ear piece. She cut one of my nails uneven and left a ton of polish on my skin. At the very end, she said "Thank you" and walked away. I paid $45 for this and my total was $80 for mani/pedi. I refused to tip her as well. Owners were not there like they usually are and I felt staff was lacking what they usually offer. I will take my $80 somewhere else next time. read more

I didnt love the color. It came out a bubble bath OPI pink rather than a kaki pink like the swatch. My gel manicure didnt last more than a week though. Like I said, they did a nice job with my nails, great shape and loved my cuticles. They cleaned everything up great. Just wish the polish had lasted longer....I had to redo them after just (7) days..... kind of a bummer when you are talking about gel. Plus considering the price. My toes look fabulous though. Only thing that made my review 4 instead of 5 is they charged me more than what I was thought (because of length) I think this charge is really strange to me, atleast this time when charged my nails were "long" I will definitely be back. Full set was 75$ for ombre it's more than what I normally pay but still a happy customer. Update review. Came to get a fill and waited 30 minutes after my appointment time! Not only that but then she looked at me And said she was done while the girl was still in her chair, and nails weren't event dry yet.... telling me your done doesn't make it less than 30 minutes late. When it was another ten minutes after she said that before I actually sat in the chair. On top of that 20$$$$ for two broken nails. And ombré? Which she only used one powder I told her she could leave the tip clear so she didn't have to blend and all that but still. 3-5$ is average charge for a broken nail fixed. I honestly shouldn't have tipped but I'm in the service industry and it's hard not too. But looking back I was not happy with the service or the BS hidden charges they add on at this place. (Such as excessive cuticles) never heard of such a thing! Really such a disappointment as NI does a great job at nails but I can't bring myself to go back. So many nail places in factoria and so much competition you would think they would want returning customers. I Won't be back, and I'm sad about it just because she's a good nail tech. Mai gave me a Shellac fill and within two days my nails started chipping because she didn't paint the stop of the nail and it wasn't cured properly. I just shrugged it off as an oh well until THEY all started chipping. I called when I had an evening free and I was informed they were too busy and to call tomorrow when I was off work and I could get them fixed. I do just that, call the next day and the guy owner tells me I'll need to pay because that would have been the 7th day. I'm sorry what?! The acrylics are clear, very narrow which I really like. They do a GREAT job shaping, beautiful nail designs and have a wide range of colors. Very clean and pretty interior, they take safety protocols very seriously with moveable screens and cleaning stations after every client. This was a new experience for me but here we go, My lady and I came in for manicure and pedicure. We had a great experience and the work looks good. Customer service was exceptionally good with female staff I heals and male staff dressed nicely. Everyone was very polite and friendly. The staff working on my girl and I were very attentive to detail and did a good job. This establishment was decorated very nicely and followed the COVID Safety guidance. One thing that stood out a lot was they serve wine. I did not partake due to work in a few hours but I don't believe every nail place serves wine. To wrap it all up, for the experience the price was ok. In a normal nail place I don't think the price would be so high but due to the classy environment and great service the price was fine.
