I absolutely love Castle Valley Dental. They have always done such a wonderful job taking care of my family and making us feel comfortable, welcome, and well cared for. I have seen a few dentists with them. They were wonderful and the staff is too - taking the time to explain everything. Reagan at the front desk is a sweetheart and Brandy my hygienist was fantastic! They love what they do and it's evident! They are a family-owned practice and that totally shows. They truly care. I don't typically write reviews, but could not recommend them more. CONFESSION: I haven't (or I guess I should say hadn't!) been to the dentist in 6 years! I finally went because I have good insurance, and this place was great! My teeth are still perfect (never had a cavity!), so I can't speak to any major dental work, but for a good routine cleaning I found this office to be friendly, immaculately clean, and professional. Dr. Jamin Hauser was very personable and answered all of my questions. I deducted a star for two reasons: first, because their text reminder came only 1 hour before my appointment and I think it would be most helpful if it came 24 hours before, and second there was a lot of pressure to make my next appointment and warnings that I wouldn't be able to get in if I didn't do this before leaving. I don't know why that would be?! I'm sure they do this because of people like me who are bad about getting their teeth cleaned in general, but I really didn't like it. read more

I had to cancel my dental appointment due to an out of town family emergency. They then charged us a $50 fee because it was within the 24 hours. Calling and canceling my appointment is the last thing on my mind when we have a family emergency. Afterwards, I called them and cancelled all remaining appointments I had with them for a family of four. We will go elsewhere. read more

Incompetent is how I would classify this office. Javan only cares about money and Jamin is never there. Javan says he can do work but does not care about the outcome. He will ALWAYS recommend the most expensive procedure AND drops last-minute expenses when you are ready to get the work done. Javan left me infected and in pain and never had the knowledge to diagnose my infection. THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS later and after getting the butcher job fixed (that I was assured would be no problem by Javan) I am still dealing with the terrible work done by Javan. There are too many qualified dentists in Castle Rock now to deal with the nonsense from this outfit. The front desk is very unpersonable as well. If I could give negative 5 stars it would no be enough. They must be hurting for money. Very disappointing to say the least! read more

After we moved from CA here to Castle Rock, this was our first dental office that we have tried, based on the reviews here. It didn't go that well. My husband went there couple of times to get few things done. One of those times, he was supposed to get a crown in but their machine broke so they didn't do it. Sure enough, a little after that, we were billed for the crown that was never put in. So we called them and we were told that the crown WAS put in and that we were wrong. My husband was out of town then so he couldn't go in to show them that the damn crown is not there. It took a few phone calls and little investigation on their part and then finally some assistant remembered the day that their machine was broken and that day matched up the date that my husband was in. No one really apologized but they refunded the money. When I calculated it, we have received about $300 less than we should have so a few more phone calls back talking to the accountant department and I had to explain them how I got to the number. Ehm, isn't that you job? Anyways, at the end, we were refunded that too. Also it was kind of annoying that we were reminded of the appointment by phone (which I totally understand and am thankful for), but also by text message and an email all in the same day. I can't really comment on the dental work, maybe they are great in that department but the rest was not impressive and we are looking for a different dental office. read more

I can't believe I'm the first to review Castle Valley Dental and Dr. Hauser! I have never had a dentist that I liked in my life and I have been to many. I was always going from one to another to see if it was even possible to like a dentist. My search is finally over now that I found Dr. Hauser. Everyone in the office is fantastic and I always know that I am getting the best care possible. They have top of the line equipment as well! I had to get a root canal last year and didn't have to have do it in 2 visits as they can make the crown on spot and set in your mouth. I work in Castle Rock, so it is convenient for me to see them, but I would continue to drive the distance even if I moved across the state. They are definitely worth the trip! read more

This place is a joke!!!! I went in for a routine cleaning last year (mind you I went to a previous dentist living in Australia and they didn't say I needed any of the upcoming work) and they came back to claim I needed about 6 different procedures completed. Per their suggestions, I then had these procedures completed with the most recent back in March as a filling that needed to be "replaced". Mind you, for me the tooth they replaced the filling on didn't have pain or wasn't an issue, I just had them do the work per their "expertise". I now, 7 months later am having excruciating pain in that tooth and called to get it checked out. They now want to charge me again to see the doctor to get this tooth looked at telling me it's been 7 months. So you're telling me work shouldn't last more than 7 months???? WHAT??? To say I'm furious is an understatement and if I could deter 1 person from going to this con-artist I hope I save you the pain!!! read more

Our family of 5 has been going to Castle Valley Dental since moving here in 2013. We really like the dentists, very personable, and the hygienists as well. The office staff is the problem here and I tried going through the proper channels, of speaking with Megan, the "office manager" (who apparently also is the only one that can help with an insurance claims) multiple times. I have left at least 6 messages and she has always been "too busy running between offices" but I have been assured by both Brittany and Shawnie that she has received all of my messages. It started when we were charged $50. for a cancellation fee when I ONLY gave 23 hours notice, the office policy is 24, NO exceptions, even when your husband is an anesthetist and finds out about an emergency add surgery he has for the next day and can't make his 4:30 appt. I called 15 min after they opened the next morning to be sure they received the message since they were already closed at 5:15 when I called to cancel. I was told yes, they received it and I was told I would be charged the $50. I then asked if my daughter could take the appointment and Brittany proceeded to tell me it had already been filled. This is the point I asked to talk to Megan and was told she was too busy and would call me back. She never did, I called 4 more times regarding this issue of me paying for a cancelled appointment that was filled within 15 min of them receiving the message. I paid the 50. because I take care of my obligations. Now I am receiving letters from my insurance company that they have not received necessary information on a claim for a crown over 6 months ago. I called to talk to the insurance person regarding this and am told it's none other than Megan. I voiced my concern over never getting called back with my previous problem and Shawnie assured me she would get an answer even if it meant her calling me rather than Megan. Nothing, that was over a week ago. I have asked to leave messages for one of the doctors to call me and was told "they trust Megan's judgement implicitly and they will not talk about billing problems". Well the 5 of us, along with the 2 other families we referred to them, are leaving the practice. I guess they are ok with Megan running their business into the ground. We found a new dentist that understands professionals have obligations that sometimes result in them having to cancel appointments with less than 24 hours notice. read more

If I could give a negative rating I would. This this the worst dental care I ever received. I was told I needed crowns on 2 teeth. I didn't have any pain in these teeth and no trouble but was told it just had to be done. I was numbed up nothing was explained to me at all and some new tech has me sign consent . What they failed to explain was them doing a crown could cause me needing a root canal. 2 days after the EXPENSIVE crowns I started having trouble . Infection after infection and the pain was unbearable . 3 months of going in and having them"adjust my bite" I'm told I need a root canal and it normally costs 1500.00 and they don't do it . I no longer had dental insurance and basically told to suck it up and go get the root canal. Needless to say had to have the tooth pulled and Castle Rock Dental won't take any responsibility. Worst service ever and the receptionist was ignorant and gave wrong information multiple times ! read more
