I complained about migraines and face pain , also shoulder/arm/back pain from being on the computer at work too much. She gave me a brief acupuncture session and showed me some stretches / self massage to do at home. especially my lymph nodes. She seems knowledgeable. However I was not pleased at the end because she neglected to tell me ahead of time in our communication emails that she only takes cash. I had an insurance copay of $15 and since I didn't have cash on me, I had to walk to the neighboring Grocery Outlet to use my debit card and get some cash back in order to pay her. Really wish she could have been more upfront about that or had any signs posted at the front lobby. I think she shares the space with some other doctors as I saw advertising and business cards on display for another doctor. The facilities were old and needed updating, but it was kept relatively clean. Not sure if I will be back or not, she didn't even try to reschedule me for another visit. It was a pretty busy saturday morning when I went.

I've gone to a lot of PT in my life. So far, this has been a great experience. Yes, you spend as…read moremuch time with the assistant as with the PT; this is typical of our current medical billing climate. However, I felt like I was able to have all of my questions answered, and the staff worked well together and knew what they were doing. At other PT offices in the area, I have had appointments where they just put you on an exercise bike or a tens unit and forget you; but not here. I also like that there is only one PT; meaning you don't have to re-explain your case to a myriad of rotating therapists. Parking is convenient and so far, they've run on time. I found it easy to make an appointment here, and was able to schedule follow-ups at times that worked with my schedule. In terms of the other reviewers who say the PT does not have a great personality/bedside manner; I didn't find that to be the case. He was direct and didn't make a lot of small-talk, but did make time to frequently check in; even when I was working with the assistant. Coming from the East Coast, I appreciate that kind of efficiency.
