I used discovery chiropractic several years ago for a back injury I sustained. Dr Chu was one of the best chiropractors I ever had in 20 years. She was so good, I even referred a coworker who had a great experience as well. Fast forward three years and I returned for some different issues. I was nervous and skeptical because there was a new doctor named Dr Leon and I was worried about continuity of care. I was wrong. She has been awesome. She explains everything simply but thoroughly and gives my situation the personal attention it needs while developing a corrective plan that has made me feel 100 percent better in daily activities. I have been experiencing neck pain for the past several months. My HMO recommended therapy and that did not help me at all. I pass by Discovery Chiropractic all the time because it's in my neighborhood, so I decided why not give it a try. Their staff is very friendly and informative. I met with Dr Hans and explained my symptoms. He took X-rays and provided met a treatment plan. After two adjustments I feel better then I have in months. The staff here is friendly and responsive so the review is not a knock on them. What I did not like, was the attempt, before I had ever even received my first treatment, to sell me on a nearly $3,000 treatment package over the course of 3 months. To their credit, the people at Discover Chiropractic took "no" for an answer and did not engage in high pressure sales tactics. But nevertheless, I felt their attempt to sign me up for a hugely expensive treatment course, before I had received my first adjustment, was heavy handed and it left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I have been to two previous chiropractors, and Dr. Chu is the first to take the time to X-ray and explain to me what was causing me pain, and how to go about correcting it. I have always been skeptical of chiropractic care, but not anymore! In 6 weeks I feel 10x better, and understand what I need to do to help correct my issues. I love this place! The staff here is so friendly and so considerate of you! I got into a pretty bad car accident 2 days ago and turns out I had soft tissue damage on my neck and it swelled up in the back. This place is the most BS place ever. I originally go in for an adjustment 10 months ago with this promo deal..... Thinking I am going to get treated after watch 20 min with of stupid videos of this guy trying to explain chiropractic care. I finally get through all the videos and I am told that I need to make another appointment for an adjustment... So I do... Mean while I'm in a lot of pain. So I come back later that day and watch another 10 min of video and then telling me I need to do this treatment plan... It was like someone was trying to sell me a used car and a service package to go along with it. Very frustrating... Granted once I declined several times, I felt like I was being hounded... I was really annoyed with these people ...finally I got the adjustment after a very time waste annoying experience... 10 months go by I felt like I needed an adjustment... I live rite by the place and its I front of Safeway so I thought what the heck... I go back in and ask for an apt... I spoke with the Young chiropractic lady, she remember me I said I wanted and adjustment... She said ok when do you want to come in. So I come in next morning and it starts all over agin $120 for an exam cause over 6 months and $70 for an adjustment... Talk about hustlers never again!!! read more
