Having a patio as well as inside seating really provides two great options for customers no matter what kind of setting they like to dine in. Staff was fantastic. This place is insanely overpriced, $43 dollars for a lobster roll. who would've thought that a family of four would have to pay over $200 for one night of food. Service was average and ambiance was average. Lobster was very undercooked (42$). Would never come again, used to be good, new owners maybe? read more

Waited over 30 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and take drink orders. Over another hour before food came out. it was not good. Owner didn't care, he was more interested in singing with the band. Will definite not be going back. Owner will not allow any negative feedback. He deletes any negative comments and blocks you. read more

0 Stars. Sat at the bar that abuts the open kitchen on Sunday with a group of 7 women. After waiting for what felt like forever, we were watching as one of the cooks dropped the bottom half of a burger bun on the floor. We then ALL watched as the other cook picked it back up and placed it on the edge of the grill before the first cook grabbed it, placed lettuce and tomato on it, and plopped it on a plate. We all started yelling for them to stop and that they couldn't serve that. They ACTUALLY ignored us until we basically leaned over the bar and yelled at the top of our lungs. Then one threw their head back in annoyance, not even looking at us still, and finally threw it away. We let the manager know what happened so he could address it and avoid it in the future. No big deal. But not only did the manager/owner NOT apologize, he acted like we were lying and kept referring to his 96 point health inspection rating, as if that somehow negated what just happened. The cooks denied what had happened, even though our WHOLE group saw it, and then the owner, directly in front of us, rolled his eyes and said to them "just do your best, there will always be SOMEBODY watching." It was at this point that we truly decided to leave. I am shocked at the way we were completely dismissed and invalidated, and how he didn't seem to care to impart the importance of food safety standards to his cooks. This speaks to the culture of cleanliness, or lack-thereof, of this establishment. The owners attitude was really the final straw. We offered to pay for our drinks before leaving, and he literally waved his hands at us like he was waving off flies, with still, not a single word of apology or any attempt to correct the situation, at as he stood by the door on our way out. Shameful. Don't eat here for 2 reasons; 1) you could be served floor food and get very sick. And 2) the owner obviously does not care about food safety OR respecting his customers. read more

The hot lobster roll was fresh, buttery, and everything you'd expect with big chunks of lobster meat on a hot griddled roll. The clam chowder was Dynamite with plenty of clams in it. Fish and chips were a large portion of cod, cooked perfectly. In fact, everything was obviously fresh and all was delicious. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Caswell has done a great job with this restaurant! He makes amazing chowder, strips and the coleslaw is the BEST! I would like to comment on some of the more negative reviews. It's too bad you had a negative experience. Go back and try it again. Talk to the owner. Trust me, we have all been to a good restaurant on a bad day. I decided to get take out at 11:30 which is early and the fries were cold. Ordered fish and chips the batter on the fish was super doughy. Like two tubes of dough with fish inside. (I was used to the previous place which had lighter crispy breading. When you got chips they were always piping hot.) They changed the place to table service which is not desirable for a beach setting. I won't bother going back. Very let down with the food at the price I paid. Bummer. read more

This was a disgrace to fried seafood. The clam cakes were mushy balls of dough. Clam strips just felt like fried air. We got takeout and asked for extra tartar sauce - they didn't even give us ONE! How do you not include tartar sauce with your fried seafood meals?! read more

If there were a zero we'd give a score of zero stars. Allow me ... my husband and I saw an advertisement on FB for a special Tuesday meal deal for $45. We drove many miles to partake. Upon arrival there were many, many empty tables. We questioned each other if we should enter and remain there to eat. A very loud woman welcomed us and we informed her that we were there for the "Tuesday Special." She seemed put out and tried to talk us into ordering something else, a grilled cheese sandwich. We reiterated that we wanted the "Lobster Lovers Combo" with the 6 oz. hot lobster roll, cup of chowder, French fries, 2 clam cakes, Cole slaw, and fountain soda. The loud woman asked a half dozen waiters about my inquiry and then she stated if we ordered that all the items would be priced separately, not as a meal deal. She also called "Sean" from the kitchen area, he was more pleasant, and even tried referencing the add up on his phone. While he did so, however, she again loudly stated, "No, Sean, all of the food items would have to be priced separately." I explained that that was false advertising and she just shrugged her shoulders. She was extremely rude and loud so I simply replied we'd leave and go elsewhere. Now we know why there was no one there eating. It's not a reputable business. The loud woman made the rest of the staff most uncomfortable. My husband and I witnessed false advertising, talk about "bait and switch.' We won't return and now realize why the establishment has had such terrible business this summer. read more

This place is no Two Little Fish and will never ever win Best of Misquamicut/Westerly in the seafood department. First off I am not a fan of table service on the beach you want a quick in and out work of place. Secondly to make this change you need a better staff than was present there this afternoon. At a less than busy time it took over forty five minutes to get our not so difficult meals delivered to our table. Our order consisted of the clam chowder and clam cake combo along with the crab cake sandwich with fries. The chowder wasn't bad but was served less than hot and the clam cakes were burned on the outside heavy and doughy on the inside with very few pieces of clams present as well as being served at nearly room temperature. The crab cake was ALL fillet with NO crab present. The fries were also barely room temp, the pickle was limp and tasteless. The Cole slaw was the best thing about this dish which otherwise was close to being inedible. It was our first time since the change and most certainly will be our last read more
