I'm a Realtor and require well inspections frequently. I've used Don in the past and found him to be timely and informative. Unfortunately, my most recent experience with his company was very different. This time, one of his employees came out to complete the inspection. I met him on-site and specifically asked that he explain his findings to my clients and review the report with them afterward. That never happened, no phone call, no follow-up. Two to three days passed and I still hadn't heard a word from the company. In real estate, we work under strict deadlines and rely heavily on vendors to provide timely, professional service. When I called to express my concerns, Don completely dismissed me. He took no responsibility for his employee's poor performance or lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no accountability. Thirty-six hours after the inspection I still didn't have the report, and when I asked about a discount for the delay, Don flat-out refused. When you charge $350-$400 for a well inspection, the job should be done right the first time. It's not complicated; professionalism, follow-through, and respect for clients' timelines should be the standard. Unfortunately, Don's response made it clear those values weren't a priority. Don was extremely helpful with equipment selection, and I actually ended up with a better pump for lower cost than I was expecting. Don is extremely knowledgeable, and I very much appreciated his advice and efforts getting the electrical and plumbing connected to the house. We call him in the afternoon with pump problems.(No Water) He sent someone over to troubleshoot, found the problem and scheduled a crew to come out the next day and replace the pump. We had water late afternoon. They were very professional and did a good job, cleaned up after themselves and answered my questions. The cost for everything was affordable and within reason. On the second occasion Don was really rude and antagonistic with us, complaining about what we had tried to resolve so far and then finally refusing to assist us.
