He is very professional as far his bedside manner goes; to his expert/precision surgical skills. He was wonderful in dealing with my son's broken elbow. The surgery was two fold, and was also a total success. It was a tricky situation; a growth plate injury. Many years later, the elbow has long recovered and his arm grew normally despite the unfortunate accident. I would highly recommend Dr. Dilella to anyone who needs orthopedic surgery. He specializes in all kinds.

Incredible. I understood my responsibility the 1st time Lastly they are charging me $485.00 out pocket $95.00 more than I paid in Cleveland for the same exact surgery. My friend used the complimentary shuttle service, who picked her up from her home and brought her to the Eye Specialist of Indiana. The driver was incredibly friendly, introduced himself, and made eye contact and shook our hand. Once all testing has been completed here, the shuttle returns to take us to the surgery center downtown at 1901 N. Merdan Street. I'll write a separate review for the surgery center. The staff has been incredibly friendly, well organized, and great about answering questions. The waiting area is extremely large, nicely decorated, filled with comfortable chairs and even a piano. There is a complimentary coffee area with snacks and a microwave. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is the half-hour wait after checking in. Otherwise, everyone has been amazing.

Every year I come in, I remember that I really don't like this place. The optometrists have always been great but the other staff don't even pretend to care. When I was waiting in the lobby for my exam, they were just loudly talking about how much they hate their jobs and how horrible the drs that tell them to do their jobs are. I just picked up my glasses and the girl barely took her eyes of her phone while I was making sure they fit. One time I went in when I had what turned out to be a paint chip in my eye and I could barely open my eye and had tears streaming out of it, and the staff person just keep trying to argue that my insurance wouldn't pay for it. I just kept saying I would pay whatever I'm cash, just fix my eye. I just paid $215 on top of my insurance so it's not even affordable which is the only thing it has going for it. I feel bad since I really like the optometrists, but I'll just find another clinic that doesn't make me feel like I'm bothering them by being a customer.

I am reviewing My Eye Doctor on Shadeland Ave. Like others my initial visit was not good. I was…read moregiven a prescription for contacts that I could not wear. The prescription was not the same as my sample lenses. Because the lenses were purchased at Costco and one used before, I realized what was wrong, I was stuck with $200 of contacts I could not wear. They asked me if I would like a re-exam and I refused, what good is it going to a Dr. who already screwed up. Temple was kind and understanding but limited on what she could do. I received a questionnaire from the corporate office and filled it out with the facts (as above) It stated they would like to talk further and asked if it was ok to call. Of course. That call got action. Temple, who had already been so caring called and explained who the new Dr. was. What he would do before selling contacts and they offered a free eye exam. I agreed, with some hesitation and embarrassment. It was not necessary as they were welcoming, and the new eye Dr. spent about 45 minutes making sure the new contacts would fit. He even recognized I did not want daily wear contacts and gave me a test pair that were really comfortable. As fate would have it my husband hit my hand when I was placing a contact in my eye, and we have never found it. Upon calling, Temple, I was given a new pair and explained I didn't feel I was reading menus as well as I could. They included another contact to try, after talking with the Doctor. Contacts are now comfortable, and I am able to read a menu. I am going back again. Great difference with a doctor who knows what he is doing from one who does not.
