Unfortunately the Johns Creek location has been "closed for renovations" for at least a month so my 3 year old and I have had to go to the Marietta location (almost an hour away) or the Cumming location (closer, but a sketchy/possibly unwelcoming area for Black Americans). My son loves Catch Air so initially we went to the Marietta location, and my son had fun although were some rowdy children left to their own device. Yesterday, we tried the Cumming location. First let me say the staff were nice and welcoming, but upon entering the building the place had a strong odor of smelly feet (e.g., corn chips, smelly feet). My son really wanted to stay so we did and overall the experience was fun for him. There were not a lot of kids there when we went (hours 12-2pm Friday). I will likely not return to this location because compared to the Johns Creek and Marietta locations, there is less to do and honestly the play equipment was worn and felt dirty. Not to mention there was no diversity (my son and I were the only people of color, everyone was European American but that's what you might expect when you have to go to Forsyth County and generally that's not a problem for us). On an upsetting note (for me not my son), while in the ball pit area, with my son, alone, we were playing with the ball machine and a ~12 year old Caucasian girl in a dress comes into the ball pit, gathers up several balls and proceeds to climb up the structure with the balls and shoot them at us with the contraptions above. I thought that was weird because we were the only ones in there and this child went out of her way to do this. Gross. We immediately left that part of the play area and my son did not notice but I made sure to keep my child away from that family of several children (who looked like they may be homeschooled because they had to be in middle school). If a child, a female child at that, goes out of their way to collect and shoot balls at a toddler and their parent when no one else is around, I can not only imagine the mental state she must be in to even think to want to do that, or where she got that from... what a shame. Anyways, overall the experience was satisfactory, but due to the seemingly backwards clientele and the smelly odor, we will make the 45 minute drive to Marietta until the Johns Creek location opens up (hopefully as soon as possible!) read more

My 2 year old loves this place! I think he'd stay all day if I let him. There's tons of things for toddlers to do to run off energy, and for the most part it seems pretty clean. Every time I'm there, there's at least one employee walking around with a spray bottle and paper towels cleaning the equipment. Weekends can get crazy, epically when there's a birthday party going on. Week day visits are the best for having the place to yourself. I am a little disappointed that they haven't changed the hard, slippery tile floor in the toddler area and the entrance. You'd think that the toddler zone (for ages 4 and under) would have a padded floor for those who aren't quite steady on their feet yet. The rest of the place had foam mats on the floor, but the toddler area is the only place without the foam floor. I know that many suggestion cards and emails have been written by fellow moms suggesting they fix this, but it has yet to be changed. Overall, it's a great place for toddlers and kids who need to expend a little energy. read more

This Catch Air seems to be a bit (maybe quite a bit) past its prime. Came here with our 1.5 year old and hoped she'd be able to really run off some energy. It was just ok. There seems to be a level of grime that comes with time and age. Lots of the items in some of the older pictures are just gone now. Things look old. Outdated. Worn. We brought our grandsons who are seven and eleven. We came often, pre-covid. This was our first time back. They have taken away the two attractions that our boys enjoyed the most, so they were very disappointed. There is little left for them to do. They might spend an hour playing which cost us over $27. If your children are six years old or under, they will enjoy themselves here. Kids any older will be quickly bored. read more

While my son had a good time and the place is fun, I have to give 2 stars for the apathetic staff. They were not visible almost the entire time I was there. They were not verifying that people were leaving with their child. I saw several people, my self included, walk out the door with the staff not verifying that the stamp on the child's hand matched their parent. I am of the opinion that you should pay attention and know where your own child is at all times, but if your policy is to verify children leave with their parents, maybe you should endeavor to do that. I have been to several of the indoor play places and there is always staff wandering around the place just to keep order and keep the place clean. Not once did I see a staff member anywhere but the register or in their "room". I have been to this place before and never had these problems. Maybe it was an off day or maybe the place is heading downhill. read more

We had our daughters 5th birthday at this location. We decided to book a private party to ensure maximum fun for all. A private party is supposed to include a party coordinator who sets everything up and keeps the evening running smoothly and on time. This is supposed to be a great alternative to having a party at home because there is very little fuss for the consumer. The kids had a blast which is why I allowed for a couple of stars. However, the people who were paying, my husband and I, had a horrible experience. The "party coordinator" was incompetent. The whole evening was completely disorganized from the time we walked through the door. We were about 30 minutes into the evening before we were even introduced to the coordinator. Thankfully, I had come a little early and prepared the party room on my own. Not one employee asked me what was needed during the set up. I had to ask when each event would be taking place (dance party, pizza, cake, etc) while 4 and 5 year olds were melting down waiting to eat and get to the party room. I was asked by an employee in the middle of play time, about an hour into the party, to pay my bill????? Traditionally, you pay the remaining balance after services are rendered, crazy concept, right. Since there was little to no service, I was not even entertaining paying that bill early. My husband and I finally served the pizza to all of the kids after waiting for several minutes in a room full of hungry children. Good friends of ours and other parents pitched in to serve the cake to the 20+ kids who were there. No "party coordinator" in sight. I was only able to snap a few photos of our daughters 5th birthday due to this lack of service. At the end of the evening, 15 minutes to spare, some of the kids wanted to play for the last few minutes left. I was horrified to go out to the main play area and find that all of the lights had been turned off and the staff were preparing to leave. There were several other issues throughout the evening but, bottom line, do not EVER book a party at this location. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

This is a great place to go and play. They have something for kids of all ages. I like that they have healthy snacks for sale. I didn't give it 5 stars because sometimes it's too crowded. I've never been to a party there, so I can't comment on that. read more

My 17 month old has been 3 times in the past week or so. Especially for a kid who can walk, this place is great. It is the best place to take your kid and let them run crazy. Everything is padded. The place seemed pretty clean (my socks weren't black afterwards like they will be after an hour at the play area in Northpoint mall). There is a pool of balls, bouncy slides and other inflatable things. My daughter really loves bouncing on the little donkeys scattered about. There is a dance floor and they turn off all the lights and have a dance party with bubbles. My only compliant is that it is hot in there. I suppose it is from all the air blowing machines. You just have to dress appropriately for it. read more

We come here with my daughter when we visit my parents, about twice a year. She loves it! We can spend at least 2 hours here and she gets worn out. I do think it's a bit silly to charge for under 1, since there's nothing for babies to do here, and really there's nothing for them to do until closer to age 2. We don't have a play place like this where we live (columbus, OH) so we really look forward to when we can come here! read more

I wish there was a Catch Air in my backyard, we'd be there every day. For kids who can walk and up, this is a great facility. They've planned the space very nicely and safely. I have been to a handful of other facilities where the motor for the inflatables was exposed and kids could walk right up and touch it. Catch Air has done a great job in maximizing their space and planning it for their customers. I like that everything was padded, so even crawlers can get in on a little of the action. Only concern is the ease of kids walking out the door. Perhaps a small gate inside the space that was kidproof would be the answer. We went to Catch Air for the first time to attend a birthday party. To start, this place looks amazing! The inflatable areas are great, we loved the ball pit and balloon area above it. The light-up dance floor was a big hit and the obstacle course proved challenging yet exciting for my 4-year-old. I love the whole "allergen-free" idea they're pitching - it makes perfect sense and it's certainly something I can get behind. But when they lined up the kids to head into the party room, they made sure and doused all of the kids hands with hand sanitizer. Really? It's just alcohol, not a cleaner. Why not set up a hand-washing station for the kids? Plus, a few minutes later, all of the kiddos were eating pizza - with their hands! So you're transferring chemicals & alcohol onto the food? Then they served up drinks for the kids and I was shocked - Kool-Aid drinks! Not even juice or partial-juice... just sugar water in Capri Sun-like packaging. Thankfully the mom of the birthday boy had bottled water available. The facility is beautifully arranged and has some really fantastic play areas. For drop-in play, it's the tops. But I would not book a party without serious questions. Like I said, if you going to brag about an extra healthy environment for children, why drop the ball when it comes to such significant health areas, like nutrition? read more

One punch left and you decide not to honor it. Guarantees that you won't see any of my money ever again. That's okay, though. I moved to charlotte from california and this indoor playground was the by the far the best indoor playground ive ever been to! Love the atmosphere and kids loved it!! This place is very overpriced. I have a 3 year old and a child who just turned a year old. I was still charged $9.00 for my barely one year old who does not walk yet and cannot play or take advantage of the play areas. The employee did not care and said no matter what all children over a year old had to be charged. I was meeting people there otherwise I would've turned around and walked out. My 3 year old enjoyed playing but we are going to stick to the local parks or Monkey Joe's instead. read more

The facility is clean and so are the bathrooms, but the staff is very apathetic toward guests and their needs. Whatever is going on, on their cellphones and hanging out in the backroom is way more important than taking care of their duties. The powered attractions are not turned on and if you need a pair of mandatory socks, be prepared to squeeze into sizes that are way too small for adult feet. I'm beyond annoyed that we had to pay an extra $4 for him to get in the door. Seriously? You're charging us to supervise our own child? My son and I have come here 4 times so far. He loves it. I've noticed that depending on who's working that day, it's either perfect, clean, all inflatables working properly or its covered in hair, floor tiles popping up, motorized inflatables not turned on or working just an all around hot mess. Catch Air Cumming is great for play, A+. Parties, however, barely get a passing grade. Our party "coordinator" did not introduce herself. She did not communicate the order of events to me; in fact, she hardly uttered a (polite) word, never smiled from start to finish. It was very uncomfortable, and this alone was enough to turn me off forever. We had no idea what was going on and she had the audacity to get impatient and snippy when the kids were lining up for cake, "Do you, uh, just want to go ahead and get the group picture?" I could have overlooked other small details, but the coordinator and her assistant were so miserable, it made the other oversights just as unforgivable. Catch Air is for small kids, so parents stay and play, right? Well, they aren't invited to the party. There is no adult seating in the party room. There were three measly stools stacked up in a corner that I had to unstack and place out for three lucky guests. Every other mom, dad and grandparent was hunched over in a child sized chair. There are only enough paper goods and plastic utensils for the children you pay for. If you want the adults to have cake, bring your own paper products, I suppose. Kids get juice. If you want refreshments for the adults, be prepared to pay at concession by the bottle. Adult refreshments should be included in the party cost or as an optional add on. The party room was barely clean. The floor was sticky, and the trash can was full to the brim. Gross. The trash can was also strategically placed right behind the birthday girl, so every picture of her stars her and the big yellow trashcan until I wised up and moved it. Catch Air does limit the party to two hours, and this is fine, but being corralled and ushered out the back door by the scowling party "coordinator" was tacky, tacky, tacky. It would serve Catch Air well to have adult (ie mature) management on site during peak hours and parties. A smile with mindful coordinating would have gone a long way. My child would give her birthday party an A. As a parent, I rate the Cumming Catch Air party as a C-. read more

This place is not very clean even though they advertise that they are offering a sanitary environment. It is outdated. Not efficient space for a baby/young toddler (under 18 months). The staff (a young guy named Dustin in particular) is not friendly and has no sense of customer service whatsoever. Monkey Joe's is a much better option in this area. read more

I bought the 5 pass Groupon and took my two children in October. I specifically asked hte little girl working the counter what I had to do redeem the other 3 passes. She said that I could just bring the Groupon in again and they would deduct the visits. Today, in December, I took my kids as well as my niece, and was planning on using the last 3 passes. When they checked it they said it has already been used. I told them the story above and the little girl said that she will go back and check. When she came back out of the back she said that there was nothing she could do because we were supposed to get a punch card after the first time we came. I asked her how I was supposed to know that if the employee I was dealing with did not tell me? She said she was sorry that there was nothing else she could do. I said let me speak to the manager that she went in the back and talked to. She said that she was the general manager. I asked her to make it right and she said again there was nothing left for her to do. I told her that now I had to pay or disappoint my children. I went back and asked for her name and the owners name an contact info. All she would give me was the owners name saying the only way I could contact him was through Facebook. What?? Anyway, we won't be back here. I had a bd taste in my mouth the first time as the place is run by, what seems like, 15 year old girls. We recently had Jaco's 7th birthday at Cumming location after we did his 6th at Johns Creek last year. We enjoyed Cumming better than Johns Creek because they have more variety of activites, excellent customer service (I think our coordinator's name was Kathy), and most of all, it was not as crowd as Johns Creek. They got two party rooms so they run only one party at a time while Johns Creek runs multiple parties at the same time. I would strongly recommend this location to my friends. read more

My two year old son loves Catch Air. We even have to call it CA when my husband and I are considering going or else we wouldn't hear the end of it. It can get very crowded and the staff isn't always super helpful, but for the most part its a great place to let the little ones run off steam when outside is not an option. read more

This place is extremely out dated and has a overall feeling of being dirty and old. Kids run around with sticky snacks and beverages. There are two small tables for snacks that are usually taken. The ball pit is a joke! There are hardly enough balls to cover your feet. The snack choices are horrible and the popcorn is not editable. This location is waayyy over priced for what it is. Catch Air Marietta location. I love this location. We have been there 8 times since it opened in September!! We have refered families as well. The only discrepancy that i had is that we did not notice that a gift had not been brought out to the party room. The next day when we called the marietta location, they said they had the gift. I asked if they would ship it to the birthday girl since they were at fault for not bringing it out. They declined and said that the family [who lived over 20 miles away] should come out and pick it up. read more
