no corn, no balck bean mash, no guacamole. Sucked

Ordered the Chicken Quesadilla described as coming with black bean mash, roasted corn, poblano pepper, and guacamole. It came with chicken whole black beans, and one miniscule strip of pepper. No guacamole, no mashed black beans, and no roasted corn. If you want to pay alot of money for very little, this is the place for you!

Came here for lunch with girlfriends. I didn't know this prior to coming but this place also does catering and local food deliveries so I grabbed a menu prior to being seated. We sat outside in the courtyard which is shaded. It is a small space and it's prime seating so I can imagine if you come between 12-1pm the space would be filled up. We were on the later side and got right in. Such a delightful outside space and it felt extremely relaxing. Almost a bit storybook'ish. Our waitress was amazing. Very attentive from the first minute we sat down which set up the dining experience for an A+ right of the bat. We also received smiles from everyone else as soon as we walked in. Between our group we had a crab cake salad special, chipotle chicken salad special and the shrimp tacos. The presentation of everything was beautiful and the portions were pretty large. I had the crab cake special and it was okay. The salad was dressed perfectly, fresh and delicious. The crab cake eh. Chicken was okay and tacos seemed liked. The prices were in the higher side for lunch but I would try this place again due to the ambiance and great service.

This place is so cute and the food is delicious, very fresh and healthy! It was cool being able to see the chef make and prepare my meal. I'm glad I was able to dine in because I had an event catered by them and their food was amazing when they brought it to the event. If you're looking for good good with a quaint ambiance this is the place to check out.

I've tried this place 3 times. The food is overpriced and very bland. The portions are small for what you're paying. They don't have any delivery service until after 5pm so don't plan on ordering for an office unless you want to go pick up your mediocre (at best) and overpriced food. Make sure you ask for napkins and utensils if you need them because they don't seem to be included. Also make sure the containers are completely closed so the food doesn't leak out of the flimsy paper bag they use. The staff is very friendly and the place does seem to be immaculately clean. Beef stroganoff - The beef is a painfully obvious cheap cut of meat which would be fine if the chef knew how to cook it properly. He/she clearly does not because it was rubbery, chewy, and borderline inedible. The broccoli had no taste whatsoever. The stroganoff itself was bland and lacked any real substance. No seasoning, no real flavor. Rigatoni - This was just ok. They don't put enough sauce for the amount of macaroni they give you but that's ok because the macaroni was overcooked and mushy. Grilled cheese - Grease ball sandwich. Stay away. 3 strikes and you're out.

    $14 for this...k

Came here with my husband and daughter...what a rip off! $10 for a kids meal, for 3 chicken fingers and overly salty fries even our toddler didn't eat. The ambiance was awkward and had bad vibes. No music playing and only one other table it felt more like a library than a lunch place. I asked for my sandwhich on brioche roll instead of ciabatta bread and was told they couldn't, even though several sandwiches on the menu featured brioche rolls and it therefore would've been an easy swap. The chef behind the window said it in a nasty tone which just added to my instinct of "we should probably just leave." After waiting 20+ mins while no one else was in the restaurant we get our food. My sandwhich was the turkey with some sort of relish. It was bland, overpriced and I've quite honestly had way better from Panera. My husbands order was the absolute worst. He got the grilled shrimp wrap and it was atrocious. For $14, he got 2 shriveled, burnt shrimp on a bed of unappetizing slaw. It was essentially a slaw wrap, for $14...what an absolute joke. Please take a look at my picture of what we were served, quite the contrary from the false advertising of pictures on here. I wouldn't eat here again if you paid me. We even told people looking at the menu on the way in to just leave as it was awful.

The food is also really good - i recommend the k-chicken & waffles and the lemon ricotta pancakes w blueberry compote. They also have lots of fun drinks (both coffee/tea-based and fruity refreshers). We had several servers handling our order. To start, I had a hot tea with honey. The honey was an interesting consistency and was not as thick as expected. Seemed to be a little watery but the taste was good when mixed in my tea. For appetizer, we split the Crispy Ddukbokki which were sweet & spicy crispy rice cakes with a side of a soft boiled egg, topped with everything seasoning. We both really enjoyed the flavor of these rice cakes. For my main course, I had the Rainbow Salad with grilled chicken. The portion was very good and all of the veggies in the salad were super fresh. The presentation was very pretty. Parking can be a bit tricky but luckily we were able to find parking on one of the side streets. Overall a cute little breakfast/brunch place in the Glen Rock downtown. It does get very busy on weekends so reservations are a must.

Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock

There's space to wait for your order too- so if it's cold or raining, there's room for you. They're open 7a-7p which is great. It was busy when I ran in today around 12:45p on a Sunday and that's always a good sign. It looks clean and the drinks I saw looked appetizing. The food menu sounds fantastic. The guy who helped me with my order was super nice. But I actually went in there on the hunt for something specific. It's the 2nd time I went in since they moved to the space across the street from where they were. The first time I stopped in quickly and saw they had what I was looking for but very few so I didn't buy anything. l had done a very difficult and time intensive Google search for Macaron Cafe macarons. They wholesale out of NYC and they're the best macarons ever. There are probably 6-7 places in Ridgewood that sell macarons, some that make them fresh baked. And none are as good as the ones from Macaron Cafe. Pre-covid I could find them locally pretty easily. But now, it's really hard. Most of the places that sell them put up a menu of the flavors that's very easily identifiable, and they carry the full line. By googling a photo of the menu I was able to find them in Fort Lee and American Dream and those are both too far. I'd gone into every single place that sells macarons in downtown Ridgewood except RCC and none of them have them. I finally made it into Ridgewood when RCC is open (we usually end up in Ridgewood after dinner and they're closed) and imagine my joy in seeing the macarons there. I can tell it's them instantly. Except - they only have like eight of the flavors! They don't advertise them. They don't have the menu up either, so they only way I could tell there might be a chance of them being there was an old photo of their counter from Yelp or Google. So, I didn't have any drinks or food. I just bought some macarons. And I would've bought more except that they didn't really have the flavors I wanted. There are generally around 28-32 flavors and they change/add/take away every few months/holidays, etc. My knocking a star is ONLY for the lack of flavors of these amazing macarons and only having a tease amount of flavors of them. And they should advertise their baked goods/desserts better, like in photos on instagram. They don't post enough of all their food. I had to just take a chance and come in from an old photo. I know I don't want to have to drive to American Dream mall for these macarons. And I know the girls behind me in line today were talking about how they came in for tiramisu.
